Originally from MARVEL [EARTH-616/MCU], they made a deal with the Author hoping to find a normal life with his husband, and they’ve [been here for three years]. They’re currently [married to BUCKY ROGERS (BARNES)] and working as a MECHANIC. You might know them better as ⭒CAPTAIN AMERICA⭒, but you’ll recognize them most by their Brooklyn boy, punching fascists, ink-stained fingers, ‘til the end of the line vibe. Only you can decide the ending… ⭒♢⭒

⭒♢⭒ After the final battle with Thanos where the Avengers reversed the Blip, Steve and Bucky stayed to help Sam Wilson train to be the next Captain America. Knowing they’d never have a normal life there, they accepted the Author’s deal to live where no one had ever heard of the Avengers, and they settled down into an ordinary, domestic life. With the shield passed on, the only hero work he does now is training any of the next generation who show up. Steve's history is largely taken from the MCU, but I'm happy to work in comic connections as needed! ⭒♢⭒

a/n: I tried to continue on this bucky thing I worked on but I could only add a little bit because i couldn't think of more sorry guyss

there he was standing right in front of me. I hadn't seen him in what felt like 70 years and it has been. I could never forget those bright blue eyes in a million years, though these blue eyes weren't bright, they looked dull and empty. As if someone had sucked the soul out of them. I could hear a voice screaming at me only I couldn't make out what they were saying and right on cue I felt a sting in my stomach. it didn't particularly hurt. it felt more like a burning sensation. that feeling is practically imprinted in my brain. I knew immediately what had happened. my hands unconsciously reached for my stomach. I felt my clothes dampening around the wound. when I looked down at my hands I saw the crimson red liquid slowly starting to stain my hands. a soft exhale escaped past my lips. I again heard the voice screaming out to me. only when he stopped by my side I could make out who it was. Steve kept looking back and forth between me and the man that had fired the gun. horror and worry clearly showing on his face. when the man had run away

Steve paid his full attention to me. I saw his mouth moving but couldn't make out what he was saying. he put pressure on the wound in the lower part of my abdomen when I noticed the familiar female with shoulder-length red hair. as I looked up I vaguely saw someone flying above me with metal-looking wings. the longer I kept looking up at the sky the more tired I was getting. I could faintly make out Steve telling me to stay with us. I heard Nat's frantic voice saying that help was on the way. I hadn't noticed sam flying back up and searching if there was any sign of him, the man who had shot me. S.H.I.E.L.D. cars were driving right to us, which I internally debated if that was good or bad. Not long after the heavily armored cars stopped around us, everything faded to black.

When I slowly regained my consciousness, I noticed that we were in a moving vehicle. Apparently, Sam seemed to notice that I was conscious again as I vaguely heard him speak, 'We need to get a doctor here, if we don't put pressure on the wound their gonna bleed out here in the truck." Then out of nowhere, I heard Maria's voice. "Ah. That thing was squeezing my brain," she spoke as she took off her helmet, "Who is this guy?"

We had escaped out of the truck with a hole in the floor. When we found another car we drove to some random location, to be honest, the whole ride was kind of a blur for me. Steve helped me get out of the car when we finally arrived.
