--- RALEIGH had a lot to process in this place. in addition to having to cope with his own death, from his previous world, the young man was returned to life, struggling with his sexuality. he had never dated much, growing up, because he did not share the same interest in girls and women as his guy friends usually demonstrated. he could not relate to their desires to see ladies in bikinis on the beach. plus, he’d been a home body, and he preferred his video games over people. his people skills were reasonably good, thankfully, but... he could never admit to himself that he was, in fact, attracted to MEN, and not only was that okay, but it was great! it could allow him to be happy and to live out his authentic truth, without having to hide any longer. there was one man who had brought out this newfound desire in him: the desire to be OUT, and to celebrate his life with one man who made him accept who he was, for the first time in his life. “hey,” he greeted, giving his lover a peck on his lips, as he sat back, and chewed on his lower lip nervously. “i’m, um... i was thinking about asking you... if you’re ready to take our connection to the NEXT STEP?” he was nervous as all hell, but... he wanted to move forward with the guy he’d been hooking up with for a while. “i... really, really like you, and... i want to be with you. as long as you want the SAME THING, of course. i don’t wanna pressure you or anything.”
