Found out about hermit pregnancy headcanons earlier and been obsessed all day. Hermits pregnancies lasting between seasons? Tail end of Season 9 Soup Group pregnancy, maybe.. Gem and Pearl both carrying for the group. They were just far enough along that they had started to show at the end of the Season, cute little bumps that their friends all congratulated them on. By the time Season 10 started up they had both progressed further, and the changes to the server made things... strange. No longer a graceful deer, Gem's bump firmed up with what were now sea-dragon eggs; Pearl's belly softening up as her fish-hybrid heritage means she's filled with roe now. Being in separate groups changes up the dynamic; Impulse and Gem are still in the same area, sure, and her new basemates are very flattering of her pregnancy. Conversely, Etho and Tango are awkward around Pearl, not really having any experience; they try to help out, but they lack a certain delicate nature. Impulse still cares for both of them, but being heavily electronic really doesn't help when both ladies are water based. They keep each other plenty company, though - Gem waddling along the shoreline while Pearl lazily swims alongside her, sharing conversation about their pregnancies. Gem's bump pressing tight against her dress while Pearl's pokes freely out of the water, completely different to how they expected to be months ago. Pearl supporting Gem's weight as they float in the middle of the river, pressing their bumps together, the gentle current soothing them both. They're both comfortable enough to help each other with... other needs, too, especially as the only members dealing with a cross-season pregnancy like this. It gives them a very personal, unique bond... and maybe they'll end up doing it again. - Anon 💕✨ (if that one isn't taken; this is my first post, but if people like stuff like this I'd be delighted to share more)

They're not sure if they would've preferred to stay put. It would've been easier, certainly. But it would have been a lot more boring. Just because they're pregnant doesn't mean they can sit around all the time - they'd go crazy! It's getting harder, but they're finding ways to work with the pregnancy instead of against it.

Pearl knows if she wants somebody to be delicate with her, Gem and Impulse are only a short ride away. Impulse dotes on them, he's adorable! They know he'd be all over them if he could, probably carrying them from place to place. Such a gentleman. Even now he's still running about constantly to get anything he thinks might be helpful.

As for Tango and Etho... Their awkwardness is beginning to grow on her. They're not who she imagined sharing so much of this with last season, but she's enjoying it. They're both so sweet. The fact they don't really know what they're doing just adds to that. The way she can make them blush with a simple joke about her pregnancy is priceless!
