Split, Croatia.

Steven and you had been working together on the museum in London for quite a long time. Yet he only got brave enough to ask you around the end of the spring holidays but some mishaps and a couple of days of you being sick with a bad cold led you to finally go on your first date in the middle of June. It was beautiful, you both had a wonderful time and found out you had shared many things in common. A love for reading, a love for animals (Steven adored your dog!) and you both had very calm natures. You had more in common than you could ever imagine.

The relationship was flourishing, you met always on your days offs and tried your best to coordinate them and together you visited a lot of museums and old buildings and tried every vegan place in London. Lots of walks and small hikes with your beloved dog and tons of movie nights.

This is why when the topic of vacation was coming up, you suggested finding a place to travel to together. Steven hadn’t really traveled much in his life but he was enthusiastic about going with you and as for you, you were an avid traveler in your college years. You decided to travel to Croatia after finding a good room on the internet since it was both a historical city and had beaches close by. Steven really wanted to go swimming. You were hesitant at that aspect but Steven reassured you that you’d have a wonderful time.

Now it was your first night after arriving and you were both still talking and giggling with each other about all the things you saw and all the new people you met. A bottle of wine on the floor, your head in his naked chest as he gestured on about a strange man he met on the plane. In the back of your head though your anxiety was getting the best of you. Even though you had managed to avoid the beach today, you knew that tomorrow he’d insist on going. Your plan was simple. To try and exhaust him so much from going pretty much everywhere and then hope he’d be satisfied with going at night.

It wasn’t like Steven hadn’t seen you naked. But the truth is you knew you weren’t as attractive as you’d be if you had fewer scars and markings all over your body, in places where winter clothes and clothes, in general, could always keep occupied. Where sometimes if you didn’t take your shirt off during sex it wouldn’t mind. You tried to keep your thoughts to yourself but accidentally you visibly flinched when he mentioned how cool it would be to take vacation pictures together in your swimsuits.

“What’s wrong?” He asks as you get up from the floor.

“I got a little dizzy from the wine, I’ll just throw some water on my face.”

“Oh, I’m sorry love, want me to turn the air conditioner on?”

“No, it will be alright. Be right back.”

You jolt towards the bathroom and look at the mirror. You didn’t know how to get out of this. The pictures would surely make everything worse. You knew you were feeling insecure but you were only human.

“You alright, love?” A faint knock is heard on the door and that’s when a small tear falls off your face.

“I’m alright.” You try to shout but there is a broken cry in your voice. He pushes the handle open and watches you, eyes wide trying to decipher what’s wrong.

“You don’t seem alright, love. I am right here for anything you might need. Please talk to me, I want to hear what you want to say. Is not good not to express ourselves.”

You take a deep breath and glance at him, a small pout on your face.

“I’m afraid.”

“Of what, baby?”

“The beach.” You hesitate and take a deep breath. “Well, not the beach itself, the place.”

“You don’t have to swim, we can just hang outside.”

You look at him and press your lips together.

“Tell me what’s the wrong baby and I will try and fix it. “

“I don’t want people to see me.” Your lips tremble, another tear falling from your eye, and Steven comes closer to you holding your arm.

“But why, my love, you’re beautiful.”

“Maybe on the face but people will stare at me.”

“Only because you’re gorgeous. I might have to fight someone off you.”

You chuckle and shake your head.

“You know why.”

“Nobody can stare at you for simply having a couple of-”

But you cut him off frustrated with yourself. “Is not just a couple!”

“I look at you every day and I know how beautiful you look. No one is going to look at you funny. “

You look at him, fire and anger on your face and he only holds your hand softly. You hate this, you hate talking to him like that when you are the one feeling insecure but you can’t help it. You are scared.

“We could go at night. No one would look then.” You whisper. Eyes darting away from him. “We don’t have to draw attention to ourselves and not to mention we could find somewhere off the city, more countryside…”

“Go ahead and put on your swimsuit for me. Right now.”

You look at him, study him, observe him, his expression is still calm, a certain tone of intimate love thick on his tongue.

“Steven!”

“I won’t hear one more negative word coming from your lips, love.”

“But.”

“No buts. Go ahead and put it on for me.”

You relax your shoulders and nod your head. You begin to walk allowing him to follow you as your reach in your bag and take it off. See, he was the one who had gifted it to you, asked your color and your size, and thought it would have been fun for both of you to wear each other preferences, this is why you had to wear it.

“Put it on please.” He pleads again looking at you with loving eyes. You only sigh in response and begin to undress and redress quickly and slowly at the same time. Steven is watching you, adoringly so, and you feel vulnerable yet safe under his eye. You sigh as you wrap your hands around yourself turning to look at yourself in the mirror.

But he stops you, placing his hands on your shoulders, and then after taking one very deep look at you, invisibly asking you to trust him, he presses his lips against your skin. Slowly he starts kissing each and every one of the markings dragging his lips alongside them. Placing love right where you seemingly couldn’t.

“You are absolutely gorgeous.” He mumbles around your skin continuing in his worship journey, small tears have formed now in the corner of your eyes. You never knew how one could love you so much or so deep. You bless your lucky stars and tenderly caress his curly hair smiling.

Slowly he sinks down to his knees dedicated as before looking up at you as he grabs your hands and intertwines your fingers together.

“Do you trust me, love?”

“Completely.”

“Will you come with me?”

“Absolutely.”

He smiles, and he brings his lips to your locked hands and kisses them.

“I love you.”

“I love you too.”

The rest of the night he makes sure just how much he just loves you and admires you and that is completely fine by you. The next day you stick to your plan to exhaust him as much as possible but not exactly how you expected yourself to. But Steven makes sure to show how much he loves every single minute of the day.

Hi Dani! I read your last fic and when I read the final footnote it made me laugh and I wanted to tell you an interesting fact about Argentina. I live in La Plata, a city neighboring Buenos Aires, much smaller and one of the most planned and organized cities in terms of its distribution. My city has a public theme park (which means it's free) called El País de los Niños (The Land of Children) (also called La Ciudad de Los Niños -The City of Children) and it has attractions like roller coasters, cultural centers, museums, small judicial systems with chambers of deputies in miniature so that children learn about the Argentine judicial system (there are also simpler games such as carousels or swings). But what I was going to tell you, based on your interesting fact at the bottom of the note, is that in Argentina since the 1950s there has been a rumor that this park was Walt Disney's inspiration to create Disneyland.

Although it could never be proven, the myth took hold. Some even risk that Disney participated in the inauguration that took place on November 26, 1951, when the work that had begun two years earlier and in which 1,600 workers participated was completed. They also say that Walt then met with President Juan Domingo Perón and proposed turning that small city, whose central idea was to teach children how the institutions of the Republic work, into an amusement park. Perón would have said no. Four years later, in Anaheim, California, the first Disneyland opened.

The historian Claudio Panella, a teacher and researcher specialized in Peronism at the National University of La Plata, assures that there is no concrete evidence that allows us to affirm that Walt Disney was inspired by the Republic to build his empire. “What can be pointed out, however, is that a myth has been created in this regard and, as such, it has firmly established itself in the popular imagination and continues to be transmitted from generation to generation,” he says.

And I thought your information was very funny because in the Latin fandom (among the Argentinians) we always played with the idea that Magnus went to see the inauguration of one of the first theme parks in the world with Ragnor, Catarina and Tessa and that years later he would take - along with Alec - his children to El País de los Niños and we always talked about how Rafe would absolutely love this park! Im even going to make a fic about this!

Favourite painter: I love museums, my answer to the superpower question is usually teleportation because I would happily spend all of my afternoons in like, The Met or the Lourve. But, weirdly enough, no one particular painter comes to mind... Erm, Bob Ross?

Favourite writer: At the risk of sounding like a pretentious English major, I'm gonna say Shakespeare. It's the boundless troves of meaning and magic in his texts. Favourite band: Queen. My dad was a HUGE fan of 70s rock (Queen, Deep Purple, Guns N' Roses, Scorpions, Aerosmith) so that was what I grew up with. Lol my teacher was very confused when I, at age 7, told her my fav song was 'Another One Bites the Dust'.

Favourite meal and drink: Bread and iced water. Sounds slightly psychopathic but think about bread in it's many and varied forms! Then think about all the other yummy things you could put on or into bread!

Favourite outfit aesthetic: Bold colours. Simple designs. Lots of jewellery. My body looks quite different from how it did a few years ago (unintentional weight loss), so I've been building a whole new wardrobe and gradually figuring out what I like.

Favourite singer: Taeyeon 태연. My Korean isn't great but that means nothing because her voice has a way of piercing straight through my heart and deep into my soul. Someone once said she sings like "a woman who has been divorced seven times" and like, YES.

Favourite item I own: My laptop. A basic answer but it's what I'm typing this on and it's one of the few things that's truly completely mine and it keeps me company a lot (and sane, ngl).

Favourite possession: A stuffed animal I've had since I was a child — a little doggy, because I've always wanted one but my parents said no. I used to be quite embarrassed/ afraid of being laughed at but the lovely solreefs once said:

“oh I’m too old for stuffed animals” skill issue. sorry you can’t appreciate little creatures made to hang out with you, I on the other hand am full of joyous whimsy and therefore vastly superior.

I love that. Now I'm not only unabashed in my whimsy, my little stuffed animal has become a special sort of... gauge? Comfortability indicator? Like, I knew my ex wasn't the one when I felt this deep reluctance to show him it *wince*

Favourite perfume: SW19 Noon — Feel the noon of Wimbledon Park, with the scent of cold water under the cool shade of a tree and the scent of iris flowers in full bloom in the sun. It's divine.

Almost nothing sexier than waking up to breakfast and a half naked Sugar Sir already immersed in three or so books about aviation. He wasn’t joking about getting his PPL.

And yes I said almost.

We went out last night. Met up with my bestie from elementary and her circle of friends. One of those friends had a bebe like three months ago. (I know you know where this is going.)

1400 may always say he doesn’t want kids but he’s not above helping when it comes to child rearing. Mom and dad needed a break. And 1400 was like “I’ll hold bebe”. And lemme tell ya… I had to keep repeating “I’ve held my kids, I’ve raised them, I don’t want anymore”, cause what is it about tall strong men holding a baby that makes my brain go “uh 😳🥹😍 one more?”

Like, I’m not alone in this. And people did ask us last night if having kids is in our future cause we both seem comfortable and competent (that’s such a German way of stating that). Mind you, not all of my bestie’s friends knew 1400 and me at that point. Our answer was a hard no. The refreshing thing was that there was no questioning why. And no “you’ll change your mind”.

One thing I realized last night though is how much I miss working with children. And I brought that up to 1400 when we got home. And he seemed totally unfazed when he said “I know, Bunny. You talk about your teachings days often.” I never realized I did that. I guess… like I really do love taking care of and teaching children. Either in an ECE daycare or elementary setting. I just love seeing their little eyes when they learn a new thing, or how they ask questions, and their world is still so new and exciting. And like I also remember how exhausting it was to work in that field and also raising my own kids. But ultimately, I loved it and I miss it. And I’m thinking to get my certifications here after all.

So, I told 1400 this last night.

Now remember I said “almost” earlier? So I walk into the kitchen, breakfast is made, 1400 sits by the table, studying. He gets up, kisses my forehead, and pours me a coffee while I take a seat and plate my breakfast, only to discover that the stack of papers next to my plate aren’t for 1400s PPL course, but info he’s printed out about things I would need to become a certified ECE teacher in Germany, with a note attached that read “whenever you’re ready ❤️”

So… nothing sexier than a man who listens and supports you without pushing you to mental exhaustion cause he understands why I’m very hesitant to work in a field where I’m seen by people every day.

(Anyways. We’re now on our way to FraPort Museum and immersive experience. 1400s eyes lit up like a kid in the candy store when I told him we gonna go look at planes today. Lmao.)

(Ps- 1400: Bunny. This is so cool. Bunny. Look at that. Bunny! Why are we going that way? Wait? We gonna see the cargo planes??? (He’s like a little kid, bouncing on his heels. I swear, when it comes to some men, the whole excited about toys thing doesn’t go away. The toys just get bigger. But like, he travles so much. Not like he never sees planes. It’s just from the other side. But ngl. It is impressive to see the cargo planes, especially the turbines. Like you can fit a house in there!

It’s also nice to know that I can also surprise him, you know. I always worry a little cause let’s be honest, he’s financially way ahead of me, and money was always dangled in front of me like “hur hur I’m the breadwinner (my ex)”, and I also don’t wanna be a financial burden or become dependent again and ugh, I don’t want 1400 to think that’s what I’m all about, know what I mean. And he always says that I don’t have to but… it’s a learning curve, you know. I don’t need grand gestures. And I know 1400 doesn’t need them either. It’s just nice to pull the “I have a surprise” card on him and take him out.))

Henry and William's relationship is... complicated, tosay the least. No one knows what the f- is going on because they may act friendly one second and the other they look ready to k1ll each other

Prophet's Opinion On F.F. Gebrandt's Prelapsarian Exhibition

Prefacing this of course that this is all ~just my opnion~, some may hate what i liked and loved what i didnt. But i thought it’d be fun to type up a review.

What I liked

As always I love the world quality events, there’s always something so fun about every body working together towards one goal! This shown strongly in the clues section, seeing everyone work together to solve them all in the first 4 hours and having a doc put together for people who arent keen on puzzles was fantastic :]

I really like the items from the event, i think the affiliations are great especially for my midgame characters. Always good to have more endgame stat items. And im super curious about the neathbow option hehe gotta get my boxes together.

I also loved the art for the event. The overall promotional art was so well done and I loved the area art of the museum so much. And i was so very very happy to see the full art of the neathbow. Illegal pride flag my beloved.

It was cool to see F F Gerdbrandt featre more heavily in a story. I always really thought she was a neat character so its really cool to see her feature more.

I also loved the.. i think it was 4th?... stage where we were getting the items to solve the problem, i liked how it was split between big endgame things, but also still provided an oppurtunity for newer players to contribute.

Mechanics wise in general I thought it was pretty good. Pacing is always hard with these kinda of things, but it worked out pretty well to me.

(also the 1:1 pennys reward was pretty sweet ngl. love that sweet sweet cash money)

What I didn't like

I'll be honest, I found the overall plot lackluster. I get more annoyed when I think a plot had potential and blew it, and that was the case here. The build up with the museum and the machine and time was interesting - and then meh

I didnt feel the stakes at all. I get not every event should be city ending based, but you’re going to break a law as big as time and just. That. idk. I didnt really feel like the statues were a threat. I’m also just not that big on second city lore which probably doesnt help matters.

Character choices were not present or just weak in general. There was pretty much no callback to player choice beyond maybe BaL for a couple clues, and one specific ending of one specific ES, which is rated overaull as a not highly ranked one so its weird it keeps being featured. And i wont lie, I was pretty annoyed that doing the second city war could only get a clue if you did that specific ES. like come, seriously? If that war was supposed to be foreshadowing then this just kinda feels almost rude.

There was just... no further wrap up on the plot with time either. Like didnt more stuff happen then just the statues? Maybe more will happen later idk. Its just after the disapointment that was new years I wanted more.

All of this put together made me care very little about the plot. If this Event was an ES i’d put it on a lower ranking, as ES are often a mixed bag, but idk i kinda expected more from the new big event. I know it was always supposed to be smaller the GCO, but eh. I think a better story could have been worked out.

I think the Empress' part was weak at best. I don't care at all about her unless it's bringing her to justice for the terrible and selfish things she's done. I dont care about Victoria and Albert at, like sorry your cousin died or whatever,

And also like,,,, okay I have no qualms with historical fiction lmao but the RPF of such a prominent real person is always weird to me so I'm always put off when text heavily features of the Empress. That was a real person, who did real, horrible things. Makes it less fun when she does more bad stuff in game, compared to other villains in the game who are purley fictional.

And the whole thing gets kinda weird all together when you think of the long history from the victorian era to now of british museums and the items they take and...yea. oof. leaves a weird feeling with me I wont lie.

Anyway this is long enough already lol, ill stop here.

As far as Im aware the past two events have been experiments so I hope this one ran sucessfully for collecting data on stuff for the game. Excited to see what comes in the future, and despite my qualms I am still beyond thrilled over the new content we got.

Semi-Polyamorous, but a partner passed away. My other partner and I have been ongoing for about 2 years now, and we just exchanged promise rings gkfkgd. <3 they got me through all of this ngl I couldn’t have made it this far without him.

Favorite Color: warm colors

I tend to go with a warm yellowy pastel color, a nice golden tone, or pink, but lately a warm toned lavender has been calling to me. I’ve also been known to dabble in warm greens (sage and olive). Cool colors can fuck off tho.
