Thinking about Billy’s main ship that’s followed him across several of his blogs (livinglightningrod, ofchampioniisms, whizkcd, wzrdchsn-- you can really tell what era’s of tumblr rp I’ve lived through huh??) Babel: aka Billy / Mabel Pines ( @diisccvery​​ ) cause it’s so soft and they’re such adorable balls of chaos and good will.

They’ve been together for years now-- both IRL and in universe, having met in their main verses and the ship kept going into their teen-young adult verses. Billy thinks the world of Mabel. She’s cool and kind, and fun, and isn’t phased by the wierdness of his profession (either as Captain Marvel or as a Superhero Podcaster) and they just vibe on this amazing level. They’re literally one of my favorite ships I’ve ever done cause it’s pretty much non-stop fluff. They’ve never had a fight or anything! Couples goals!

I think I can place Ray's birthday in early February.

Because Ray and Conny are 166 babies apart (being numbers 49118 and 49284 respectively), and 5 years apart so that's an average of 33 babies produced per year at grace hill.

33 babies a year means an average of one every 11 days - obviously some will be late and others will be early but they can control conception more than birth so I'm saying there's a due date every 11 days even if there isn't a birth.

Now, Ray's birthday is the only one that changed so everyone else's should be correct. If we assume that the day Norman was born was his due date, March 21st, then he can be our anchor.

To test this theory I went forwards from him to Emma, who is 14 babies after him. At 11 days between due dates Emma should have been due 154 days or 22 weeks after Norman was born, putting her due date on August 22nd, which, wouldn't you know, is her birthday.

Now this does kind of fall apart if I go further, this method puts Don as due in May when he was born in July, but it's not a foolproof system. Sometimes there's bound to be lulls in births, if babies don't make it or mothers don't get pregnant, so there's nothing to say that Don is a few numbers sooner than he ought to have been, and if every baby between Emma and him was a little late that would push him back as well.

But I still decided to look at Ray based on Norman. They're 4 babies apart, so due dates should be 44 days apart if my system is right, and at 44 days before March 21st, Ray's due date would have been February 5th.

There's no way of knowing if Ray was born on his due date or not, and it doesn't matter anyway because he doesn't know his birthday was changed, but I suspect that he was born in early February, rather than mid January.

today was actually mentally and emotionally one of the hardest days of my life. i had to disclose a lot to a patient where Im usually supposed to be this super composed nurse and today i just had to tell her a lot so that she could listen to me about her own mental health.
