Headcanons for Ana and Leia on Mother's Day.

Ana

Ana never had need to celebrate Mother's Day before Leia. She didn't know her biological mom and her adoptive mother wasn't great (and she got out of that house when she was still young). The closest she got were her teachers and mentors at Xavier's (and then later Pepper as a step-mom).

Suddenly, she's the one being honored and celebrated and it's a little weird at first, but she soon gets used to it. It's nice. She's not one of those mother's that has to get away from everyone on Mother's Day (to get a day of rest, although she appreciates any rest she is given). She loves spending time with her kid, especially since her work generally will take her away from Leia.

Leia

When Leia is a kid, she does all sorts of different things for mother's day. She goes out and picks flowers, she draws many pictures and makes many crafts. She even once, with the help of someone else, makes breakfast in bed for Ana. It turns out better than expected, but when Leia insists on carrying the tray, she spills a little bit of the orange juice onto the toast, soaking it through and giving it a tangy flavor. Ana loves it anyway and eats everything given to her.

As Leia gets older, she starts to buy things for her mother. She usually goes all out and gets a huge bouquet of flowers as well as lots chocolates (because Ana loves both flowers and chocolate). Sometimes she'll buy another present for her (something she saw that made her think of Ana or something she thinks that Ana needs), but Ana then always tells her that she didn't need to spend any money on her, although she appreciates the gifts nonetheless.

I don’t know if you can possibly ever fully understand just how much I love this tragic little family. ;^; don’t even get me started on how canon mcu Loki hasn’t ever met his daughter because I AM GOING TO CRY I just love how Leia is a good combo of her parents. Ugh. I just have all of these feels.

Let’s talk about little Leia Stark because I love her sooooo much and I need to tell people about her.

Her full name is Leia Gabriella Stark. Her nickname is Princess and she loves it. 

People were, understandably, a little wary of little Leia when she was born just simply due to her lineage. I mean, Loki’s daughter? Yikes, how’s she gonna be? In reality, she is the sweetest little thing and always has been. I headcanon that she pretty much has everyone on the avenger’s wrapped around her little finger. 

Tony was insistent on being called “Papa Tony.” Anything else, he felt, made him sound old. When Leia was finally able to talk, she tried her hardest to say Papa Tony......... but it always came out Pony. It has now stuck and Tony is Pony to Leia (and occasionally other members because how could you resist teasing Tony like that?). 

Everyone on the Avengers is either Auntie or Uncle. The only exception is Bruce. He’s Pop-Pop Bruce. Tony is partially jealous, but he grows out of it because Pony grows on him...

She is spoiled rotten by everyone. 

Whenever Anastasia is away on a mission or whatever, usually it’s either Pepper or Happy who watches Leia. Pepper isn’t quite as wrapped around Leia’s finger (although she cares for Leia a lot, she doesn’t over indulge the little girl). Happy pretends he doesn’t, but he’s whipped. Leia loves hanging out with Happy. He makes her laugh.
