Tommorow...my family dog of 17 years is being put down due to poor health. We had planned to do it later on this month, but...it's gotten so bad over the past few days to the point where he can no longer walk that...we can't bear to see him in pain anymore.

So I decided to finally try out Master Duel (I blame @enterpainment for being a big enabler) during my downtime in between my school stuff and got decks themed to my girls Yuzu and Rin (Aka Melodious & Windwitch) so far with the goal of making decks for all the bracelet girls eventually (So Lunalight & Lyrilusc for Serena & Ruri) in addition to a Yuya themed deck that I wanna do combining aspects of Anime Yuya, Zarc, and Manga Yuya.

Alright, everyone. I've updated some pages and my theme a bit to reflect some changes! The pages that were updated are below:

Rules (MInor Updates, Mainly relating to the Graphics section)

Muse Status List (A lot of muses were moved around, and some got moved to not currently active. So, please check this out!)

I always feel a bit guilty moving characters to not currently active or their status as less active than they were before, but I know it's something I need to do for me and you guys know I don't like forcing out writing if the muse or motivtion is just not there. I take great pride in my writing, and want it to be a fun experience for both parties. It's the same thing if we end up dropping thread we are not vibing with or an ask we can't answer. So, I thank you guys in advance for your understanding.

In addition, I start my Spring Semester on Monday. This means my activity is going to go back to its usual variability. I apologize for any and all delays in responding to anything in or out of character. It's nothing personal. I just know I can get very exhausted, and this semester I'm teaching in addition to my coursework and working on personal projects so no doubt it will probably be worse. I'm prioritizing my self-care and rest for sure, so no one needs to worry.

I should be able to send asks and answer DMs pretty normally, though. I do apologize if any asks gets nomed by Tumblr. It sometimes hates the good things I want to send you guys.

Thank you all again for the support, from friends new and old! I'm going to do my best with my studies, and with my stuff here! Hello friends. I am just coming in to let you all know how I'm holding up with the personal circumstances discussed in this post. I'm doing okay. Not perfect obviously, but I am doing better than I thought I'd be. I think that's because of all the support I've had from friends, family, classmates, and my boyfriend, in addition to giving myself the proper space I needed. They all have helped me through the complex processing of my emotions, and to everyone who left messages on my previous post or in my dms, thank you all. You are all so sweet and they truly warmed my heart.

As for me, I'm doing my best to take care of myself and do some fun things between still trying to be an adult and helping my family in what ways I can as this is all different for each person. So, I'll probably do some writing and or edits here (or on one of my blogs, like any of the muse sides on @vanguardsofcray which if you all wanna see me do more fun card game action, follow those sides. Need to make YGO verses for those guys too, actually).

This is a ship I feel has as much romantic as it does platonic appeal, and it's one I've been thinking about due to all the fanart (which a lot of it is cute and funny) I've seen while looking for Yugi things for my queue. Kaiba and Yugi did not get to interact as much after a certain point due to Atem taking that spotlight and becoming Kaiba's rival, but from what we know about their dynamic, they both would (especially post canon / post dsod) get along pretty well.

The biggest things they both have in common is a love of games and a hardworking attitude. They both are such nerds about gaming I cannot help but see them just essentially talking in their own language no one can understand. I also think they respect each other a lot, and we know Yugi has expressed interest in wanting to play games with Kaiba and getting to be his friend. He's also shown concern for Kaiba such as during Duelist Kingdom and has been pretty quick to forget the bad stuff he did too (but that merciful / forgiving nature of Yugi is such a key part of his character).

I think they have the potential to either be an adorable short king and tall king couple (with no doubt notes of co-worker romantic stuff due to at least manga wise them collaborating like in Takahashi's art he drew for a post DSOD idea) or gaming besties with enough time and development (mainly because any dynamic with Kaiba is gonna be developed slowly cause well it's Kaiba LOL).

I'd love to explore the dynamic either way with my Yugi, honestly. Curious how my Yugi's dynamic with Ani's Kaiba ( @shacchou ) will develop.

I feel the same way about this pairing that I do with Yusei with Jack or Crow. My interpretation is that Yusei sees all three members of Team Satisfaction as his brothers, and those, he has a strong familial bond with all three of them. That's why I think he is willing to give himself up for Kiryu by turning himself in aside from his selfless nature.

I 100% get the appeal as to why people would and do ship this pairing, especially due to the angsty nature and childhood friends parts of their dynamic,it just is not for me!

I was thinking back to these moments during this scene from Buddyfight 100 (AKA Season 2) episode 9 (When Tasuku confronts what he loathes most, his past mistakes) when I was writing Mokuba's response to the Kaiba Brothers Past Confrontation Thread I got with the lovely @shacchou The reason is that it touches on the same issue regarding one's past, and what Jack / Purgatory Knight has to say to Tasuku sorta addresses both Seto and Mokuba's points in that thread. And I thought, hey, let me throw some food for thought out there analyzing what I mean by that.

Seto doesn't like thinking of the past, seeing no value in it, when he's focused on his future. He sees it as something he wants to 'destroy' or 'erase'. He doesn't want the past to hold him back, despite the past having an impact on him even now. Mokuba, on the other hand, sees value in the past and wants to use it to guide his future. Though, he is shackled in a sense by his past due to wanting to go back to it when he knows deep down they never can. While it's understandable he'd want his brother to go back to the way he perceived him when he was younger, that is impossible to do. He's not the same guy anymore, and neither is Mokuba for that matter.

Both of them are not 100% right or 100% wrong in their views or feelings, just like how Tasuku felt during this episode. Things are rarely so straightforward when it comes to one's history or mindset. That's why talking about these things can be difficult, as the two have shown us in the thread so far.

The message Jack is trying to send is essentially, and one I think both these brothers need, is this combination of their two viewpoints: the past cannot be changed, and it cannot be returned to, and it should not prevent you from moving forward in the future. However, you should look back on the past as a source of strength rather than something to loathe, to become a stronger version of yourself in the present.

Jack should really drop his dragonic wisdom on these two brothers at some point shouldn't he?

So, my main rules won't change as a note just some added details to not as important sections), and my muse status (which will have some changes in terms of characters being moved around!).

I'll get to revamping my verses page another time (when I can find the time and motivation cause its gonna be ALOT) cause I know that's very outdated by this point and has things that need to be added.

Hello everyone. Neighborhood snom dottr here to give you an update!

Sorry for the lack of posting on most of my blogs (though I have done some posting on my Vanguard Hub blogs but not much) as of late. I've been struggling with not only lack of inspiration generally speaking for most of my muses, but also just general fatigue considering I am overwhelmed and exhausted most of the time due to my doctoral studies ontop of prioritizing self-care and taking care of myself.

I don't see my general fatigue getting any better (probably worse) as my program goes on, so all my blogs will probably stay on low activity as they have been.

I apologize to anyone who is waiting on things from me or wants to interact. I want to try to get back into things slowly (been trying to do some plotting with mutuals), but it's been hard to sit down and write something I'm happy with most days. Don't want to force it, you know?
