watching ted and rebecca’s fate and then seeing past lives in the same week…………….

i don’t know if that was heartbreaking or cathartic or something in between but the theme of the film revolves around the korean concept of inyeon which is that people are destined to meet one another if their souls have overlapped before and the closer you get in each life means the more times they’ve overlapped in previous lives

something about ted and rebecca being cosmically connected in a way that suggests they have overlapped before and what we witnessed was a middle part of their soul’s journeys and even if they didn’t quite make it together it’s inevitable they will overlap again and that this version is a past life of their future lives

needless to say i bawled my goddamn eyes out in that theater sorry to literally everyone around me

woke up this morning thinking about how this is gonna be the first christmas puen doesn't spend alone

of course christmas isn't an official public holiday in thailand, but that doesn't stop people from gathering together to celebrate. for puen it's always been just a normal work day, though, where at the end of it he got back to a dark and empty apartment as usual, so he's left completely speechless when one day he comes home to colored lights and paper chains hung all-over the place, talay cooking in the kitchen while humming along to christmas songs

and there are just so many things puen gets to do now: putting mistletoe everywhere so he can have an excuse to get a kiss from talay, watching cheesy american christmas movies while snuggled against talay on the couch with hot chocolate in their hands, celebrating with talay's family and getting gifts from someone other than his fans.....

it doesn't matter what he gets, though, talay will always be the best gift he's ever received

look at this frame! don't their poses look similar, even though they're in totally different places?? well, there's a simple reason for it! we can see raph in the driver seat, his left hand on the wheel, while the other one's searching for someting, it's symbolising his active role as leader, while leo stands alongside him, his left hand on a handhold while he gestures with the other, showing him being less active and more of a passive presence, but he's ready on his feet, it's symbolising his potential as raph's co-leader but also him not yet being ready, still gripping the safety rails instead of the driving wheel-
