Accidentally called them ‘mum’ once, neither him nor reader mention it (simply just out of not wanting to embarrass him or because reader doesn’t want to push him away without meaning to). You were only a few years older (at most) than your peers. Hell, a bit younger in some of the cases (cough cough Peter B cough cough), but everyone knew you.

You were the mom friend. The chaperone, the babysitter.

But you couldn't help it, your motherly nature was just so deep into your personality that the two could not be separated. It kind of was the reason why you didn't have many friends outside the Society, most people deemed you too "overbearing" or y'know. Motherly. You'd step in before any "fun" or crazy stuff happened.

You were there to console the others when something happened, when someone was upset, or hell, was just lonely. You were there for them when they needed that gentle hand, or a hug, or a nap in your lap.

Your balanced nature was often why Miguel would pair you with Hobie, or Ben Reilly, to bring them a bit of stability (and to stop Ben from lamenting about his backstory or talking about his muscles for five minutes).

On one mission in particular, Hobie had actually slipped up, and in front of Ben, Peter, and Pavitr and Gwen, he called you "Mum" over the comms. He quickly sputtered and tried to backpedal, but the grin that erupted on your face had already fixed itself there.

You pretended you didn't hear it however, that you weren't paying attention to your comm.

Ben and the others? Never. Let. Him live. It down.

They even gave Hobie things to give to you on Mother's Day for extra effect.

But today? Today, Hobie showed up in your universe, soaked to the bone, his wicks soggy and shoes filled with water.

"Got stuck in the rain, lost the key to my flat, and I don't feel like crashing at HQ because of the Old Man. Can I--"

You chuckled and stepped aside, "Come on, Hobie. You look like a drowned poodle."

"Oi, you havin' a dig at my wicks?" He frowned, walking past you and into your warm, cozy apartment.

"Yep!" You grin, walking over to your linen closet and grabbing some towels, handing them to him.

"Go into the bathroom and get dried off, I might have some clothes that'll fit you. Pajamas at any rate." You hum, walking into your room to rummage through your dressers for something that might fit his tall, lithe frame.

He mumbled a thanks and trudges into the bathroom, his shoes making a depressingly loud squishing noise with every step.

You giggle to yourself and pull out some red plaid pajama pants, and one of your oversized novelty t-shirts.

They should fit.

You knock on the bathroom door and Hobie pokes his head out. He takes the clothes from you when you hand them to him and quickly ducks back to change.

And when he comes out you practically squee.

"Awww! You look so cozy!" You snicker.

"Ohhhhh stuff it." Hobie mumbles, dropping onto your couch and crossing his arms, towel still draped over his head.

"Now Hobie..." You tsk, draping your fluffy, heated blanket over his shoulders, which he automatically snuggles into on sheer instinct alone.

"Is that any way to talk to your mum?"

"Oi! It was one time!" Hobie retorted, trying to cover the blush rising in his cheeks.

"Leave off it, will ya?!"

You grin and grab a tin of sweets, and grab his hand, placing them in his palm.

His eyes get big. His favorite candies; he found them once in your universe, got hooked, and apparently yours was the only one that had them.

You had a shit-eating grin on your face as he popped the candies in his mouth.

"Nahhhh. I'm not gonna. Not when you look like a little kid all snuggled up under that fluffy blanket."

"Hey! Who d'you think you are, eh?" He said, trying to sound miffed, but failing as the warmth from the blanket seeps into his cold body, relaxing into the soft cushions of your couch.

"Oh, me?" You hum, grabbing his wet clothes to be washed.

"I'm the Spider-Mom. Didn't you know that?"

The rich kid, the class clown, the golden retriever, and the guy with barely surviving grades. No one ever sees him studying and that explains a lot. He's part of the basketball varsity team and is very active in sports activities though! So that's something. He's such a social butterfly that someone would mention a name once and he'd immediately be like "Oh! Them? I know them! I met them once dur-"

He lets his friends borrow money from him and also loves buying stuff for them and hence, receiving the title: The Bank. Though sometimes the "borrowing of money" gets out of hand and even others borrow from him and then forgets to pay him back 🤷‍♀️

That kid who played with bugs. A lot. He's a good funny guy who gets along with almost everyone (some say he's the "real class clown" 🤷‍♀️).

He tries at school sometimes. Enough that he doesn't have to repeat the year. He isn't aware there's an assignment or when deadlines have been moved most of the time. "What do you mean there's an assignment?" "The deadline's been moved to next week? But I crammed this all night :("

Quite popular for being the "student who always goes to other classrooms" even though classroom hopping is prohibited (he got caught once or twice). He's the only one who isn't classmates with anyone from his friend group :') He has ok grades and is a reliable person during group projects.

The sassy girlboss who ALWAYS GOTTA BE WALKING AROUND. You will always see this woman walking around the school. She knows all the secret hangout spots and has caught a questionable amount of couples going on their little dates.

‹ 🎸 › Hobie Brown As a Caregiver

🎀 : As much as I don't like to post after I already posted recently, I couldn't pass a hobie headcanon. Thank you for asking anon! Hope you enjoy :] ✨

🎸 : unlike Miles and Pravitr he's completely a rebellious caregiver. Bedtimes? Nah, rules? Not unless you really need them, and he encourages you to get in a little of his shenanigans here and there

🎸 : he often gets his ear torn off by the others about how he takes care of you

🧸 : he has a hard time directly comforting when you need it. He's not around it alot and since you're in a vulnerable state he has to find his own ways to help you

🧸 : even if it's just a pat on the shoulder or telling you you're fine

☕ : He's not the one to use petnames. At first he didn't use them at all or kept forgetting, but slowly began calling you them now and again

☕ : punk/bugger/kid/rebellion/little dude is his usual petnames for you

☕ : he's not that affectionate either, though that doesn't mean he doesn't like a good cuddle or hug sometimes. In fact he finds it comforting, but he won't admit it

🎸 : out of all the spider people, he is the most active when it came taking you places and getting you out of the house. Pravitr loves Taking you places like parks, sure. But what about carnivals, pools, hiking and concerts? Hobie is your guy for that stuff

🎸 : "Hey, little dude, how about instead of sleeping we skip to go to a concert? I heard they're selling cotton candy!~"

☕ : he might've snuck you out of the house several times during his times of taking care of you— even if he gets an earful from Miguel or Gwen the most at the end

🎸 : if he upsets you in any way, he'd just write letters to you and give them to you full of apologies. Usually containing: horrible drawings (don't worry he tried his best), him writing sentences on sentences of him being sorry, and just sappy things

🎸 : he apologizes like you're about to bite him for it

☕ : "They asked for no pickles.."

🎸 : he'll never admit it, but he can get jealous whenever you're being babysat with someone else that isn't him. like.. so jealous he'd tear up

🎸 : don't worry though, a simple hug or you just being yourself around him makes him feel instantly better

☕ : "back off, man, they're just a kid."

🎸 : not overprotective but protective enough to tell others to back off if you're overwhelmed. If Miguel expects you to do a heavy job Hobie will do it instead instantly.. maybe scold Miguel a bit in the process

🧸 : If you happen to fall asleep that isn't in your bed, he'd carry you "bridal pose" or pick you up by your armpits and make sure you're covered up and comfortable in your room. Don't worry he'll let you have your sleep. Afterall a little one like you needs it

‹ 🎸 › Mini fic of CG!Hobie — "You're too little for that"

🧸 : for all little ages! This is just hobie babying you

hobie studied you from across the room, seeing you quietly make cupcakes for the others. No special occasion but you thought it would be nice thing to do Afterall. Lately you've been secretly Regressing, feeling bad for it you kept it to yourself. Hobie started to catch on but you'd quickly denied it or do something that made him forget about your behavior change. It worked for a few days but hobie knew you a bit too well. He's been your caregiver for about two months so there wasn't going around it. Not now or anytime soon. Before you know it you slipped completely. you try to grasp the little parts you have left to stay big, but it was too late. Hobie raised an eyebrow, catching on what happened. Even though in your regressed state, you continue to make the cupcakes. You weren't even half done.. and this was harder than it looked. You grabbed the ingredients and put it inside the blender, about to turn it on before a soft hand cupped yours, stopping you in your tracks. You looked up to see Hobie, who had a curious look on his face. It was almost unreadable but you can tell he was more confused than anything.. maybe just his neutral expression? He just tilted his head at you before he let out a soft chuckle. "Hey, hey how.. c'mon, kid.. you aren't getting past me with that 'oh I'm a big kid' bullcrap.. you're too little to bake by yourself. Here, let me help you..”

Basically Eddie hates her cause he thinks she's shallow and a bit spoiled sometimes but she ADORES Eddie. I'm just asking for that one scene where Jackie tries to make Hyde jealous by bringing this guy and Hyde is like "it's... cool" but deep down he's jealous and he's like "pull yourself together man" to himself. And the guy she brings is calling her a bitch and stuff and Hyde is like "oh no" and punches him. Then he's like just in denial about liking her then everyone tells him he likes her and he just comes to his senses.

✧.* summary — Eddie had a back foot when it came to you, some disagreements between you made him think that you were spoiled and that you thought too much of yourself. However, that wasn't going to stop him from defending your name.

"Eddie man you're not making any sense, right now." Warren says, sipping some of his beer. "She's great, everybody likes her…."

"Yeah man, Warren is right." Graham continues, receiving from Roundtree just an eye roll. "Tell me, what's the reason you don't like her? The real reason."

"She's just annoying, you think she's cool because you're not the ones who have to listen to her guesses on your stuff!" Eddie settles back in his chair, taking a long drag on his cigarette.

"Can't get you bro, sorry to tell you that." Warren shrugs as he takes out a cigarette to smoke. "Not to mention she likes you man, she enjoys your company."

"I just answered your question!" He shrugs. "It's not that I don't like her at all, I just think she sticks her nose in a lot."

"That looks like passion, huh." Graham says with a smirk on his face, Roundtree grabs the nearest pillow and throws it at the younger Dunne.

Graham's words left Roundtree thoughtful, after all this would never have been a possibility for him, you were always so irritating, so intrusive in his point of view that to suggest that he's in love with you was almost absurd. You would never have done anything to anger Roundtree for harm, but your way of helping was considered invasive in his view, apparently.

You adored him, you always had a lot of admiration for him since you were a small band in Pittsburgh and knowing the incredible potential he had you always encouraged him and gave him advice to improve and be better. It wasn't a secret to anyone, after all you never wanted to hide it, that you admired him a lot, and your friends already knew that you liked him in a way more than just admiration.

However, in the last few days you've noticed that he avoids you, that your presence and your comments make him roll his eyes and "snort" with irritation, you don't understand why and what you could have done to trigger this type of reaction. You then decided to have a frank conversation with him, trying to understand what could have happened, but for a change you always missed each other at the house, or rather... He always avoided you at the house.

Hate was not the word that would define Eddie's feelings for you, perhaps the ideal would be bother. There was something about you that moved him, that made him think, question, and consequently bothered. He knew you were very talented, from the day you got in band he knew you were a point to take off from, that you would always grow in there, but from the moment you started to give him too many tips and advice he got extremely bothered. His view began to change about you, he knew that any time you communicated with him it would be you giving a tip on his solos, or anything else related to the way he played.

As he was leaving his room one day, you caught him in the hallway. "Hey Eddie, can we talk for a bit?" you asked.

He raised an eyebrow. "What smarty pants, you want to tell me how to play my guitar again?"

You dropped your gaze, fidgeting with the rings on your hand. "No, I just wanted to know if you're coming to Cami's party tonight."

"Why do you care?" Eddie asked, crossing his arms.

"Well, Warren will be late and Graham and Karen already left," you explained. "I thought maybe we could go together."

Eddie chuckled wryly. "You and me? Yeah, that's a great idea," he said sarcastically. "Sorry, I'll pass. See you later."

He leaves towards his room leaving you with a tightness in your chest as you watch him leave, the frustration is suddenly replaced by an impulse of anger. You got to the phone and dial the number of the man from the record company who has been hitting on you lately. He answers on the second ring.

"Hi, is this Jay's number?" You say after you hear a noise on the line.

"Hey, Y/N! What's up?" he says.

"Hey, I was wondering if you're free tonight," you say, twirling a lock of hair around your finger.

"Of course, for you, always," he says, his voice dripping with charm.

"I'm going to Cami's party, and I don't want to go alone. Do you want to come with me?" you ask, your heart beating faster as you wait for his answer.

"Absolutely. I've been wanting to spend more time with you," he says, and you can hear the smile in his voice.

"Great, I'll pick you up at 9?" you say, already starting to plan your outfit.

"Sounds perfect. I'll be ready," he says.

You hang up the phone, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. You've never really considered him in that way, but he's always been sweet and attentive to you. Maybe tonight is the night to give him a chance. That was what you tried to convince yourself of, but deep down you knew that your desire was to make Roundtree jealous, to play games and see if he really didn't care about you.

…

Later that night, you arrive at the party with him by your side. The house is beautifully decorated with fairy lights and balloons, and the music is already thumping.

You spot Cami and a group of friends by the drinks table and head over to say hi. As you chat with them, you can't help but feel a bit disappointed that Eddie isn't here yet, but you try to push those thoughts away. Deep down you expected him to show up at your bedroom door, telling you that he changed his mind and that he would love to go with you to the party, but obviously that didn't happen, and there you were feeling ridiculous to think he could consider you even once.

"Honey, are you alright?" Karen whispers in your ear, noticing you distant.

"Yes, of course." You lie, forcing a smile. Karen raises her eyebrows noting how sincere you weren't being "I just need to get some air." You say walking away, letting your companion know you wanted some air.

Eddie caught sight of you and Jay a few moments before you left. He hadn't taken his eyes off you since he arrived, intrigued by your company, he sees you walking away for a smoke- he guessed, and his eyes narrowed for a moment before he composed himself. He walked over to you with a nonchalant expression, but you could see the tension in his shoulders.

"Hey, Smarty Pants. Looks like you found yourself a date," he said, gesturing to Jay.

You feel a pang of annoyance at his comment. "I couldn't come alone," you reply coolly.

"Well, I'm glad you found someone," he says, offering you a cigarette. You accept, and he lights it for you before turning to go back to the rest of the band.

As he walks away, you can't help but feel a twinge of regret. Maybe you shouldn't have come to the party with Jay after all. But you shake your head, trying to clear your thoughts.

"Look if it's not my favorite bassist." Rojas says approaching you, he was clearly stoned. "Why are you here looking like a stray dog? Let's have fun! Come with me."

You laugh at his state, and follow him to the "dance floor", Warren distracted you for so long that you didn't notice that Eddie approached Jay a few minutes ago.

"Look who it is," Eddie said as he approached Jay and sat down beside him. "My replacement for the night."

"What man?" Jay asks without understanding Roundtree's speech.

"Nevermind." Eddie says crossing his arms. "So you and Y/N, uh? What's the deal man, I mean…"

Jay shrugged. "She's hot, man. I've had a thing for her since the first day she appeared at the label. Okay, her conversations are very boring and I almost fall asleep when she opens her mouth but."

Eddie laughs at the comment, interrupting him. "Ah, it's not like that either, sometimes she's a little too much but with time you get used to it."

"But I won't have to learn to deal with her either." He shrugs and Eddie frowns. "I just want to get into her pants anyway. I've been crazy to fuck her ever since we first met."

"Are you fucking serious?" Eddie's voice was low, full of hate.

Jay just shrugs. "She's hot, and you must know that when a man has his needs he does it his way. What's the big deal?"

Eddie's face contorted with anger. "The big deal is that she's not just some piece of meat, you fucking asshole. She's a person with feelings, and you're treating her like she's nothing."

Jay rolls his eyes. "Relax, man. I was just joking around."

"It's not a joke," Eddie snaps. "And I don't want to hear you talk about her like that ever again."

Jay smirks again. "Or what?"

As you dance with Warren, you notice Eddie and Jay sitting in the backyard together. You can't hear what they're saying, but their body language is tense. Suddenly, Eddie stands up, looking furious, and says something to Jay that makes him laugh.

"What's going on over there?" Rojas asks, nodding in their direction.

"I don't know," you reply, feeling a sense of unease. "I'll go see what it is."

"Hey hey niña, it seems to be getting ugly." Rojas stands in front of you, preventing you from going. "Stay here."

Eddie's eyes flash with rage, and he lunges forward, punching Jay in the face. Jay falls back onto the grass, and the two of them start fighting, rolling around on the ground and throwing punches.

"Warren!" You exclaim running towards the two, little by little the whole party saw the scene and were watching from afar.

Billy separates the fight and Eddie gets up, dusting himself off. He turns to Jay, who's still lying on the ground with a bruised face.

"I hope you got the message, asshole," Eddie says, his voice cold and dangerous.

Jay scrambles to his feet, holding his nose which is bleeding now, and runs away from the party, while the other guests disperse, muttering to themselves. Eddie walks away, heading into the house to clear his head and calm down. He still didn't understand the reason for his sudden outburst, but he wasn't going to let anyone talk about you that way!

You go towards him, finding him in Billy and Camila's room, you decide to go to the kitchen first to get some ice for his hand. When you return, you knock three times on the door calling the blonde's attention. He smiles weakly at you, and soon you walk in and sit next to him.

You rush over to Eddie, who's holding his injured hand. "Are you okay?" you ask, concern etched on your face.

"I'll live," he replies, wincing as you gently examine his hand.

"What the fuck happened out there?" You asked, putting the ice on his hand. "You shouldn't have done that," you say softly, shaking your head.

"He deserved it," Eddie says, his eyes burning with anger. "I won't let anyone talk about you like that."

You look up at him, surprised by his words. "What do you mean?" you ask, curious.

"I mean, he was objectifying you like you were just some kind of toy," Eddie says, his voice softer now. "You're more than that, Y/N. You deserve better and that prick was overcoming all the boundaries."

"Let me see that hand," you say, taking his hand gently and examining the wound. You drag him to the bathroom, clean it up as best as you can with a tissue, and he winces at the sting of the alcohol.

Eddie doesn't take his eyes off you for a second, and you feel his gaze on you. "You're confusing you know?"

"What?" He says, being taken aback by you.

"I genuinely thought you hated me." You laugh, looking him in the eyes. "But now I don't know what to think anymore."

"I don't know how to explain what I feel for you smarty pants." Eddie whispers, getting closer to you. "I just know I wasn't going to let that bastard talk about you like that and pass it off."

"Thank you, you didn't have to do that..." You say turning your focus back to his wound. "How are you going to play now huh grumpy?"

"I have no idea." He says laughing. "I think this would be a good opportunity to take a day off."

You nod, thinking that would be the end of it, but he opens his mouth to speak and gives up multiple times.

"Just say it already." You chuckle.

"I was just thinking that maybe I could, like, I don't know..." He looks nervous, and you stop touching his hand to give him your full attention. He takes a deep breath. "That maybe, you know... Do you want to spend this day with me?"

You are taken aback, a smile spreads across your face. "Wow, let me get this straight. Is Eddie Demetrius Roundtree asking me out?"

He laughs sheepishly, running his free hand through his hair. "Yes, I'm asking you out Y/N L/N"

"Friday at 3pm." You say finishing the bandage. "I'll wait for you in my room."

You walk out of there leaving him with a silly smile on his face. Hitting someone had never been so worth it. And he looked forward to seeing what this new thing would lead to.

"A date on Friday, huh?" Warren's voice catches him by surprise. "I thought she was annoying."

"Were you spying on us?" Eddie says with raised eyebrows.

"Spying is a strong word, I just passed by and ended up listening to you guys" Rojas winks, and Eddie rolls his eyes.

Warren Rojas: I was definitely spying on them.

I was sitting around and thinking while relaxing after a very painful bike ride, what are the ghouls favorite snacks? Who gets the midnight munchies the most and raids the fridge the most often?

I hope you've recovered from your bike ride and that you had fun while on it! I actually had a bit of a struggle with this ask because I've never realised how little variety there is in what I eat until I'm trying to think of different foods.

Here are my thoughts on what the ghouls' favourite snacks are and their late-night eating habits.

Dew loves spicy snacks. The spicier the better. If it is crunchy it makes it even better. Things like spicy crisps and rice crackers are a staple in his diet. He happily will eat those crisps that are spicy challenges with zero issues. He hoards snacks in his room and will get up in the middle of the night to eat something from his hoard in bed. His sheets are always coated in crumbs and spicy powder so all the other ghouls refuse to sleep in his room. Nobody wants to wake up to chilli dust in their eyes.

Mountain always snacks on fresh stuff. When he’s working on the abbey grounds, he will often pluck a few berries off a bush to have if he gets hungry. He eats those big tomatoes like an apple while walking through the grounds and all the other ghouls despise it. Mountain definitely eats the healthiest out of any of the ghouls as most of his diet is the fresh produce he grows. Mountain isn’t a night snacker at all. When he sleeps, he tends to stay asleep until the dawn breaks in the morning.

Rain will eat basically anything salty. Pretzels, crisps, nuts, he will eat basically anything as long as it’s got enough salt to kill a slug. Sometimes he will even eat salt straight from the grinder (he gets in trouble whenever he gets caught). Rain also likes jerky. He likes the really low-grade stuff that’s like chewing an old boot because the act of chewing soothes him. He is often caught raiding the cupboards at midnight. They have had to put locks on all the snack cupboards because Rain would regularly empty the cupboards overnight and the food bill was getting too high.

Swiss always eats the weirdest snacks. He’s the sort of ghoul who will just pick two random items from the cupboards and eat them together for fun. It disgusts everyone else. Some notable combinations are: Cheetos in milk; cheese and jam on toast and one notable occasion where he dipped broccoli in biscoff spread. He will always try to convince the others to try the combinations but they never do. He once managed to convince Phantom to try a combination and it made the younger ghoul sick for days afterwards. Swiss only seems to eat normal snacks when he’s up at midnight, in which he will just eat whatever the other ghoul he is up with is eating.

Cirrus is a big fan of sour foods. She’s not the biggest snacker, but when she does it's always on things like Greek yoghurt and pickles, separate not combined (she’s not a monster like Swiss). She adores those sour sweets that they make you sign a waiver for before you eat them and can easily eat multiple packs in one sitting. Copia had to put a limit on how many packs she was allowed in a month because it really can’t be healthy eating that many at once. Cirrus is not a night snacker at all and would rather stay in bed hungry than get up to snack.

Cumulus has a massive sweet tooth. Whenever she snacks it's always something sweet like cakes or biscuits. She enjoys baking too so there’s always a constant supply of baked goods in the abbey between tours. She makes all sorts, from pies and pastries to cookies and cakes, and she always has to be the first to try them when they come out of the oven. All the other ghouls and Papa love her cooking and put in requests for what she will bake next. She very rarely gets up to snack at night, but when she does, she will always choose to eat the fresh berries from the fridge instead of what she would usually snack on.

Both Aurora and Phantom are still relatively new to the surface and are still figuring out what sort of snacks they like. They are, however, using very different methods to figure it out.

Aurora will try anything she’s offered and usually likes them all. She sidles up to anyone who’s eating and will sit there pouting until they offer her a bite. She likes Rain’s salty snacks and Cumulus’ sweet treats but despises Dew’s spicy foods. When Dew let her try one of his crisps, she sulked for a week after because the spiciness had hurt her mouth.

Phantom is a lot more cautious with what he tries. The others all constantly try to offer him things and he just turns his nose up at them. When someone does manage to convince him to try something he usually spits it out in disgust almost instantly. The only things that he has enjoyed so far were the little zoo biscuits cumulus had offered him, and the slices of cucumber Mountain had given him when they were in the gardens together. He also often accompanies Swiss on his kitchen runs during the night (where Swiss always manages to get him to try some horrid food mix).

Lowkey [highkey] gave up on the clothing wrinkles on the arms, but I still like how it turned out I think. I don't have much on him in terms of rewrite, but I do have some, so I'll dump it all here under the cut.

I swear I love asks, please feel free to say/ask whatever, I'm just horrible at answering in a reasonable time-frame because I always want to make it this beautiful masterpiece and end up turning all of them into full-on posts- or, at least I want to ~_~

Headcanonssss-

Ash gave him that button off her jacket [probably needs to be resized I'm realizing lol] [also I totally adopted this headcanon from someone elses post- might've been yours. Whoever came up with it I love it <3]

Born during the reformation that happened after the war- basically, nobody was really fighting anymore during this time, but some big people in power were still being stupid [aka: not letting their prisoners go]

So that would be somewhere around 1947? Which would put his age at 61 in my universe [which is in 2008- the times are pretty much random, nothing really lines up irl. Ignore how they use tech and other things that shouldn't have been invented yet lol]

He grew up when the Skunk Dolls were new and popular and stuff. And he loved them- so much that the band actually kinda inspired his music career

[Skunk Dolls also made loads of protest songs btw. War stuff]

Takes a ridiculous amount of care with his mane, and if he lets you touch it, that's a true sign of trust

So the Piglets always like to play with it, and Ash has given him braids a few times

He's had that scruffy red jacket since his early days

I should draw patches on it-

Ash probably'll give him a quill or two to put in it too with all the patches and repair stitches

He wears a lot of plaid, I just didn't wanna draw it <3

Rough and torn up clothes too

Everything he owns has some sort of smudge or tear in it from motorbiking and/or just being himself <3

His ears are pierced in almost every way imaginable, and when Ash found out, she went CRAZY

Cue her getting him to try on a bunch of stuff

He likes wrought iron jewelry and has never been a fan of anything with gemstones in it

Buster is terrified of him, but Clay is just kinda a blunt person and it doesn't mix well with Buster sometimes. They get along eventually tho. There was also some really bad timing with the circumstances of how they even met in the first place too lol-

Johnny is also. Super terrified.

Buster and him are like "Ahhh.... that guy scares the living daylights out of me." "Ohh, thank god it's not just me-"

He has a strange out-of-pocket interest in astrology.

And in herbology and plants in general, but he picked that up from Ruby. Astrology was all his, and it is the one thing he will "nerd out" over

Also the kind of guy to make fun of you for nerding out too

Making fun of people is his love language

So is giving people food

He's not great with his words and can find it hard to express love by just telling someone. Back to the bluntness thing, you can often find him accidentally offending someone and he doesn't even realize it

The troupe very quickly learned this and it's more of an endearing trait of his to them [and to most people who know him]

REALLY good cook. Fantastic, in fact. Probably one of the best chefs out of any of the characters.

Learned the hard way that enlisting Buster's help in the kitchen is a bad idea. Also Ash isn't great either, but he actually tries to teach her some of his recipes. And she's quickly improving

Buster was just being an idiot and forgot you shouldn't microwave tinfoil

Clay travels a lot, but spends most of his time in Calatonia [he technically still lives at his and Ruby's house, but he's super scared of accidentally closing himself off again, so he only visits to check up on the flowers and maintain the property pretty much]

He's like Ash's second [and very cool] dad. Which- also intimidates Buster quite a bit :D

I feel like their dynamic could be a sitcom. Clay is Ash's awesome dad and Buster is Ash's lame [endearing] and oddly unhinged and anxious dad who feels like he has to be as cool as Clay [and always fails heehee]

Clay is more entertained by Buster's ridiculous criminal record than horrified and I don't know if that's worrying or just a classic Calloway W

He's a very nonchalant person

Ruby's death is the only time I can really think he had a legitimate emotional break that wasn't just him being snappy [which is also pretty rare]

Clay's also like an uncle to the Piglets

He's kinda just taken up the role of "super awesome miscellaneous family member" for everyone at this point

He's back performing again after Sing 2- just not frequently or putting out any new songs [on his own at least- he might do a collaboration or two with Ash]

Adam Learns Feminism (Hazbin x OC Drabble)

Summary: Avaline tries to help great grampy Adam unpack his misogyny. Familial, not a Romance Ship. Adam x Granddaughter!OC.

Avaline slammed a stack of books down on the table in front of Adam.

"The hell are these?" He asked, his voice muffled with food.

"Since you seem to forget what it's like to be human, I thought I'd give you a refresher," replied Avaline perkily.

Adam grabbed the book on top and read the title out loud.

"The Feminine Mystique. What's so mystique about women? I had that shit figured out ages ago!" Boasted the fallen angel.

"Aw yes, cuz women love being called the b word," the blonde human retorted with a roll of her eyes. She remembered the times he'd stop by her mom's workplace and scared off her female coworkers. All except one but they all didn't like her, Adam included.

"Anyways I took it upon myself to teach you how to understand our gender better. So you won't go around calling random strangers names, and respect women's boundaries."

"Please, as someone who lived thousands of years I don't need to relearn stuff I already know," huffed the First Man.

"Besides the ladies love me. You should've seen me back in the day they were crawling all over me and LOVING IT!"

"Says the guy who got divorced twice and has a pick me for a girlfriend," snarked Evan as she walked past them towards the fridge. She ignored Adam's indignant cry and opened up the fridge, only to groan miserably when she didn't find what she was hoping for.

"Hey who ate up the lamb chops!"

She looked at the table and saw bones on Adam's plate.

"Should've ate them when you had the chance," he tsked. As if to rub it in he started to gnaw on the bone with the most meat.

Evan's eyes narrowed. "Fat ass!"

"You make it sound like it belongs to you did it have your name on it?" Adam grinned.

Evan huffed and went arouns fir more food. She grabbed a couple luscious green apples, still arguing with Adam over the ownership of the leftovers.

"Y'all stop," Ava sighed as she took a seat beside Adam. "I'm tryin to help him be more conscious,"

"Good luck with that," said Evan. "The old bastard is so set in his ways, it'll probably take till the final judgement to get him to change his mind."

Adam felt insulted. "Hey are you trying to say I'm unable to change?!"

"I mean you said the same thing about Charlie and look how THAT turned out," Evan replied, gesturing to the Sinner's lackluster appearance.

"I take great offence to your statement!" Adam shot back.

Ava sighed again. No wonder Abel left, she said to herself. "Look it's not going to take all day, we'll start with reading a few chapters each week, then increase as we go along," Ava explained.

"Y'all have fun," she waved goodbye and left the kitchen.

"But grampy you have to learn go be mores respectful to women if you want to have a better chance at keeping them," Ava pointed out.

"Now we can keep arguing and lose progress or..." She left that statement unfinished

"Or?" Adam challenged.

"Or I'm telling Grandma Cass you ate the rest of her pork chops." Ava pointed at the empty plate.

Fear struck Adam in the chest. He hated the old bat. He'd rather marry the gremlin who stabbed him than spend a single minute with the elderly fool.

But since Cass was the mother of his granddaughter Flora, and the only other person willing to house him on Earth, he had no choice but to respect her.

He grumbled, cursing the feminist mystery and uppity teenagers. Great now his afternoon would be taken up by modern day bullshit!

Ava showed him a few chapters and read them out loud. The whole time Adam sitting with his head in his hand bored out of his mind.

The Feminarchy Mystic, whatever it's called, was an beloved book by human standards, and a stale one by his standard. Ava said its significance is why she decided to start with it first.

After an hour Avaline decided it was time to end the session.

"Alright class let's see what we've got." Adam pushed his paper to show her what he had written.

"I'M SORRY WOMAN." scribbled in hasty, near ineligible mess. The rest of the paper were childlike doodles Adam drew of himself, and strangling Lucifer with lilith and eve cheering him from the background

Ava's mouth twisted in an awkward smile. "It's a start."

Greetings beings of Rotomblr. My name is Alwin, and it’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance!

I’m I was a Wyverian from Rutoh Village in Alcala region. My age is almost three centuries old, if I recall correctly. Not that my age matters. My pronouns are he/him.

I’ve been in this world for some time, almost a century and a half. Enough time so that I’ve watched my chosen’s descendants come and go. I don’t know why Arceus took me from my own home (and my universe, if He is to be believed), or why He’s commanded me to be His right hand, but won’t disobey. It would be too much of a risk.

I have a few disciples, but I’m not willing to share any of their names currently.

Even after all this time, I still do not understand my other form. Since Arceus informed me that I am the only two-formed being from another universe in our universe, He gifted me this odd device. He told me that here I may communicate with people from other universe and ask for assistance without risk to my identity here.

I hope to speak with you all more personally soon! Perhaps you can help me with my situation.

Alwin comes from the universe of Monster Hunter. Themes of both human and animal?(/pokemon/monster/monstie) violence and death will all be present. It won’t be a main feature of the blog, unlike other tws here, but it is part of the “lore”.

There are also heavy religious themes, both Christian and otherwise. (Think Greek mythology.) If this makes you uncomfortable, this is not the blog for you. Alwin will constantly speak of being afraid of Arceus.
