Hi Elle! I know it's really late (it's waay past midnight here)... but I just realised something. And that gave me goosebumps...

When I was 13, I was sleeping in my room with my sisters. It was the dawn of Eid day. I suddenly woke up hearing something. A lady was singing while walking by the door of our room. I just saw her silhouette, and heard her voice. Her voice was so... soft, sweet... it almost sounded ethereal. Like it can tug your heartstrings. I couldn't quite make out what she was singing, as I wasn't fully awake. I just brushed it off, thinking it was mum and closed my eyes.

Moments later, I jumped up. I realised, my mother doesn't sing. And the lady (or the silhouette) was tall and lean, and had straight hair (mum has slightly kinky curls). Of course it couldn't be my dad... my sisters (11 and 6 years old, back then) were sound asleep beside me. There was no other person in our house. I just... 😶

9 years later

I was sitting alone in our living room. Recalling some horror stories me and my friends used to share in school. I was subconsciously singing "Noble Maiden Fair" from the movie "Brave". I suddenly stopped, because my voice was soft, sweet... otherworldly...

Just like the lady's I heard years ago.

Now I don't know what to feel or do. I had my fair share of paranormal experiences. But this...
