HOW DO YOU GET THE STRAW HAT BADGE???

Ok, I'll give a step-by-step tutorial to hopefully help you because it took me a hot minute to figure it out with Tumblr's new layout.

1. While on desktop, go to TumblrMart (it's on the left side of the dash, just beneath Settings) and click on that.

2. You can either go to Badges or just stick with All because it's thankfully right there. Click the "Claim it here" button. It's free and thankfully can be added to sideblogs. When you do this, you'll be taken to this window where you click the "Claim this badge for free" button.

3. This will take you to the Edits page of your blog and you'll automatically be able to add it there. You can apparently collect multiple of the straw hat badges to add to your blog (I've heard up to 50), and they can be distributed to sideblogs too!

4. Hit save and you're good to go! If you get lost like I did the first time around, just go to your Edit Appearance page for your blog. There will be a little button under your icon that says Add Badges if you don't have any. You should be good to go!

A Few Changes

So, this year I've been trying to make some positive changes in my life. Ever since I started on the 31st, things have gotten a lot better for me, but I've been really absent on Tumblr. I'm finding that that is also somewhat distressing to me, and I want to try and remedy that.

My current solution is that I'm going to try and take certain days for my writing, and certain days for my rp blog. I have also started getting back to another couple of blogs I have and I've made the Valentino Only blog. To be fair, I've bitten off a lot and I'm not sure it'll all get chewed. A lot is going on in my day-to-day now, and until I can nail down a schedule and a permanent solution, this is the one I have.

For now, I'll reserve Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday for the rp blog. I think that will work. I'll still schedule memes and have the queue running throughout the week for days when I'm not around, and y'all're free to send me things whenever, but I will only be answering things on the aforementioned days. If I decide to answer things on other days that is left up to my discretion.

I'm hoping this will help with the inactivity here and the weird disconnect I've felt for a few days. If I am here or on another rp blog, that's also up to me.

The intention today is to be on @e-m-p-error.

okay, i may or may not commit to a Real Reboot (i made the blog but it's not flowing). but here is what i am definitely committing to:

i am no longer going to remove laura from twin peaks (canon, not necessarily town). i WILL write something up that will make this less potentially daunting to newcomers.

i am only going to focus on a few verses. other than the specific 'laura survives her injuries and goes on to Live A Life' timeline --- which is still our main priority --- they will all be canon-centric.

unless i am writing her as carrie page (which i enjoy greatly btw), she will probably still be a teenager. not definitely --- there are some storylines with other canons i still Want Here, and they may or may not end up being easier for the rest of you, too --- but i am wary of straying too far from The Narrative and my actual intentions with this blog. my main priority has always been, like, making laura Accessible To Everybody, but it just doesn't... work. like that.

relatedly, yeah, i am never gonna tag anything less liberally! and i hope that this is a safe space! but it might not be. and that's... okay, really, i think? finally? by which i mean, please take care of yourself. i don't mind if you're my best friend in the world and you don't want to follow this blog, or any blog. it will not hurt my feelings. it will not make you any less welcome anywhere else. you do not need to explain. i am extremely aware that my singles tend to be abject nightmares and i don't want to, like, spread them. that is not the goal.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES : Both. I have a habit of being verbose and end up writing extremely long replies, but short back-and-forths/headcanoning are equally as interesting to me as novella replies.

BEST TIME TO WRITE : Any time? I craft replies at work, when I'm chilling outside, between game sessions, etc. My inspiration doesn't really wane, it's more so if I can make the writing read well. Though, I can't actually post a reply unless I'm on a desktop/my laptop for formatting (unless we're on Discord).
