More DMC headcanons while I got the absolute brain rot~! “You” included~!
(Expect some sadness and cheesiness)
💜we all know for a fact that if Dante had a GF/BF, he would absolutely adore them and call them all kinds of cheesy cute pet names~ but his absolute, close to heart secret pet name for them that he calls them when they’re not around is “My Humanity.” because they literally are his strength and weakness
💜Vergil absolutely dislike being alone for long duration of time, even if he puts up a front and is grumpy about being around people, he is almost always nearby if even around the corner. He NEEDS the noise
💜Trish will never admit this but there was one time Dante was insanely drunk, younger darker years in life here mind you (with at least a year or two after the events of DMC1), she agreed to be “mother” for the night and just hold the sobbing mess while he cried himself to sleep. (Dante has no memory of this, he got SERIOUSLY drunk)
💜Lady gives herself pep talks in the mirror, and it’s the kind of “you got this baby, work that ass!” kind of pep talk that if anyone hears they would either have been punched (Dante) or reluctantly bribed to secrecy (Nero)
💜Speaking of Nero, man’s an absolute SOFTY for cute little nicknames from his S/O, even if they call him “pookie” as a joke he will scratch his nose and go “n-not here.” but secretly he loves it. Go ahead, call him your little sunshine, he’ll melt.
💜You will instantly become Nico’s favorite if you bring her some kind of obscure spicy snack, 10x effectiveness if it’s some kind of candy she can snack on while working on breakers to “bring out the creative flavor hidden within.”
💜Going back in time, when Credo was alive and not in the high position was in, he had a small crush on this village girl and would always leave out a small flower on his desk for her to take. Always wondered what happened to her after he was promoted to his long standing position he is in now. Won’t talk about her though.
💜If you ask ANY of the DMC members to dance with you, expect mixed results. (In ✨)
✨Vergil won’t dance but oh hey wow his Doppleganger is just GROOVING so hard with you.
✨Dante just beans and absolutely does a little shuffle dance with you, had you asked him this when he was “younger” he’d be dancing way harder (he secretly likes to watch you move).
✨Nero is the most awkward about it but will warm up in no time at all, happy rocking out and jabbing with you like nobody’s watching! Watch out :3c
✨Lady’s flattered and May do a little shimmy with you, but she’s awkward about it and it somehow adds to her badassary charm.
✨Trish won’t dance, but she’ll watch and clap along to the show. May do so with some persistence on your end
✨May god have mercy upon your soul the moment you ask Nico to dance, you will be going at it for hours or until Kyrie peaks in and kindly asks is going on. Congrats, you now have two dance partners!
And that’s all I got! Perhaps next time it’ll be spicy :3c who knows~!

re my lbr: it's so stupid that all the academic/studying/literary tags on this website are inundated with pictures of coffee and cafés. like yeah a lot of academics work in cafés and are addicted to coffee but c'mon just start a separate thing called cafécore or coffeecore or something. some of you really maybe don't like reading at all and maybe you should become one of those coffee bean enthusiasts and that's perfectly fine. i also think everything about the romanticization of academia/dark academia/etc is ridiculously stupid considering that academia is an extremely exploitative industry and anyone who has been in the education system should be thoroughly disenchanted with it and critical of the caffeine culture which perfectly illustrates how severely the people are overworked.
really a lot of dark academics on tumblr are just touting a nerdier form of grind mindset hustle culture. how is romanticising the drug addictions to nicotine and caffeine any different from finance bros or tech bros or jocks romanticizing cocaine or ritalin or steroids. depending on chemical substances to alter your brain because you physically cannot perform at the level you're holding yourself to (or being held to) is the perfect example of how patriarchal/hierarchical/capitalist cultures grind the lower classes into dust. note that i'm not talking about people who use these things responsibly to treat their disorders, i'm specifically talking about people who use substances to facilitate unhealthy 20 hour study/work sessions. stop glorifying being overworked & stressed out.
if you're a young adult or especially a teenager on these dark academia blogs please get out of that mindset quickly and realize that for a lot of people studying/work/output is just another form of self-harm/self-destruction. you should never tie your productivity or your grades to your self-worth. of course having good grades is a noble aspiration but there's also more to life and you must recognize that most educational institutions are not truly equal or just. seek accomodations if you need them, because any system that prioritizes productivity is usually pretty ableist and steeped in a hierarchical structure that promotes competition in unhealthy ways.
my wish is that we humans could all work less and instead live in egalitarian socieities void of hierarchies/patriarchy/competition - and the older i get, the more i realize how nefarious these things are and how they seep into every aspect of life, and how at odds i am with these structures not only as a female but as someone who has struggled from ableism and classism, both of which for me were manifested in educational difficulties from a young age which followed me into adulthood. anyway to clarify, i am passionate about academia (which is why i use academic tags on my blog) - but for me its a hobby, and i'll never glorify work, and i'll probably never monetize my passions, thereby avoiding having all the love sucked out of me. but i digress

End of year wrap up and what happens next!
Well it’s the end of the year, and what a year it’s been. I feel like this is the best/worst year I’ve had so far. On one hand I’ve really gotten to spend a lot more time doing what I love to do, which is designing characters and monsters for you guys, and on the other hand the world feels just all the darker.
Ai really took off early this year and it’s been a shadow looming over our community ever since. It’s hard to focus on work when I’m wondering if I’ll be able to continue it in the years to come. I also decided I was going to work on ttrpg stuff this year (another hobby I love) and if you’ve been following that scene you’ll know that it’s been flooded with controversy all year long. X’D
With that being said I’m going to keep a brave face and work towards the future. I love doing what I do, and I think it would break my heart to give it up. It hard, but it’s worth it.
What happens next?
Well first and foremost I’d really like to work on my own personal project more this year. I spent last year doing a lot of writing and plotting, and I’m still working on it, but I think I’ve got a pretty good idea of where I’d like things to go. So I would expect to see more of my own beans running around. (I will be making a point to draw them more often) I need to practice drawing humans more so there will definitely be more doodles.
I admittedly have fallen out of love with the classic D&D dragons set I’d been working on. It was partly fatigue and partly feeling like I was promoting a company that thought it was cool to lay off 1100 employees just before Christmas. I just don’t have the passion for it anymore so I’ll probably work on something else, or go back to monsterhunter.
I’d really like to do more with the creature club this year. (discord for patreon and ko-fi supporters) I had a lot of fun designing beasties for them (all the sketch designs I’ve been drawing have been creature club requests), and this next year we’re going to do something special with give away designs, the first of which I’m thinking I might make public? I haven’t decided just yet.
Anyhow I just wanted to wrap up my thoughts for this year. It’s been a crazy one. I hope that you have all been doing well, and that these next few days are full of rest and relaxation.
Here’s to hoping that 2024 is a little less manic.

""Find a synonym for denounce in the fourth paragraph of the article (Fans of the paleo diet...). Identify the synonym below. Then, identify the connotation of the synonym and explain how it compares to the original phrase, mental hospital."
I'm gonna put in both paragraph 3 and 4 so it'll make sense!!
"But then the agricultural revolution came. The advent of farming changed the diet of the average human away from meat and the occasional berries or grasses to a diet that leaned more heavily on grains like rice or corn. With this change in diet also came a change in lifestyle. Instead of living nomadic lives chasing animal migrations, humans were able to settle down in one location and began building cities. The more stable food source of farmed grains also gave humans more free time to invent and innovate, leading to the development of written languages, new art forms, and scientific discoveries. But was this change in diet and lifestyle actually healthy for humans?
Fans of the paleo dirt would argue no. In recent years, some have promoted a return to the eating habits of our earlier ancestors. They claim modern illness comes from a diet that is too different from the diet of the cavemen. They blame the reliance on grains, dairy, and beans for a variety of health problems that humans develop today. To follow the paleo diet, people must eat only meat, eggs, vegetables, fruit, completely, eliminating all other foods from their lives. People who love the paleo diet say that this eating style helps them lose weight, build strength, and eat healthy."
blame is !!! "They blame the reliance on grains, dairy, and beans for a variety of health problems that humans develop today."
i dont know what the 'mental hospital' part of the directions mean but... the connotation of the synonym blame makes someone else the spotlight (in a negative sense). this is similar to the word condemn because each word is shunning a person/group.

L'Heure Bleue (Guerlain)
Call me a snob, but I believe that every perfume counter ought to invest in a single bottle of L'Heure Bleue as an educational tool. Let corporate write it off as a training expense-- that little bottle will provide a reference baseline against which all other fragrances may be compared. For once you have tried L'Heure Bleue -- no matter which side of the counter you stand on -- "good" will become a fixed definition in your mind.
The fabled "blue hour" begins with a sunset. The landscape is drenched in dying light, a haze of evanescent pink, orange, and lemon yellow that fades even as you focus your mind on it. The last of the earth's heat causes the evening air to shimmer. Shadows that seemed stark and black in full sun now appear as shifting veils of deep purple and periwinkle blue, against which the first fireflies begin to paint their fluorescent calligraphies. You settle back in satisfaction, relaxing into the beauty of the evening... only to realize with a start that the air has turned slightly chilly and damp. The day has died away; twilight steals over the scene... along with an undefinable sense of loss and regret.
This melancholy is what L'Heure Bleue famously evokes. Other perfumes before it sought only to assemble a list of ingredients in the interest of providing a good time. Jacques Guerlain took the same ingredients -- neroli, carnation, iris, musk, and vanilla -- and opted instead to convey a human emotion, and not an easy or happy one. There is an unmistakable salty tang to L'Heure Bleue's drydown that brings tears to mind (if not to one's eyes). Are they tears of joy or sorrow? The answer is left to the wearer.
Many modern perfumes shriek confidence in a way that makes you think there's a "positive thinking" clause in the contract. The tales they tell are those of conquest, self-promotion, and overweening optimism, in which the wearer always wins. But L'Heure Bleue dares to confess uncertainty, vulnerability, and a certain ambivalence about the future. Its story contains sad scenes of cherished things coming to an end-- a day, a way of life, a love affair. In an ephemeral world, it has the audacity to remind us of the eternal price one pays for fleeting pleasure.
Some perfumistas label L'Heure Bleue an "old lady" scent. Of course-- it's the old ladies, not the young, who have loved, lost, and lived to tell about it. To misquote Jim Morrison: the girls don't know, but their grandmothers understand. And in the simple terms of quality, if more first-time perfume buyers had the opportunity to experience L'Heure Bleue right out of the gate, the Juicy Coutures of this world would never stand a chance.
To this day, L'Heure Bleue voices a challenge to our preconceptions. In a language both archaic and timeless, it says: Forget what you think a fragrance ought to be-- what it should smell like, how long it should last, what it should say. I am from another time, another world. And once you have heard it speak, all other tongues seem impoverished by comparison.
Scent Elements: Bergamot, aniseed, carnation, neroli, orange blossom, iris, violet, jasmine, heliotrope, ylang-ylang, Bulgarian rose, tuberose, vanilla, benzoin, tonka bean, incense, musk

Are you a visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learner?
Bit of it all, actually. I usually follow these steps:
- watch it done
- guided steps
- try on my own
- repeat as necessary
First pet:
My dad's black lab/chow mix! He helped me learn to walk haha.
Favorite scent:
This is incredibly specific but the smell of my dog's forehead. You know that thing about parents loving the smell of their baby's head, a sense of calm and dopamine releases, and everything is right with the world because of that one scent? I get that when I set my head against my dog's and I smell her head.
Do you believe in astrology?
Yes and no. Do I think there's some cool coincidences about it? Hell yeah. Do I believe that this kind of magic can be powerful? Absolutely. Will I base my beliefs about relationships, compatibility with other humans, be it romantic or platonic, on what arbitrary star they were born under? Fuck no.
How many playlists do you have on Spotify/Apple Music?
None I hate Spotify and Apple products. Got a boatload on YouTube tho.
Sharpies or highlighters?
Sharpies, all the way. I don't care for highlighters, they hurt my eyes and I spend more time thinking "God this sucks to read" than actually reading it.
A song that makes you cry:
I don't cry at songs. The last song that made me cry tho was Clare De Lune, back in 2009. I heard it playing somewhere in the woods, while it was raining, and I don't know who or what was playing it because I only heard it echoing through the trees. I was going through some shit, and it was so beautiful, it gave me peace for a second and it felt like I'd been seen for the first time in years.
A song that makes you happy:
- Our Love by Curtis Harding
- I Think I Like When It Rains by WILLIS
- Almost (Sweet Music) by Hozier
- Boys by Lizzo
- I Am Steve by Hey Steve
And finally, do you write/draw/create? if so, use this as an opportunity to shamelessly (😉) promote yourself!
I do it all! My degree is in art, actually. Lately I've done most of my work when I can't sleep, but I try to do something creative every single day.
Nominations (sorry I'm anxious to tag non-mutuals so its all mutuals, you super dont have to if you dont want to btw): @kiibsterarts @peaceful-roadkill @edubenart @ anyone who'd like to!! Tag me if you see mine and do this, I'd love to see it!

World Chocolate Day
Milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate…chocolate milk, truffles, Snickers, chocolate cake…indulge in any of the many kinds of chocolate out there.
There are a number of dates throughout the year promoting variations of local, national or international World Chocolate Day – our research leads us to believe that this is the true, definitive, purist ‘World Chocolate Day‘, so celebrate with some of the high cocoa, rich, dark chocolate that makes you go tingly inside.
World Chocolate Day is nothing short of a special tribute to mankind’s greatest culinary invention. (Sorry Bread or even Pizza!) Chocolate can enhance and help to create the most luxurious desserts and can even be enjoyed and indulged on its own. Some of the most popular chocolate bars are plain and simple. If this is the one for you, try going for a high cocoa percentage with low added sugar.
The History Of World Chocolate Day
The history of chocolate goes back around 2,500 years. The Aztecs loved their newly discovered liquid chocolate to the extent that they believed the god of wisdom, Quetzalcoatl, literally bestowed it upon them. Cocoa seeds even acted as a form of currency. Could you imagine going shopping or buying a house will a huge pile of Cocoa seeds? It would be wonderful, no? These days, the chocolate was bitter, as it was long before sugar was added. Once chocolate took a turn and went sweet in a 16th Century Europe, chocolate caught on to the masses and became one of many households favorite treats.
Many present-day chocolate companies began operations in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Cadbury began in England by 1868. And then 25 years later Milton S. Hershey, purchased chocolate processing equipment at the World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago, he is now one of the biggest and world-known chocolate creators in the world. He began the company by producing chocolate-coated caramels. Nestlé began back in the 1860s and has grown into one of the largest food conglomerates in the world. You’re bound to of heard of one of these if not all of them. Perhaps you even enjoy a bar or two or their fine chocolate creations at home.
World Chocolate Day Timeline
Beginning of Human History
Cacao Trees (the cocoa bean plant) may have been growing in the wild for 10,000 years or more
1500 BC – 300 BC
Cacao Plants Are Grown by Olmec Indians
Olmec Indians begin growing cacao domestically in the area that is now somewhere in the vicinity of southern Mexico. The beans were probably made into an unsweetened beverage consumed by elite, wealthy people.
300 BC – 500 AD
Cacao Adopted into the Mayan Culture
Mayan culture is developed in Central America and the cacao tree becomes part of that culture. The origin of the English word “chocolate” probably began here. The word for “tree” in the Mayan language was cacahuaquchtl, and the word xocoatl, which literally means “bitter water”, was likely based on the drink made from the cacao bean.
600-1000 AD Cacao Heads to South America
Mayans migrate south and take the cacao plants with them, beginning cultivated plantations. For many people during this time, the cocoa pod was considered to be a religious symbol, sometimes referred to as ‘the food of the gods’.
1200s AD Aztecs Drink Chocolate
The Azetcs learn about cacao plants from trade negotiations with the Mayans. They continue the tradition of making a chocolate drink, sometimes mixed with herbs and spices, such as chilli.
1500s AD Cocoa Beans Head to Europe
Cocoa seeds are so precious in South American they are used as currency. Around the same time, Spanish adventurers bring chocolate back to Spain. Finding it rather bitter, they begin adding cane sugar to it, as well as vanilla and other light spices.
1657 First Chocolate House Opens
As chocolate spreads throughout Europe, a chocolate house opens in England where chocolate drinks can be purchased.
1765 First American Chocolate Company
The first chocolate company in America opens, Baker’s Chocolate.
1830 Solid Chocolate Appears
Chocolate in a solid form meant for eating is developed by British chocolate maker, J.S. Fry & Sons.
1868 First Mass Produced Chocolate
After providing chocolate for Queen Victoria, Cadbury first sells boxes of mass produced chocolate candies in England.
1875 Milk Chocolate Arrives
The Nestlé Company begins in Switzerland with the newest version of the treat, milk chocolate. Nestlé eventually becomes the largest producer of chocolate in the world.
1895 Chocolate Becomes Affordable
Milton Hershey begins selling the Hershey Bar, making chocolate affordable for the average person.
1912 Chocolate Bon-Bons are Introduced
The chocolate filled bon-bon is introduced in Switzerland by Jules Sechaud.
1986 Single-Origin Chocolate Appears
The single-origin chocolate bar is introduced by Valhrona, taking designer chocolate to a whole new level.
2000s Designer Chocolate Develops
Chocolate becomes part of the trend toward fusion cuisine, pairing up with exotic spices such as curry, saffron, lemongrass, coffee beans and much more. Many people seek chocolate with a high percentage of cacao for its antioxidant health benefits.
How Is Chocolate Made?
Many people are unaware that chocolate is a fermented food. You heard that right, once the cacao pods are picked, and then cleaned of pithy white material from the fruit, they are dried and then the cacao beans are fermented. The cacao nibs are revealed once the papery shell is removed. This is where the fun and creativity come in.
Chocolatiers then grind the nibs into cocoa mass, separating them into cocoa solids and cocoa butter, they then combine them with milk and sugar. If they’re creating white chocolate then it’s just the chocolate butter with milk and sugar. It’s definitely worth celebrating this process, especially considering how much thought goes into getting it just right. Every Chocolatier has different methods and ideas that are all popular across the world.
As time has gone on, we have moved towards the indulgence of dark chocolate. It contains far less sugar and holds a higher percentage of cocoa. If you’re looking for the best dark chocolate it’s worth checking out the ones you find from the Ivory Coast, Ghana, and Ecuador. They have ideal climates for cocoa trees and they are known for producing some of the best chocolate. It certainly sounds good! When you purchase chocolate from these regions it’s always best to make sure it’s “fair trade chocolate,” this means you are helping to help make cocoa farming more sustainable. It’s certainly something to keep in mind!
How to celebrate World Chocolate Day
Although some would love to celebrate this day every day, the chocolate day gives you the perfect opportunity to eat your favorites in ample portions. Do you really need any more of an excuse to over indulge? It’s definite harmless once in a while.
The chocolate flavor is most definitely a favorite right throughout the world. It flavors cakes, breakfast cereal, toppings, desserts, candies, ice creams, and much more. Considering its popularity, it certainly deserves a day of honor.
We don’t need to tell you what to do to celebrate this day, do we? Eat Chocolate! Some ways you can incorporate chocolate into this chocolate day include:
Breakfast: How about your favorite chocolate cereal along with a few chocolate filled donuts and wash it down with a little hot chocolate or chocolate milkshake. Or maybe chocolate chip pancakes are more to your taste?
Mid-morning snack: A chocolate candy bar with your filled with your favorite goodies. There are certainly a lot of options to choose from now!
Lunch: If you skipped on the shake fro breakfast then a big tall glass of chocolate milk is a must at lunch! Oh, and don’t forget your dessert, how about a pie of chocolate pie or cheesecake?
Mid-Afternoon: Maybe try to be a little healthier with chocolate-covered strawberries or raisins? Ok, maybe not that healthy but at least t contains fruit!
Dinner: Adults this is your time to sip on that chocolate liqueur before you sit down for dinner. You could have a chocolate flavored coffee with a piece of chocolate cake for afters.
Nighttime snack: If you’re not already chocolate out, why not opt for a few chocolate mints or biscuits with a glass of ice-cold milk?
So, Why Do We Love Chocolate So Much?
Chocolate is certainly of the world’s favorite flavors, if not the most loved taste across 7 continents. Often referred to as the magic bean, it definitely deserves to be celebrated. Everyone loves it, and the recipes that come with it are nothing less than amazing!
You don’t need to be told to indulge in this treat, as and when you want, however, the chocolate day most definitely gives us a special day to indulge in the rich, creamy glory that is chocolate. You will find many bakeries, individuals, and candy stores joining in on the celebrations and you can expect to find some delicious recipes, from meringue pies, milk chocolate pudding through to giant decorative cakes in shop windows you are sure to find something to tickle your fancy.
Why not get the cookbook out of the cupboard, scour the internet for some ideas and get yourself in the chocolate day spirit, baking and creating some wonderful chocolatey creations?
Or failing that, stock up on chocolate biscuits, ice-cream, and enjoy a day of secret treats and indulgence…

The theme of the 2021 festival was mycelium and seven hundred and fifty people attended. Careyes says young people in the "twentysomething" age group were NOT invited.
"Among the offerings was a chocolate-fungi workshop." ["If we were going to add psilocybin, how much per bar should we do?"]
"Erika Valero Tlazohtiani, a shaman in a white gown, told attendees, 'Tobacco is a way to talk with God.' She led a cacao ceremony that involved drinking ritualistically prepared hot chocolate and taking a puff from a communal pipe."
"'That's a crazy-awesome outfit, even if you're not on a lot of drugs,' a guy in a glow-in-the-dark T-shirt said, watching a couple in matching sequinned tie-dyed jumpsuits. 'It's like adult recess on crack, but all the kids on the playground want to play with you,' a philanthropist named Gillian Wynn--the daughter of Steve Wynn--said."
The quotes are from a 1.24. 2022 article ["No Riffraff"] in The New Yorker that was written by Sheila Yasmin Marikar.)

Canine Cuisine A Guide to Safe and Healthy Foods for Your Furry Friend
Introduction
As responsible pet owners, understanding the foods that are safe and beneficial for our dogs is paramount What dogs can eat to their well-being. While dogs are known for their love of treats and table scraps, not all human foods are suitable for canine consumption. This comprehensive guide aims to shed light on what dogs can and should eat, ensuring that your furry companion enjoys a diet that promotes good health and longevity.
Tumblr media
Lean Proteins The Foundation of a Canine Diet
Lean proteins are essential for your dog's muscle development and overall health. Opt for high-quality sources such as cooked chicken, turkey, lean beef, or fish. Avoid seasonings, especially those containing garlic and onions, as they can be harmful to dogs. Remember to remove bones and skin, as they pose a choking hazard.
Fruits: Nature's Sweet Treats for Pups
Many fruits are not only safe but also beneficial for dogs. Apples (seedless), blueberries, strawberries, and watermelon are rich in vitamins and antioxidants. Always remove seeds and pits, as they can be toxic. Moderation is key, as some fruits contain natural sugars that, when consumed in excess, can lead to digestive upset.
Vegetables: A Nutrient-Rich Addition to Your Dog's Diet
Vegetables are a great source of fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Dogs can enjoy carrots, green beans, sweet potatoes, and peas. Steamed or cooked vegetables are easier for dogs to digest. Avoid onions, garlic, and high-fat vegetables like avocados. Before introducing a new vegetable, consult your veterinarian to ensure it aligns with your dg's nutritional needs.
Whole Grains: Providing Essential Carbohydrates
Whole grains like brown rice and oats can be included in your dog's diet to provide essential carbohydrates. These grains offer fiber, which aids in digestion. Ensure that grains are well-cooked and free from additives. Steer clear of products containing xylitol, a sugar substitute that is toxic to dogs.
Dairy: Assessing Tolerance for Lactose
While many dogs are lactose intolerant, some can tolerate small amounts of plain yogurt or cheese. These dairy products can provide beneficial probiotics and calcium. Introduce them gradually and monitor for any signs of digestive upset. Avoid giving dogs milk, as many canines lack the enzyme needed to break down lactose.
Eggs: A Protein-Packed Powerhouse
Eggs are a rich source of protein and can be a valuable addition to your dog's diet. Serve them cooked to avoid the risk of salmonella. Limit the use of seasonings, and ensure that eggs are part of a balanced diet. Consult your vet if your dog has specific dietary cocerns.
Treats and Table Scraps: Moderation is Key
While it's tempting to share our meals with our dogs, not all human foods are safe for them. Avoid giving dogs foods high in salt, sugar, or containing artificial additives. Chocolate, caffeine, grapes, raisins, and foods with xylitol should be strictly off-limits, as they can be toxic to dogs.
Conclusion
Understanding what dogs can and should eat is a crucial aspect of responsible pet ownership. By incorporating lean proteins, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and other canine-friendly foods into your dog's diet, you can contribute to their overall health and well-being. Always consult with your veterinarian before introducing new foods, and remember that moderation is key when it comes to treats and table scraps. With a well-balanced and informed approach to canine nutrition, you can ensure that your furry friend enjoys a diet that supports a happy and healthy life.

Khao Madhupayas (Auspicious Rice)
Khao Madhupayas is an auspicious milk-rice cooked with honey, molasses, beans, sesame seed, milk, butter, and coconut cream. In Thailand, people prepare Madhupayas Rice once a year for ceremony that pay respect to Prince Siddhartha (Sakayamunee Buddha). This food preparation came to be from the following parable.
Several months before Prince Siddhartha became enlightened, Suchada, a wife of rich man in that area came to the Bhodi tree that had many big branches. She was childless but hoped to have a child. The shady, bountiful Bhodi tree convinced her there might be a God staying under the tree. She went over and kneeled down. She asked God to grant her wish for a son. She departed for home. Not much longer after that, she became pregnant and had a little boy.
She returned to the Bhodi tree to give thanks. It was on the day (with full moon night) in the middle of 6th lunar month (considered to be the 8th month in Thai Calendar), Lord Buddha was in the process of becoming enlightened, Suchada was struck with Lord Buddha’s charisma. She worshipped him saying “Lord, accept what I have offered you and depart whenever you please. Even as my wish has been fulfilled may yours also be well fulfilled!!” And she went away with no more desire for the return of the golden bowl worth a hundred-thousand Kahapanas than for a withered leaf.
Loy Thaad (Floating Golden Bowl and Tray)
The parable continues with the symbol of the bowl and tray. Having partaken of that milk-rice, Prince Siddhartha took the golden bowl and tray and set it adrift saying. “If I shall succeed in becoming a Buddha this day, let this bowl and tray go upstream; if not, let it go down with the current.” Cutting its way through the current, it went to the middle of the river and proceeded against the current for a distance of eighty cubits keeping to a central course, as fast as a swift horse … And Prince Siddhartha, having spent the noonday heat meditating in the blossoming sala grove on the bank of the river, wended his way at eventide, like a lion shaking off his drowsiness, in the direction of the Bhodi Tree. The flowers untimely dropped off from their stems.
As Prince Siddhartha was meditating, his mind concentrated and purified, he finally developed the supernormal knowledge that ultimately destroyed all kinds of passions and mental defilements in him and gave him penetrative insight into all phenomena in their true state. He at last became fully enlightened. He had become the Supreme Lord Buddha. To attain enlightenment means to destroy all mental impurities so one’s mind becomes perfectly pure and free from all traces of evil and to gain the special intuitive insight into all realities.
After learning the full story of Lord Buddha, the Thai people adopted the symbols of bowl and tray in his memory and to show respect during worship rituals
……………………………………………………
PONG PRAI KUMARN MAHA PHOOD OF LUANG PHOR TAY KONGTHONG
The process of making Buddha amulet that contains human remains blended with sacred herb, holy powder and mystical minerals is known as “Pong Prai Kumarn Maha Phood”, the Guru Monks who have ability to make this type of Holy Powder must have “wí-chaa aa-kom” a high knowledge of magical spells and mind power to control spirits that come with human remains and those sacred herb, NOT every monk could make Pong Prai Kumarn Maha Phood.
The Guru Monk who made this type of amulet had to perform ritual ceremonies to turn / ordain ghosts (spirits) of the dead to “monks”, in Thai called “Buet Phee”. The ghosts (spirits) will not do any harm to the amulet wearers. Those spirits will only do good things and help the amulet wearers for their own merit. Those spirits would live in the amulets, and would not leave the amulets until their karma end, and circles of lives on earth start again, and each day in spirit world is equal to 100 ordinary solar years of our planet. And Pong Prai Kumarn Maha Phood of Luang Phor Tay Kongthong of Wat Sam-ngam, Nakhon Pathom Province is One of Thailand’s Best.

Unveiling the World of Beauty: Nurturing Your Eyes to Embrace the World’s Splendor
Tumblr media
In today’s digital world, we spend a significant amount of time looking at screens – on our smartphones, computers, tablets, TVs, and even self-checkout machines at food shops and supermarkets. This increased screen time can strain and damage our eyes over the long term due to blue light exposure.
Understanding Blue Light and Its Impact
Blue light is a high-energy visible light emitted from our electronics. Small exposures are fine, but excessive amounts can cause digital eye strain and long-term damage. Blue light scatters more than other wavelengths, resulting in glare and fatigue. It also suppresses melatonin and disrupts sleep cycles when using devices at night. High-energy blue light is absorbed by the retina, contributing to degeneration.
Tumblr media
Humans are beings that undergo evolutionary changes to adapt to their surroundings. Similar to wisdom teeth, some individuals now naturally avoid wisdom tooth pain by never developing them. However, our eyes may not evolve natural blue light resistance quickly enough to protect our generation. Therefore, if we cannot alter the world around us, we must alter ourselves. While we can’t completely avoid blue light, we can minimize damage through proper nutrition.
Tumblr media
The Power of Nutrition: Safeguarding Your Eyes in the Digital Age Proper nutrition plays a vital role in fortifying our eyes against the detrimental effects of prolonged screen usage. Let’s explore key nutrients and their food sources that promote eye health:
Lutein and Zeaxanthin These two carotenoids act as antioxidants in the eyes. They filter out harmful blue light and help protect the retina and macula from damage. Good dietary sources include spinach, kale, eggs, broccoli, corn, and squash. Taking a supplement is an option if dietary intake is low.
Tumblr media
Vitamin C This essential vitamin fights free radicals and inflammation in the eyes. It also helps boost collagen production which maintains the health of the cornea and blood vessels in the eyes. Citrus fruits, bell peppers, strawberries, broccoli, and potatoes are good sources of vitamin C.
Tumblr media
Vitamin E Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant that can help prevent macular degeneration and cataracts. It protects eye tissue from oxidative stress. Nuts, seeds, avocados, spinach, and fish like salmon and trout contain vitamin E.
Tumblr media
Omega-3 Fatty Acids Omega-3s like DHA and EPA have anti-inflammatory effects and help lubricate the eyes. They are found in fatty fish, walnuts, flaxseeds, and Brussels sprouts. Omega-3 supplements may also be beneficial for eye health.
Tumblr media
Zinc Zinc is needed to transport vitamin A from the liver to the retina for the production of melanin. It has been shown to help slow the progression of age-related macular degeneration. Zinc-rich foods include oysters, meat, nuts, seeds, beans, and whole grains.
Tumblr media
B Vitamins B vitamins like riboflavin, niacin, and folate can reduce the risk of age-related cataracts. Good sources are meat, fish, eggs, dairy, legumes, seeds, and fortified cereals. A B-complex vitamin can help maintain healthy levels.
Tumblr media
Practical Tips for Eye Health
In addition to a nutrient-rich diet, implementing the following habits can further support your eye health in the digital era:
1. Take regular breaks from screens. 2. Wear blue light-filtering glasses when using devices. 3. Stay hydrated to maintain optimal eye moisture. 4. Prioritize healthy sleep habits to promote overall eye well-being. 5. Schedule regular eye check-ups to monitor any changes in vision.
Tumblr media
“The future world holds boundless beauty, yet it is a lamentable pity if we are unable to behold its wonders.” The significance of eye care is paramount; safeguard them diligently. Share this article with loved ones, reminding them of its importance.
In the end, consider exploring proper eyebrow grooming device, such as iMusthav® Dual Function Brow and Facial Hair Remover MV400 or iMusthav® Mini EyeBrow Remover MV100 to enhance your appearance.

I think Randy shows very much how difficult it is to switch from a life as a Jaeger, to a life as a good human with a conscience and a strong moral compass. Its been years for Randy at this point and yet, he still struggles with how his strength, the strength that gave him the name "red reaper", is sometimes seemingly useless or at least not enough when he tries to protect the people he loves and cares about. The difficulty to understand how he was once strong enough to kill people and destroy villages without any problem and yet, when he want to do good, and protect people and places instead of destroying them, this strength isn't enough. We have seen through the Trails-Saga that former Jaegers or even former Gang-Members have unlike skills to them that can benefit them in battle when they use them for good, but not being on the bad side anymore comes with the prize of not being ruthless anymore. If the only way to protect your friend is to throw someone else into the line of fire or kill someone with your very own hands - which is something most Jaegers would do - then your moral compass will stop you and you will find that strength alone isn't enough, not when you are on the good side. And I believe it is very hard to deal with that when you once have been unbeatable and no one could stand in your way. I think Randy is especially prone to feeling this... helpless and frustrated about this helplessness, because his journey as a jager ended when his own stupidity was partly to blame for losing a friend...
Tumblr media
I have to say it again, how proud I am of how far Lloyd has become since the Crossbell-Saga and how much more I like him these days. All he has been through has changed him truly for the better and makes it so that he finally truly feels like the best leader the SSS could have. Seeing through Randys state and giving him this amazing and honest pep-talk was a wonderful example of just how much Lloyd has grown as a person, a leader and also a friend. And it was wonderful to be able to watch this growth happen over time.
Tumblr media
They are amazing! Why do they not have an S-Rank yet? They surely have the skill, the power and the experience to freaking deserve it!
Tumblr media
Seems like Estelle has turned the tables on Randys favorite joke XD
Tumblr media
And since we are both idiots why don't we promote you from "former Colleague" to "my wife"? Sounds about right, right? XD (DAMN RIGHT!)
Tumblr media
How the freaking heck did I fuck up the order so badly? I planned to finish Rufus route first, because that one sucks in this chapter but somehow I ended up finishing Reans and then Lloyds first and I do not know why at all ^^'
Tumblr media
Uh... okay? Not sure why we lose access to the corridor, but whatever...
Tumblr media
Yeah, thank you for looking after my only child, man that killed my best friend with a shot in the head from behind like a cold blooded murderer... *achem*
Tumblr media
Are they cute or what?
Tumblr media
I did not get much off all that unnecessary bullshit when I played this game with the spreadsheet and it seems like I am still lost here. So... I hope this conversation end a little bit quicker here, seeing how many lines from the whole game a quite different from the ones from the Spreadsheet...
Tumblr media
The kind heart of a murderer.... geez Falcom. I get you want to show us that EVERYONE deserves a second chance and that not everyone who does bad things is bad or stays bad forever and blah, blah, blah... but this is just ridiculous. Guy was an innocent man, a good police officer, the only family member Lloyd had in Crossbell and he was about to get married to the love of his life too. And Ian killed him. And not even in a fair fight. He shot him in the head from behind, without warning. That is even worse than what Rufus did with Lianne. How can you straight out let anyone say that he is a kind hearted men?
Tumblr media
But he totally pretended not to be XD It was all "They are fine" and "They are capable" and "I know they are alright" but this was merely him trying to convince himself at the end of the day. Our Rean Bean is still a worrywart, he just hides it way better than in the past XD
Tumblr media
Yes, lets do that before your pretty little Girlfriend here gets a panic attack...

Explore the Fun Facts about Chocolates
Are you wondering to adore chocolate and want to learn some fun chocolate facts? Well, one thing that makes life happier is chocolate. We also exchange mouthwatering treats on a day dedicated to chocolate with our loved ones. Here, you will learn about chocolate's facts and background. In this post, you will get to explore the fun facts about chocolates:
A small amount of cacao beans does not go a long way.
Survey indicates that those 30 to 60 pods are produced annually by each cacao tree. About 40 beans are found in each pod. Thus, each tree has only 2 to 3 pounds of chocolate annually. The hand-harvesting of cacao pods is another factor that contributes to the high cost of premium chocolate. You know currently Polkadot Chocolate Toblerone is one of the most sold chocolates online. Yes, now go and grab your toblerone from Palkadot.
Helps to relaxation
The smell of chocolate will increase theta brain waves, which promotes relaxation. In fact, the research found that book sales at bookstores use the aroma of chocolate, particularly for romantic novels. Additionally, chocolate includes tryptophan, which the brain utilizes to make serotonin, a hormone that promotes feelings of well-being all over. Choose the best Polkadot Chocolate Bobba Milk Tea to experience how a quality chocolate tastes like. Consequently, consuming chocolate makes you happier!
White chocolate is not chocolate.
You may wonder how it cannot be chocolate. Yes, it’s true and is not made up of cocoas. Your favourite can be a bar of white chocolate because of its sweetness and creamy taste. Here the key ingredient, cocoa, is not used in white chocolates. Palkadot understood these and created their own products like Polkadot Chocolate Whoppers to provide the best and quality chocolates. It is only made with dairy products and cream, not with cocoa.
Reasons for roasting cocoa beans
Raw cocoa lacks the flavour of chocolate. A few microorganisms that are dangerous to human bodies are also present. Therefore, the kind of chocolate we adore is created by roasting it well to obtain good flavours. Buy Polkadot Chocolate Thin Mint hence they are made from roasted beans.
Summing It Up
Every time you read about chocolate, a brand-new topic is brought up. The chocolate companies are still discovering new things which can bring with cocoa beans.
