longing stare
Tumblr media
kazuha x situationship! ex! reader
sypnosis: after two months of no contact, kazuha appears back on beidou’s ship, looking for you.
warnings: angst, mean kazuha, cheating, situationship, suggestive content
Tumblr media
“kazuha?”
the white haired samurai noticed the slight hitch in your breath as you stared, wide eyed. you looked the same as he remembered, your hair only being a few inches longer.
your features seemed healthier, you seemed happier. kazuha’s gentle smile only confused you as you stood there. you never thought you’d see him so soon, much less again. kazuha beckoned you towards the side of the ship. the boat rocked gently with the waves as you followed kazuha to the side. he leaned against the side while you stood there stiffly next to him.
“it’s been awhile, (y/n). you’re still with the crux? i thought you would’ve been onto your adventures in fontaine by now.”
you winced at the memory of a past dream you shared with him, “i decided to stay. this place felt more like home than there.”
you laughed dryly, “and you came back. why? was miss kamisato not promising enough for you?”
memories of the night you found out about them still laid as burning scars. scabbed over, but with the lightest scratch they’d be open again.
kazuha had been lying to you about his past relationship with the young lady of the kamisato clan. he had first introduced her as his friend, but not that he was once in a relationship with her. you found letters from ayaka in his small trunk he kept in his part of your shared closet. he reassured you they were old until you found another letter hidden away in the pocket of one of his haori coats. this letter was a detailed confession of how deeply ayaka felt for him and the words he told her.
your confrontation of the letter was the last memory you had with the samurai. his soft mumbled apologizes weren’t enough to keep him in the door. you were done, he no longer had a home with you. so he stayed in inazuma for two months.
kazuha gently shook his head. “i’ve been thinking about you, dove.” you shook your head at the familiar nickname.
“you shouldn’t call me that, kazuha.”
kazuha stood up from against the ships side, taking one of your hands, holding them in his. “i missed you more than anything. you were my calm in the storm, you silenced the torment in my heart. i see how i have wronged you, and i am so very sorry for my betrayal. it was my fatal mistake, my dear.”
you shook your head, your chest tightened with every word. “why now, kazuha? why didn’t you say that back then, that night?”
kazuha mumbled soft words of apologies, his gentle touches on your shoulder as you wept about how unworthy and undeserving you had once felt for him.
“i never did anything with her, my love. those two months i spent in inazuma weren’t spent with her. i was wandering the streets of the city, trying to put myself back together after the mistake i made that pushed you from me.” you nodded gently at his words, your tear streaked cheeks being wiped by his bandaged fingers.
kazuha would spend the night in your room, making up for the time he had lost. he worshipped you that night, holding you close to him as if he’d lose you once again.
you found him the next morning in the same spot where he apologized to you. a cup of tea was warming his hands as you came to stand next to him. “good morning, dove.”
you smiled gently at the familiarity of this scene, this is how you would spend mornings with kazuha before the breakup.
“good morning, my dear samurai. what adventures await us today?” you asked him teasingly.
kazuha’s bandaged arm wrapped around your waist, pulling you close to him. “don’t worry your little head about such matters, let’s enjoy the day in each others company.” kazuha planted a kiss on the top of your head before turning back into your room. you chased after him and spent another day together. he wrote you a haiku and brought out his paint brushes. you created a beautiful painting of the autumn leaves and inazuma’s terrain. everything felt perfect. just as it had before everything left you once before.
but you knew better than to trust a man that had betrayed you. it had only been a week of kazuha being back that you noticed how he now flinched from your touches. he wouldn’t sleep next to you or in the same room anymore, disappearing all night somewhere on the ship. his soft words of affection and endearing nicknames had stopped as well. he now only called you by your name.
you still remembered the last night he spent with you before turning cold. he had brought up how he missed warming your bed at night, burying himself inside of you. his whines to complete himself inside of you were finally heard, his scarred body retracting immediately as he finished. “where are you going, kazu?” you’d called out softly as he shrugged his kimono back on. “i’ll be back soon, dove.” he spoke coldly as he left you.
but his warmth never returned. he spent most of his time with beidou and the others on the ship. if you arrived he wouldn’t even pretend to acknowledge you.
a deep sinking feeling that was all too familiar enveloped you once again. kazuha was acting the same way he did two months ago. but this time you wouldn’t let him get away with it. get away with breaking your heart for a second time.
after some liquid courage from beidou, you found kazuha against the front of the ship. he was watching the waves, a familiar bottle in his hands. “hello, (y/n). come to watch the waves?”
you shook your head, tearing the bottle from kazuha’s grasp. “what’re you playing at kaedehara?”
kazuha shrugged his shoulders, “i don’t know what you’re referring to.”
“you know exactly what i mean kazuha. you can’t just be all close to me, tell me you love me, share a bed with me, and then go all cold in only a few days. i forgave you for that kamisato girl, i forgave you for everything. so why? why are you doing this to me?”
kazuha’s expression didn’t change from his usual demeanor, “we’re moving too fast, (y/n). we should take things slow. i was afraid to tell you, i admit. but i think we should just be friends.”
it felt like every archon had cursed you in that moment. the buzzing of the alcohol couldn’t hide the immense ache in your chest as you stood there, watching how kazuha seemed so unfazed by the fate he had declared for you both. you gave yourself to him, something you never allowed him to do when you were together previously. but this time had to have been different, right?
“okay.” you spoke with a low voice as kazuha turned his attention back to the dark sea. your stumbling footsteps carried you back to your room, sobs erupting from your mouth. you gave yourself to him, and all he could offer you now was friendship.
as you laid there in the dark, you realized how wrong you had been. and how wronged you now felt. two months ago was supposed to have been your biggest betrayal from kaedehara kazuha, not now.
with this new realization in your heart, you could no longer call the crux your home. as the night went on you had gathered all of your things, writing beidou a goodbye as well as a thank you note.
the ship docked in sumeru early in the morning, and you made sure to be off the boat within the first hour. with a rushed goodbye, you gave beidou the letter, as well as one for kazuha. you would get to fontaine. you would build a new world for yourself. one far away from the samurai you could no longer call home.

sleepless nights are very common for our beloved traveler
his voice line about nightmares says it all
for those of you who don't know:
"i've also dreamed of my sister walking away from me, while i'm unable to catch up to her no matter how fast i run.
...she tells me that i've 'come too late'."
the nightmares only worsen after he sees her again
lumine told him before she left that they would always have enough time, but he couldn't stop thinking... what if they didn't? what if she changed her mind?
he knows that she explored teyvat far longer than he did and she already came to a conclusion about this world, so what if she just said that to pacify him?
would they ever be able to traverse the skies together again?
"i can practically hear you thinking from here."
aether twists his body to see you approaching him with a large blanket. he gives you a weak smile. "you're still up. are you alright?"
you seat yourself on the grass beside him. after a hectic week of commissions, aether decided to set up camp on starsnatch cliff. it's one of the highest places in mondstadt, occupied by no one but the wind and a few cecelias. it's one of the most tranquil places he could have possibly chosen. you're grateful for the peace and quiet, but you're still worried.
that's all you do these days -- all you've ever done since you met him; worrying about your boy from beyond the stars.
"i feel like i should be asking you that," you reply, draping the blanket over his shoulders. aether shuffles a bit and makes himself more comfortable with a mumur of thanks. "paimon and i tried to call you to eat, but your head was in the clouds. are you okay?"
the traveler's eyes doesn't answer you for a while, his eyes still locked on the stars. "did you know," he finally says, "that the stars here aren't the same as the ones from my home?"
"really?" you feel a gentle tap on your shoulder and see aether's arm outstretched, beckoning for you to come closer. you huddle next to him and he fixes the blanket over both of your shoulders. "what do the ones from your home look like?" you ask, resting your head on his shoulder.
aether hums, leaning his head against yours. "it's been such a long time, i... don't really remember. not all of them, anyways." he raises a hand and points at a cluster of stars. "that one kinda looks familiar, but the name... it's not coming to me."
you catch the melancholy in his tone very quickly. he must be homesick again. you never fault him for it; he and his sister must be so, so far from home and yet they're trapped here, in a foreign land with foreign people, forced to do their bidding in order to go home. you feel a twinge of guilt.
"back home," aether continues, "we had nebulas. do you know what those are?" when you shake your head no, you hear him chuckle. "i guess they never explained those here."
you hum quietly. "not in common curriculum, they don't. i think only trained astronomers learn about those. was astronomy taught to you guys?"
aether goes stiff and you press your lips together. 'you guys' probably got him thinking about his sister, and more often than not, talking about her puts him in a bad mood. you're about to apologize, but he keeps talking.
"yeah, it, uh... it was mandatory." he straightens his back a little and sighs. "i-- we had wings. charting the stars was a must if we wanted to travel anywhere, but lumine and i.."
"aether, you don't have to talk about it." you interrupt him. you sit up straight to get a good look at him. he doesn't look as down as you thought he would, but you don't want to take that chance. "i'd love to hear more about your past -- i've always been curious -- but if it's painful for you, then don't."
for just a split second, aether's golden irises shine brighter than any celestial body you've ever seen. he leans forward and kisses your forehead. "i'll be alright, i promise." he reassures you. "thank you for worrying about me."
"aether..."
"i think i should talk about it anyways. maybe it'd make me feel better; jog my memory a bit, y'know?"
you bite your lip and nod. "only if you're sure." you rest your head on his shoulder again and think of a question. "so... wings, huh?"
aether laughs, the sound airy. "oh man, i have so many stories about that."
your golden-haired traveler recounts to you tales of his past -- of his home -- all throughout the night until you two fall asleep, illuminated by the stars.

mr. "i want to know the truth of this world" usually stargazes for research purposes
he doesn't have the space for it in his lab in dragonspine, but he has a wall full of constellations that he believes relates to people that he knows
ask him about his findings and you'll end up in a 40 minute lecture about how he thinks the leo minor constellation represents acting grand master jean
(that's actually the name of her constellation, so--)
40 minute lectures with albedo really aren't all that bad
he gets to tell someone about his findings and you get to learn something new
but sometimes you wish he would just settle down
so one day, you make the perilous journey to the peak of dragonspine to surprise him
you will forever be grateful for your years of training and higher than average stamina. you didn't exert too much energy trying to make it here, but you know a tedious task when you see one. thankfully, albedo is able to keep pace with you; his presence makes things less tiring.
"is there a reason why we're going this far up?" albedo finally asks once you've reached your destination. you're surprised he didn't ask earlier. "i have no issue with it, of course, but i can't say that i've ever explored this far."
you rub your hands together when you feel your fingers start to sting from the biting wind chill. "what, i can't take my boyfriend out on a stargazing date on a dangerous mountain?" you tease, giggling when albedo's eyebrows twitch up. "and here i am risking frostbite for you."
the two of you reached a clearing not too long ago, one without any ruin guards or lingering hilichurls. albedo finally turns and looks up, and you see him falter for a moment, stunned by the expanse of the sky before him.
for once, the ever-eloquent albedo is reduced to silence. all he can muster is a quiet: "oh."
you can't help but laugh, your breath visible in the frosty air. "i take it you like the view, then?"
for a few minutes, there's no response. albedo is too absorbed in what he's seeing. after a while, you see him pat his pockets out of reflex, and he finally glances down when he doesn't feel his usual writing or sketching materials. then, he looks at you. "is this why you asked me to leave my belongings in the lab?"
"yep. i just wanted to look at the stars with you." you shrug and turn your eyes to the sky. there's still a few clouds here and there, but from this high up, the stars look close enough to touch. "i think it's beautiful, don't you?"
albedo hums in agreement. "i suppose you're right." he walks over and tugs the collar of your jacket up, zipping it up a little further. "even out of the corner of my eye, i can see you shivering, my love. should we head back now?"
you chuckle nervously. you knew you were freezing, but you were starting to grow used to it -- if you got too comfortable, you'd probably catch a cold. "we just got here," you whine. you foolishly forgot your warming bottle back at the lab, so that was out of the question. "can't we stay a few more minutes?"
it's albedo's turn to chuckle. "you're starting to sound like klee. it would be nice to stay, but your warmth is far more important." he pauses and gazes at you for a second, his eyes dropping to your lips.
it doesn't take a genius to know what he's thinking. you lean forward so your noses are touching, but you stop just before you can kiss him.
"i read somewhere that sharing a kiss with your lover beneath the stars was romantic." albedo murmurs against your lips. "do you think so?"
you blink twice before resting your forehead on your boyfriend's shoulder with a laugh. the fact that he would willingly read something on romance was shocking, but somehow, you had a feeling that he would have done that at some point. albedo drops his arms to encircle your waist. "did i say something wrong?" he asks. "i don't think i did--"
you move back and finally close the gap, pressing your lips against his. he makes a small noise of surprise before melting into it as he holds you tighter.
maybe the kiss can be his answer.

Long fic oh boi
Somewhat self indulgent fic of Yan!Tomo x GN!reader x Yan!Raiden/Ei but it turns into a Yan!Kazuha x reader. Reader hints at liking Beidou at the end too. So buckle up, I hope I can do my thoughts justice. Forgive me if I fucked it up a bit, I haven't finished the Inazuma storyline, believe it or not.
TW: Held against will, yandere themes (ofc)
Status: Unedited (No beta we die like Tomo T-T)
Tumblr media
"Tomo, the idea is foolish. You have no reason to fight the Raiden." Kazuha's words droned through the room, Tomo simply running his fingers through your hair as he listened to his friends words once again. You were tired of hearing the conversation and tired of being near the two samurai. You wanted to get out of Inazuma, out of the suffocating hold of Tomo and away from Kazuha's prying eyes. You loved Tomo and by extension, Kazuha, but that was when they were harmless, when they wandered about and visited your village once a month. You didn't want to travel with them or stay with them, you hadn't wanted to be taken. You thought you had found refuge under your Archon's gaze all those months ago when she passed by you three at a temple. You thought she would free you, not lay her own claim as well. What a mess
"Kazuha. You wouldn't understand. I HAVE to fight the Raiden. It's the only way we- The only way I can keep (Y/n) safe." Your eyes picked up on their conversation again as you zoned back in. Tomo had moved you into the bed at the other side of the room but it hadn't put much distance between any of you, the small Inn rooms not doing much for space. Kazuha stared at you with undecipherable emotions and incoherent thoughts. You curled up, tucking your head between your legs as you tuned them out once again. Outside the window the sun had set and people were finishing up their errands for the day. You longed for that once again, to roam the streets with warm lanterns above and to go out at night with your friends and do nothing but bask in each others presence. Kazuha was the only reprieve you had now, he didn't judge every little thing you did, didn't force you into things you didn't want to do, he didn't do anything to you that Tomo did to you and for that he was a small mercy. Your eyes shut as you fell asleep, wishing this to be a bad dream.
-----------------------------------------------------
The sun had reached it's highest point and you and your companions had finally reached Inazuma city. Tomo was lecturing Kazuha on how to keep you close and safe while he fought the Raiden. Tomo's voice was like honey and you hated how nice it sounded. You prayed that the Raiden killed him and that you could run away after. Away from Tomo and Kazuha, away from the Raiden, away from Inazuma, away away away. You stumbled out of your thoughts when you bumped into Tomo's back, Kazuha reaching out to steady you. You three had arrived and the Raiden was waiting. Tomo kissed your forehead as he stepped away. Kazuha held onto your hand as Tomo climbed the steps. You both waited with bated breath as the Raiden trailed her eyes over to you and raised her blade towards Tomo. Tomo grinned as he raised his own.
It was over in a bright flash of purple, electro crackling in the air. The sight was horrifying and you could tell Kazuha thought so too. The Raiden smiled and beckoned you towards her. You stumbled towards Tomo's gored body, pulling Kazuha with you as the Raiden remained waiting. Your mind was scattered and you didn't know what to do now. Tomo couldn't stop you, you could run. Run far, far away. To Fontaine maybe, or Liyue. You wanted to go with your Archon, her open hand sending an ache through your bones. Kazuha came to his senses first and before you could even think about acting on your thoughts, you were swept into his arms and the world was blurring by. Or were you floating? Yeah, you were in the sky, speeding towards the docks as fast as the winds would carry you two. Kazuha's grip was suffocating and you couldn't help but be reminded of the way Tomo would hold you. A large ship was at the docs ready to set sail. You barely heard Kazuha's rushed words as he spoke to a woman standing on the docs. She glanced at you and nodded as she waved her arms to welcome you two onboard. You came to your senses as the water splashed against the boat and the harbour got farther away. Kazuha had put you down to converse with the lady who was now steering the ship. You assumed she was the captain. She was captivating to you and you wanted nothing more than to bask in her presence forever. You took a step towards her but Kazuha pulled you back, tucking you into his side with a firm arm around your shoulders. You vowed to get away from Kazuha and clenched your fist in determination, only to relax your hold as something round and cold was found in your palm. You turned your head to look at it, gasping when you saw the dark blue vision shimmering in your hand. You shoved it into your pocket and prayed Kazuha hadn't seen it while you thanked the Archons for helping you. Kazuha would be no better than Tomo and you were going to make sure you could get far away sooner, this time.

What they love about you (part 2)[Genshin Impact]
Tumblr media
Synopsis: It was as if the universe had changed when they saw you.
Characters: Zhongli, Childe, Albedo, Kazuha. Part 1 here
Genre: fluff
"Poetry for my hopeless romantic heart 🥺 and Kazuha, he was the perfect candidate for this. I decided to put Zhongli first of course, he deserves it after saving my ass in Baal's fight."
=================================
Spirit flows through the Immovable rock (Zhongli)
Nations fall, truths be told, iron rusts and earth erode
Through six centuries these were stories he watched unfold.
He sees you and the archon knew that you shall too grow old
But despite it all, he loves you for your existence, as nothing can compare to your intransient soul.
The purpose of contracts were made to ensure there had been a fair trade between two parties. Like merchants striking business deals for a favourable outcome, like mother nature maintaing the balance between life and death, like how you and your beloved said your vows and whispered promises to one another as evening bids farewell by the warm welcome of the moon's gentle glow. Those days were the most treasured that you couldn't help remisicing them-- when Zhongli appeared in your life. Your mortal life. How time can fly so fast.
Perhaps this had been a common notion among human standards. That to be connected, both sides must share the same factors in order to proceed the contract. Clearly your placement proved to be mismatched. Unlike Zhongli there could be a day when your legs gave up and you can no longer walk. He will go on without you, continuing to drift in places where you cannot reach, where time was out of the question, further and further away until the mist begins to seize your field of vision and soon your eyes were too old to see.
The difference in age can truly make someone feel alone and Zhongli knew it well. Thus he smiled softly like he always does and held you close, speaking with so much kindness:
My dearest.
Your soul existed like an evergreen tree blooming through all four seasons, unwithered and everlasting, even against the cold storm of white. And it could be as soft as the sunbeam cascading through the mountain peaks while they dust the land with their ethereal hues and emitting the warmth that breaths absolute serenity. If artifacts were a piece of what someone left behind then maybe everything you made was considered an artifact-- a treasure. A piece of you in those handwritten letters, the beauty in your fingertips after knitting him a scarf which caused scars to mar them, and because of how heavy your spirit weighs through everything you did, it became evident that the one he had fallen for was not your skin nor your body but the person who resides in it.
And sometimes he wonders if he had met you once upon a dream. What else could explain the mysterious feeling that made you seem so familiar, even when he only saw you for the first time? Or perhaps you were an old friend from the long long past, someone he stargazed with upon the infinite mounds of grass and glaze lilies, someone whom he shared the taste of osmanthus wine, someone he came to cherished just like how he cherished his own nation. Regardless, whether you were that someone or not, he wouldn't hesitate to relive those times all over again.
If there was a day when the world around you decided to cave in, where time inevitably caught up and you succumbed to change, he would still be yours. After all, the immovable stone was meant to be the symbol of constancy. He already sworn to you that his devotion and affection will never waver, they were solely held towards your essence for you had touched him through the things he could not touch, and left a mark that would last longer than his ancient self can last. Zhongli may have lived through many lifetimes but meeting you was the beginning of everything. You were a mortal immortalized in the world his heart, etched so deep that it stirs him apart, there was no room for anyone else.

Drowning in the ocean flames (Tartaglia)
There was a man who fell deeply in love with war
They raged inside of him like the spontaneous battlefields he came to adore.
Consumed by desire, pain became an addiciton
And he eventually surrenders to the heat of your passion.
While many fear death, Childe learned to dance with it.
He revels in the way his heart pounds endlessly, as if new life had been born from the inside and then bursted like thunder, sending trembling sensations through his veins, bringing him to the peak of euphoria. The feeling was a drug in which Childe hesitates no more when he confronts it, rather he deliberately seeks it. He seeks thrill in the most dangerous situations since they were the moments that made him feel so alive.
Henceforth the Harbinger sought you out. He inches closer and ever so close, those deep cerulean eyes trapped in your hypnotizing ones. Childe loves how you look at him like you were about to devour him, consume him as the flames in hell would, perhaps destroy him completely to the point there was no turning back and yet...he would not mind.
Childe had been so drawn to you like a moth to a light. No. Rather, Adam and the devil, tempting him to sin because the things he would do for you were undeniably impetuous. It was too late. It was too late when you told him you wanted to stay. Too late when you pulled him down, with arms around his neck, stealing away his breath in one swift manner as well as a kiss. Curse you for having so much power over him, from then and there he was no longer the mighty harbinger everyone knew but a man foolish in love. Take him higher. Higher. Take him far. To say you were alluring would be an understatement. The scent of you brings all his senses to disarray and the taste of you-- by the archons-- had never made him feel so starved. All he thought of was mindlessly running his hands over your small back, reveling in the shape of you, exploring every inch and curve in attempt to make you completely his.
This was the reason why he grew accustomed to dancing with death. Because it was you. You were going to be the cause of his downfall and you were the cause of this insanity. Even though you constantly reminded him how risky the situation was due to being a wanted criminal in his homeland's eyes, Childe pays no mind. Didn't he already tell you to trust him? Anyone who threatens you would be an enemy of his, much to their misfortune. Whether it'd be conquering the world and laying it beneath your feet or walking through the depths of the abyss all over again, he'll make sure to have it all and no one can say otherwise.
~xx~
Shelter (Albedo)
Your warmth was his hearth
Like stars falling onto the earth
Gracing the plains in an empereal bliss
As they trembled under the touch of heaven's kiss
Closing his eyes, you are the first person he sees.
The sound of snow chasing the wind fills the silent night once again while it's whispered blows continued to echo just by the cave's entrance. Albedo had planned to take you back to Monstadt that day but Dragonspine was not the place to be merciful with the weather. No one else except the two of you occupied the abandoned space and a singular camp fire to serve as a source of warmth. You place your hand on your lover's forehead, brushing away his ash coloured strands while he seeps into slumber. Albedo sighs contentedly. Despite the world being engulfed in sheer cold, here he felt safe and sound.
Before meeting you Albedo never really had that. People regularly held him on a high regard and had a hard time matching his pace. He was a born genius to the point that he practically stood out like a swan out of the ducklings' crowd as they admired his brilliance. Truly Albedo was a perfect human being. But when turns around to see the rest he noticed how distant everything seemed. He was so focused on his pursuit towards the universal truth that he hadn't given the time to consider; where is he going with this? And what for? Everyone else looked so happy living in their mundane routines and Albedo soon grew curious about such thoughts. Out of all the places in Monstadt, exactly where does he belong?
Opening his eyes, you are the first person he looks for.
"Welcome home, Albedo!"
The answer was obvious. Home was the sound of his name on your lips. When you were side by side with him while he sketched the landscape from the far distance. In places where the lights were on as he entered the room, knowing you were inside. This feeling couldn't be describe with just a word. Home was not a nation nor was it a destination. Home was in your touch where he felt the most protected.
I'm home.
A sky filled with stars and he only saw one; his Starlight. Your warmth held the emotion similar to the kind where there had only been one cande lit amidst an infinite stretch of darkness. But it also brought the joy of flowers blossoming into the vivid future of new spring. There was no place he'd rather be than the shelter of your arms because with you, Albedo believed he truly found where he belonged.

Pirr against the Scarlet Leaves (Kazuha)
Silencing the world
My heart begins to find peace
Soothed by your presence
- For my beloved, (Y/n)
I remember how the first petal of spring drifted by as it had flown into the crossroads of our path. Subconciously my entire being began to still. This particular flower... it must have come far and wide for the wind to carry such a pleasant scent. Although I had intended to continue my venture onwards but the air ceased to sound and I knew that this way was true. And so nature beckons me to the shore where the waves lulled back and forth under the moonlight's entrance, only then I began to sharpen my vision to see what was before me. You stood there on a rock with your face looking into the sparkling sky, singing a tune that drew me near. Just the mere sight was enough to stir my heart alone.
My beloved, do you know why I named this poem 'Pirr against the Scarlet Leaves?'
Watching you was like witnessing the ephmereal birth of a flower sprouting amongst the slums of an abandoned nation. A fleeting miracle where snow falls from the summer sky. I am compelled to capture these feelings in this poem yet there are moments where my thoughts scatter as if the autumn wind had whisked them away and out of my grasp until a singular leaf is only what was left. Perhaps it wouldn't be necessary for me to keep a notebook of ways I can describe your presence, instead a few simple sentences would suffice. Nevertheless, I only wish to express my feelings for you.
When you're with me it seems I have nothing to think about. The aura around you can silence the world alone, speaking louder than thunder cries, weighing heavily to those around you in ways it would feel empty if you're not here. Yet I could breath as if alleviated from the burdens of my past. This had me realize that this must have been the will of the wind. You were the greatest gift to have ever bestowed upon me and I confess, sometimes my chest aches because of how much I cherish you, it pierces me like a sharp blade but even if my heart bleeds it will continue to bleed only for your sake.
So wherever you are, wherever you may be, I can feel you in the breeze. Return soon my beloved, I'll be here, waiting.
