#💕 :: unpopular opinion.
I know that a lot of people think that when Fabian went to uni, he would apply for a history degree or something related to that particular field. Like that seems the consensus in the fandom.
But am I the only one who thinks Fabian would want to go in the STEM field? And specifically study something related to space and the universe??
Give me Astrophysicist!Fabian in his adorable white scientist lab coat!!!!! ⭐🌟🌠✨

💚 what does everyone get wrong about your favorite character? there's a lot to say about Riza but I'm getting tired so I'll keep it short - we do a huge disservice to her by reducing her to "girlboss"/team mom/etc". There's a pattern to these answers lol
💖 what is your biggest unpopular opinion about the series? probably not that unpopular and I love an angsty ending as much as anyone but I think the whole idea of royai being executed after reaching their goals is antithetical to the story's entire message about having to live with the sins of your past to become a better person + trusting the people around you to keep you accountable and make a better world (I'd like to think that post promised day they both kinda realize that their desire for self-sacrifice is at its core self-gratifying and that they can do more for the people alive 🤷♀️)

What’s your most unpopular DN opinion? (It can be about canon, fanon the fandom)
I've been in the DN fandom for almost a year now, but I don't really...know? I have several things that I think would be unpopular, i.e. Creep Near, True Successor Mello, A being a girl, SAS Light—but I don't know the rest of the fandom well enough to know which of them would be MOST unpopular. I'm in my little circle of similarly insane people.
Though...now that I think about it my most unpopular opinion even within that group is that Light has the ability and desire to top lmao. LET MY BOY SWITCH DAMMIT. LET HIM STRUGGLE. HE'D RATHER DIE KILL THAN BE HUMILIATED EVEN IN A SEXUAL SETTING 😤
So I guess my most unpopular opinion (or my most passionate one in this case) is that a lot of the fandom severely underestimate the depth of Light's pride :'3

[Ch 3, 4 and 5 spoilers]
I'm rewatching ch5 for lore and:
Sally regularly wanders around the woods looking for a UFO crash site that he found out about through the super-secret diary of a dead man/alien in order to prove his own sanity and now I'm gonna be thinking about it all day

unpopular opinion # 5 : slow burn ships typically aren’t worth the wait. i don’t mean a ship that the writers didn’t begin to even hint at in the early seasons, i’m talking about a ship that the writers hint at, tease and hold out for seasons upon seasons, long past their natural turning point. if the characters can’t get together after a season of hints and pining, the writers clearly don’t know what they’re doing 🤷🏼♀️

🔥For Kaz?
honestly I see so many different arguments and analyses about Kaz that it's hard for me to determine whether any of my opinions on him are really unpopular or not lol.
but I'll say that I do agree with lb about how kaz is a much less noble character than the darkling. I think any interpretation of kaz as being 'moral actually' or a 'tried and true feminist' is incorrect. I think he is a very selfish person, but he is understandably selfish. this isn't a criticism of him, it's just a statement. and I actually really enjoy that about him as a character. he isn't noble, he isn't an idealist, he isn't fighting for justice, he isn't a women's rights activist or really an activist at all. he's just a kid who cares about very specific things that affect him and the people he loves. he's a survivor first, and over time he learns that survival isn't everything, but it's still in his blood.
in the show, I adore him in most parts, and have to wash my brain with bleach over the fact that the writers made him a slaver. that they made inej a slaver. but that's another opinion I have about the inclusion of the crows in the sab story to begin with.

💔💛 (for FMA)
💔 If you had to remove one major character from the series, who would you choose?
This is such a tough one 🤔 I'm gonna say Alex Armstrong... I love him and he's such a fun character but the more I think about it I can still see most of the major story beats happening just fine without him or with someone else in his place (wouldn't be as fun, of course). But I'm glad he's in the story so I won't defend this opinion very hard or at all lol
💛 what is a popular ship you just can't get behind, and why?
I'll preface by saying that it usually takes a lot for me to outright hate a ship. Most of the ones I don't vibe with I can just go "okay, I can see why you like that but it's not really my thing" and then go about my day BUT it's royed. Absolute no-no for me. I don't care to ship a teenager with a 30 year old man and that should be enough on it's own but it also doesn't make sense to me at all in the context of the story/their personalities

7- What unpopular opinions do you have? 👀
Oooh thank you!! And I actually don't know 😂😂 I'm not sure what's really popular and every time I've seen people say an unpopular opinion, everyone comes out of the wormwood going oh saaaame so 🤷♀️
But let's have a think 😄
I think in canon everyone's pretty well-adjusted and that when we're exploring other interpretations we are inherently veering out of canon by saying "what if this event impacted Character X in this other alternate way". Which is fine, I enjoy those immensely, I just think that something can be canon compliant with both the plot and the character without being actually based in canon 😅 And I think that's something to keep in mind - it's all personal emphasis based on the story we want to tell.
Another (more traditional one perhaps) would be that John and EOS don't have a father-daughter relationship. I don't mind it in the slightest and I've certainly used it as a shorthand myself, but I think that they have a very unique relationship that's beyond that. I see their relationship on a much more even playing field where mutual trust and respect for each other allows them to learn from each other and to be autonomous from each other. I find the father-daughter descriptor tends to make things more one sided and have just John teaching EOS whereas I see it being a lot more balanced. It's not even like mentor/mentee or anything - I think that we can take John's statement of "I want a partner, a friend" very literally and like... EOS is John's friend and John is EOS's friend and they work together and are partners aboard TB5. That's it but that's also EVERYTHING to me 😄💕💕💕💕

Heroes of Olympus is the worse series in the Greek-Roman pentologies
Yeah I agree to this.
I mean HoO has got its moments, there were some really fun scenes, some good action. But honestly it was a boring read for me, I found myself skipping a few pages to get to the ending quicker.
The fight with Gaia was a bit boring to read tbh. The build up was ok but the actual fight wasn’t as cool as the hype for it. The conclusion was also alright-ish.
But I have to admit I liked SoN and HoH. I still skipped stuff but It had the most amount of chapters that I liked than any other HoO book.
Send me pjo unpopular opinions

I managed, dont know how, to achieve to finally see the 12th season of Doctor Who completly.
Unpopular opinion, I know, but hey. I LOVED THIS DOCTOR.
Not because this a girl, not because gnagna feminism or gnagna new thing.
No. She was the Doctor. Like all the previous actors, in all her play, her sweet madness, the way she talked to herself like 9th and 10th, her courage, her well chosen words, her interaction with this very particular Master we had :0
(Thats the only different point imo to have a girl regeneration : the interactions with the Master won another dimension, so tense ! And with Jack of course, lot of humour even if he didnt achieve to see her xD)
Well. I really liked the final and revelations. Maybe im a sweet potato, cause i.must admit it was written and easy to see from the beginning but... no. Really that was very good ! ;w; 💕
I liked this Doctor as the previous, no less, no more. This was refreshing, lot of questions, lot of answers and entertaining.
I dont know why ppl are constantly angry about new Doctors. They really didnt get the point of the serie....:(
Im.less a fan of Yaz and the crew but this is not the actors game. They are all good. This is maybe because they are 3 so less time to developp each of them.
Im so hyped for the next season and the new Doctor to come !! I will regret my blondie Doctor as I cried for all the others ;w;
