I go by Sigil/Sawyer/Coyote, and I'm a 17yo and Florida based therian/alterhuman! I'm transmasc and use he/it pronouns, as well as multiple xenogenders such as therigender and caninecoric. I'm (possibly male leaning bi) and taken by my beloved partner :3

how did you first get into fandom? hyperfixated on a show, stumbled upon the fandom side of tumblr, did not make a tumblr but lurked a little bit, decided fic was cringey and that i didn't like reading it (it was a v small fandom with not a lot of quality content), hyperfixated on another show and decided to try reading fic again, had my entire world rocked to its core, made a blog, been around ever since.

how long have you been engaging with fandom spaces? like nine years?

how often do you read fanfics? i'd say every day, usually when i'm in bed.

you’re trying to convince a friend to get into your current fandom(s) with you. what episode, clip, or scene are you showing them? okay so i actually did this with one of my closest irl friends and she got...possibly more into supernatural than i am, and she reads destiel fic, and has had intense gallavich fic phases as well. and it was actually super easy lol. she just has the same kind of brain that i have, and i just had to tell her to watch the shows because i knew they'd fuck her up the same way they fucked me up. she saw my reaction after november 5th 2020 and wanted to know everything, so i told her everything, and she started watching spn the next day. i watched shameless a couple months later and lost my entire mind, and all i had to do was tell her that she NEEDED to watch it, and she started watching it right away. i think if i had to show her a specific scene though, it probably would've been mickey coming out in 4x11. iconic, legendary. she would've eaten that up even with no context. also special shoutout to this friend, because she's the person who taught me to not be embarrassed about being interested in fic, or fandom in general. i always thought she was so brave for being open about her hyperfixations in her everyday life, like for real lol. i still struggle with it, but i've gotten more open about it because of her.

and finally, what does fandom mean to you? a community of some of my best friends, and the place where i learned that i can actually be a creative person. i'm doing all kinds of fulfilling things with my life because of this space 🥹

The Penguin/Oswald Cobblepot from DC comics was a character i super hyperfixated on when I was like 13-16 (he is still so so beloved to me hdhhchchsggsvebshsjsksk freaky little bird man I love youuuuuuu💛), and it's what inspired me to get into birds, bird watching, and penguins! As I got older these things just became a part of me, so now the love for birds and penguins is more genuine rather than appealing to a hyperfixation lol

So yeah!! That's why almost all my other internet handles have some variation of "Jojo" and "penguin" in them xD

Comfort Movie: ooh I have a few, but I find myself going back to Hera Pheri to make myself feel better on a bad day. It's a hilarious movie.

Comfort Food: depends on the season honestly. Gajar ka Halwa in the winters, various pakodas when it's raining, stuffed paranthas with spicy curd for winter mornings. I like tiramisu and wai wai when I feel like crying. It all depends, various comfort go to foods for different situations.

Comfort Song: currently Rubaaiyan, but I think Kadam by Prateek Kuhad always gets to me <3

Comfort Clothes: it's so hot rn here so baggy everything, but something that doesn't make me look bad. Cute oversized T-shirts, baggy jeans that sinch at the waist just right, maybe a oversized plaid paired with a tank top if it's windy.

🎵Big art dump while I work on goosebumps headcanons for a post 🎵

First is Toph and Ralsei because I like them as a friendship 🤍

Second is a crying Oshawatt because this morning I came across some double standarding with mental illness stuff and ableism which made me upset so Oshawatt was my healthy coping

Third is Eddie Munson my beloved, he's talking about his totally not crush on Steve 'the king' Harrington because in my headcanon he's def 💖💛💙 for Steve

Forth is Spy because I realized that he's actually a lot of fun to draw. Maybe it's from my recent spree of drawing pointy nose guys? Gotta draw Felix and the cycle of pointy nosed men will be complete

Fifth was supposed to be a humanization of Stinkie McFadden, but I remembered in this wonderful casper fanfic I adore with all of my heart and soul there was flashback with shirtless Stinkie and I remember a user on tumblr (Don't remember the username atm) had proposed the hc idea of Stinkie with long pretty hair and I was like "yes yes. Time to draw both ✏" I will not apologize for my hyperfixation on the ghostly trio, but at the same time sorry lol

Sixth is an Anayeon in my Josef and Sauer series. They're a species that's feared within the series, finding a target that did something so awful it stalks and possess' the target, usually leading to death because humans cannot handle possession, and majority of spirits cannot handle possessing humans due to the damage it does, but Anayeons are more able to do it since that was their purpose.

Next is a quick doodle of Cain Sephtis because I love the lad, flaws and all! I know he's my oc, but still-

Then there's Spamton. Idk what I was thinking but I thought it'd be funny.

The fifth installment of the Ran Takeover is here! It's time for the Strings Cover! I knew that I wanted to make a Strings version of this theme the second I put the violin down, I feel it just fits it so well. There's so many emotions in this and I'm loving ALL of them! It's elegant, yet sorrrowful in an unexpected way, all while feeling both imposing, distant, and graceful. Man I really wish Beepbox would allow for a complete version of this. This is for sure one of my best Strings Covers I've made due to the sheer amout of emotion I managed to capture
