still obsessed with the idea of the walrider being stunned / unresponsive for a moment for the first time in the face of something new thrown at him.
thinking about the sort of wrath and rage that would be warranted by any and all that stand in the way of returning to his host. the absolute defiance. the tether left in his wake of being connected enough to feel his host but not return to them, and that alone is enraging. nonstop baying, shaking, smashing and screaming at all hours. after all, why would a creature like him need to pause or sleep?
wondering still too if any sort of baying screams heard if the walrider was dying, would be moments so frenzied that it would only be somehow understood by the host given the incoherency of it all and the connection. a sort of goodbye left only for them to hear in its final moments.
