1. 비오는 날은 역시 '달팽이의 하루' 이다. 이런 표현 조금 웃기지만, 나의 원픽 동요이자, 원픽 피아노 연주인- '보슬 보슬 비가 와요, 하늘에서 비가 내려요' 이런 예쁜 가사 나도 언젠가 써야지-! :)

2. 어제 레슨 끝나고 집에 돌아오는 지하철 안에서 hw오빠와 비슷한 사람을 보았다. 촌스러운 옷 스타일과 뒷모습마저 어찌나 똑같은지, 머리 크기까지도 말이다. 뒷모습만 봤다면 그로 착각했을 것이다. 그런데 웃긴 건 그가 갑자기 보고싶으면서 저 생전 처음 보는 남자가 좋아지는 거다. 좋아하지도 않는데 말이다, 그리고 그를 훨씬도 전에 잊었는데도. 그때 이런 생각이 들었다.

나는 그때의 나를 그리워 하는 걸까-

그때의 그의 모습을 그리워 하는 걸까-

그때의 나의 순수한 모습이 그리운 걸까-

사랑이 지금 내게 고픈 걸까-

무엇 하나라 콕 찝어서 말은 못하겠지만 저 4개가 다 해당되는 감정이 교차해서 들었던 거 같다. 문득 그가 보고싶으면서 낯선 사람이 좋아진다는 건 그렇게밖에 설명이 안 된다. 그게 사랑이라고 그를 좋아하게 됐다면 난 속은 거겠지? 추억을 사랑하되, 과거의 나를 사랑하진 말자-!!

3. 'My Story' - 브라운 아이드 소울

중학교 때 참 많이 들었던 노래다. 그때도 가사를 보긴 했는데 이제 와서 다시 들으며 보니 너무 놀랍다. 이런 가사와 표현을 쓸 수 있다는 게.. 너무 아름다운 우리의 한국어-!♥️ :)

아무튼 그런데 참 많은 생각을 가져다 주었다.

시간은, 세상은 나를 기다려주지 않는 다는 것. 그래서 후에 그걸 후회한다고 해도 그건 너무나 미련하고 바보같은 짓임을.. 그 노래 들으면서 뭐랄까 뼈저리게 느껴졌다. 그게 야속하고 호락호락하지 않지만 너무나 명백한 사실이다.

그리고 '지쳐버린 마음 열고서 그대만이 날 다시 웃게 해' 상처의 두려움을 '그'대만이 열게 한다고 한다. 다시 돌아갈 수 없는 그때를 계속 얘기하면서 저 가사가 반복된다. 과거를 후회하며 동시에 그를 노래한다. 내겐 그가 꼭 하나님 같았다. 물론 사랑하는 이가 되기도 하지만, 내게 있어 지금 그 벽을 넘게 하는 분은 오직 하나님이기 때문이다.

나얼의 애드립 'Never Nerver Go' 다시 돌아갈 수 없다. 그리고 시간은 절대 나를 기다려주지 않는다. 지금 내가 꿈 꾸는 건 대단히 어려운 일이다. 하지만 단순하게 생각하면 된다. 남들과 똑같이 살지 않으면 꿈은 이뤄진다.

확고한 목표. 그 하나만 보고 달려간다.

한류붐을 움직이고 있는것은 누구인가? -SM 김영민 사장 일본 TV 출연

우연히 찾아 보게 된 흥미로운 영상 하나가 있어 옮겨 본다.

  약3개월전에 올라온 것이니 작년 년말쯤 방송되었던 것 같다.

  ‘한류붐을 움직이고 있는것은 누구인가?’라는 타이틀로 방송된 예능 프로그램인데, 그 장본인이 출연한다고 하는 자막이 흘러나와

내심 궁금해 하며 보게 되었다.

    출연자는 SM 엔터테인먼트의 김영민 사장이었다.

  국내에서도 예능 프로그램에는 그 모습을 잘 나타내지 않아 개인적으로는 매우 생소한 얼굴이었다.

요즘 SBS에서 인기리에 방영되고 있는 K-pop Star인가에 JYP와 YG는 박진영과 양현석 사장이 직접 출연하는데, SM만은 사장이 아니고

보아가 출연하고 있어, SM은 사장이 TV 나오는 걸 싫어 하는가 보다라고 생각했는데, 일본 예능프로그램 출연 모습을 보니 약간 묘한 기분이 드는 것도 사실…

  반면에 김영민 사장은 어릴적 일본에서 살았다는 이야기를 하면서 유창한 일본어로 대담 프로그램에 참여하고 있다.

한류에 대해 그리고 한국에서의 특히 자신의 회사인 SM의 아이돌 양성 시스템에 대해 멋진 설명을 하고, 참석한 패널들의 감탄을 자아내기도 했다.

  맨 먼저 그들이 관심을 갖고 알고 싶어 하는 내용은 아이돌 육성 시스템에 관한 것이다.

일본의 아이돌 데뷔 시스템과는 확연히 차이가 나면서, 한국의 아이돌은 데뷔전 3~5년에 걸친 합숙소 생활과 노래, 춤, 외국어 실력까지

완벽히 갖추고 데뷔한다는 것에 신기해 하고 있다.

  데뷔 전 엄격한 합숙 트레이닝을 하고 있다.–  약 5년간의 트레이닝(노래, 춤, 외국어 교육)

  보아, 동방신기, 소내시대 등도 모두 이런 시스템에 육성되었다는 사실이 일본인들에게는 신기한 듯 하다.

특히 그런 시스템을 유지 하기 위해서 SM에서 투자 하는 금액이 일본 엔화로 2억엔~4억엔 정도 한다고 김사장은 설명하고 있다.

  년간 적어도 2억엔~4억엔 정도 회사에서 투자하고 있다

  참석한 패널중 한명은 한국에 여행 갔다가 스카웃 되어 한국 아이돌 시스템에 의한 합숙 트레이닝을 받았다고 한다.

6개월 활동에 그쳐 일본으로 돌아 왔다고 하나, 그가 한국에서 트레이닝 받았던 당시의 시간표를 공개 했다.

  6시 기상 -> 연습실로 이동

8시 전까지

9시까지 연습실 청소

오전에 보이스 트레이닝, 하늘 보며 노래하기, 점프, 달리면서 노래하기

12시에 점심

오후에는  보이스 트레이닝, 선배 가요 프로그램 체크, 노래 레슨, 춤 레슨

8시 저녁식사

저녁 식사 이후에 춤 레슨

11시에 연습실 청소

연습실 청소 이후 보이스 트레이닝, 하루 레슨 복습

새벽 2시 취침

      2번째 전략에 대한 설명…

한국의 아이돌은 처음부터 글로벌한 무대에 설 수 있도록 트레이닝을 시킨 다는 점.

소녀시대의 경우 멤버 안에 영어, 일본어, 중국어에 능통한 멤머를 참여, 세계 어떤 나라에 가더라도 활동하는데 지장이 없을 정도로

외국어 교육은 필수라고 한다.

  특히 트레이너 중에는 세계 각국의 현지인 전문가들이 참여하고 있어 같은 노래라도 그 나라에 맞게끔 홍보와 전략을 각각 세운다고 한다.

  예를 들어 소녀시대의 Gee의 뮤직 비디오도 한국판과 일본판을 따로 만들어서 런칭 했다고 한다.

옷색깔, 헤어 스타일, 안무, 스토리 등을 각국의 고유한 문화와 특색에 맞게끔 전략을 수립한다고 한다.

  또한 SM의 전략중 하나가 SNS를 이용한 동시 다발적 홍보 전략이다.

특히 유튜브를 이용한 뮤직 비디오는 사내 전산 전문가가 전문적으로 분석하고 있으며, 실시간 대응 전략 수립에 이용한다고 한다.

  예전 같으면 현지에 날아가서 TV에 출현하거나, 아니면 라디오에 노래를 흘려 보내기 위해 홍보를 하거나 하고, 그에 따른

고객(팬)들의 반응에 대해서 의견 수렴하는데도 많은 시간과 비용이 들었는데, 요즘은 유튜브와 스마트 폰의 확산에 힘입어

그다지 어렵지 않게, 그러면서 실시간으로 반응을 수집할 수 있다고 한다.

    지난해 파리에서 공연한 SM Town 공연 동영상이 유튜브를 통해 세계 각지에서 몇번이나 재생되고 있는지 분석하고 있다.

    아뭇튼 일본내에서의 한류 바람은 매우 거세게 불고 있는 것 만큼은 틀림 없는 것 같다.

섬나라에 갖혀 있는 일본으로서는 한국의 K-POP이 전세계 열풍을 불러오고 있는게 내심 부러우면서도 질투를 하고 있는 것 같다.

  그러긴 해도 이렇게 한국의 K-POP이 전세계로 뻗어 나갈수 밖에 없는 원인이 한국의 시장이 너무 작어서 그런다니 왠지 씁쓸하기도 합니다.

거꾸로 일본이 국내에서 머물고 있는 것은 한국 음악 시장의 20~30배나 되는 자체 시장이 존재하기 때문이라고 하니 부럽기도 하고…

  지난 주 SBS 스페셜에서 방영한 페루 소녀가 티아라 백 댄서가 되기 위해 노력하는 모습을 시청한 적이 있는데, K-POP의 열풍이

잠시 왔다 스쳐갈지, 오랜 기간 전세계 POP시장을 장악할 지는 모르겠지만, K-POP을 통해 전세계 청소년들의 상당 수는

한국어 가사를 그대로 따라 부를 정도로 한국어에 관심을 갖고 ���다니, 영어가 짧은 나로서는 한국어로 세계 여행을 하는데

불편함이 없었으면 하는 바램도 살짝 들었다.

Advanced / Lesson 22: -ㄴ/는데도

안녕하세요 여러분! This week’s lesson is about a very common grammar point: -ㄴ/는데도! Let’s start!

What is -는데도?

-는데도 is similar to -아/어/여도, but sounds a little stronger in my opinion. It is often translated as “despite,” “in spite,” or “regardless of.” Use this formula:

Present Tense:

[verb stem] + 는데도 = Despite [verb]

[adjective stem] + ㄴ데도 = Despite [adjective]

[noun] + 인데도 = Despite [noun]

Past Tense:

[verb/adjective stem] + 았/었/였는데도

[noun] + 였는데도

Examples

민지 씨는 변호사인데도 돈을 많이 벌지 않아요. = Despite being a lawyer, Minji doesn’t make a lot of money.

여러 번 말하는데도 제 말을 듣지 않아요. = Even though I tell her multiple times, she doesn’t listen.

공부 하나도 안 했는데도 시험을 잘 봤어요. = Despite the fact that I didn’t study at all, I did well on the test.

마크 씨는 한국 사람 아닌데도 한국어를 원어민처럼 해요. = Mark speaks Korean like a native even though he’s not Korean.

Intermediate / Lesson 37: -ㄹ/을 뻔하다

안녕하세요 여러분! Hey everyone! Today’s quick lesson is about a structure used to express that you almost did something or that something almost happened. Let’s start!

-ㄹ/을 뻔하다 = I almost...

-ㄹ/을 뻔하다 is attached to verbs to say that something almost happened or that you almost did something. Ultimately, however, the action did not end up happening. Use this formula:

[verb stem] + ㄹ/을 뻔하다

Attach -ㄹ to stems ending in a vowel

Attach -을 to stems ending in a consonant

With this usage, 뻔하다 is always conjugated into the past tense

Examples

지하철에 지갑을 잃어버릴 뻔했어요. = I almost lost my wallet on the subway.

바닥이 미끄러워서 떨어질 뻔했어요. = The floor was slippery so I almost fell.

그 가방을 살 뻔했는데 너무 비싸서 안 샀어요. = I almost bought that bag, but it’s too expensive, so I didn’t.

수미 씨는 음주 운전하면서 사고날 뻔했어요. = Sumi almost got into a car accident while she was driving drunk.

늦잠을 자서 버스를 놓칠 뻔했어요. = I almost missed the bus because I overslept.

Upper-Beginner / Lesson 13: -ㄴ/은 채로

안녕하세요 여러분! Today I have a useful grammar point: -ㄴ/은 채로. Let’s start!

What is -ㄴ/은 채로?

-ㄴ/은 채로 is useful for describing the state that something is in. Let’s look at a formula:

[verb stem] + ㄴ/은 채로

Attach -ㄴ 채로 to stems ending in a vowel.

Attach -은 채로 to stems ending in a consonant.

For example, let’s look at this sentence from Naver Dictionary:

책상을 잠그지 않은 채로 두지 말아라. = Don’t leave your desk unlocked.

Here, the speaker is talking about leaving the desk in the state of unlocked. Thus, 잠그지 않은 채로 can be used to describe the unlocked state of the desk. Let’s see some more examples!

신발을 신은 채로 수영했어요. = I swam with my shoes on.

신발을 신은 채로 describes what state you were in while you were swimming -- with your shoes on.

이어폰을 쓴 채로 잠이 들었어요. = I fell asleep with my headphones in.

불을 켜둔 채로 집에 떠났어요. = I left the house with the lights on.

너무 더우니까 창문 열린 채로 운전하세요. = It’s really hot, so drive with the windows open.
