You know, something I've been wondering ever since that one animated trailer for Frontiers focused on Knuckles is if he and Tikal ever talk with eachother on occasion.
I honestly imagine so! In terms of canon, I think Knuckles may speak to the M.E. sometimes in the hopes of Tikal hearing him. (She always does.)
But with my little AU here, after she leaves the M.E., Tikal would definitely stop by to visit Knuckles regularly. (Honestly I would have her just live on Angel Island, if Tikal didn't feel awkward about it - like she was intruding upon Knuckles' space. But she does want to travel the world too so, eh.)

life update! <3
i got a new job! i’m working with disabled adults to teach them film and theater now! super excited!
i’m getting back into film and voice work again! streaming too!
one of my cats is having kittens! we’re scared but excited lol
new job means new opportunity to try and go back to college!
i’m in the final countdown months of wedding planning and it’s scary and exciting all at once!
a friend has encouraged me to write a novel again, so a lot of my muse has gone to that lately!
all these changes have been really exciting, especially with this whole year lately having been full of all kinds of different shit since around february. things were looking really bad for me and my family in all kinds of ways, so we’re all excited for this period of good news right now.
with all these changes, i will probably be around a lot less (less than i already have been lol sorry), but hopefully that means in the long run i’ll get more time and opportunity to be around when and where i want to!

ooc; It sounds daft and horrendously old of me, but I managed to sleep pretty well last night? xD
I haven't been sleeping very well lately for some unknown reason and last night and the night before I slept like a log, and it just improves my anxiety and my general concentration so much.
Also, I managed to call everyone on my list for today which might not sound like much but I had a bit of a phobia of phonecalls in the past due to several bad experiences, so I consider it a victory whenever I manage to make all the calls I need to in a day.

As cool as it was for them to give the Chaos Emeralds some backstory in Frontiers, it just created more questions. Like, why did the Master Emerald react to them? Why did it forcibly pull them - and subsquently the Ancients - towards Earth?
Was there already some kind of connection between them? If so, where exactly did the Master Emerald even come from?
Unless, did the emerald just sense the Chaos Emeralds in its region of space and was like "oh hey free real estate"? (Considering I headc the M.E. being somewhat sentient, this idea is kinda funny-)
