Hollywood has this long, lumpy, green, extremely ugly couch in his living room and the fuckin' thing takes out almost half of the space and no one wants ever to sit on it, but the pilot doesn't want to dump it. He says it gives the place character. Goose says it's because Hollywood is too lazy to move that thing and Wolfman is even lazier. So the monstrosity stays there, no matter how many people offer to take it out.

The only person who finds it comfortable is Iceman, but Maverick thinks it's more an enduring male posture to assess he's the boss around and everyone else is too weak. At least until Ice doesn't only sit all night on that thing but fall asleep too, all 6' feet of him snuggling comfortably and Maverick can feel is heart beating a little faster because he's just as beautiful asleep as he's awake. And apparently he's the only one who notice that he's shivering a little, probably because of the air conditioner pointed at the couch. Or probably nobody notices because nobody's looking at him. He is going to ask for a blanket or something when Mav realises all his classmates are a getting ready to move the night to a bar and no one of them is the least worried about Ice. He does that, sometimes, he will probably sleep until morning, no need to fret over nothing Mitchell Slider say, with a foot already out of Hollywood's house while talking with Goose about something that makes his best friend really passionate, so probably Bradley.

The house is empty before Maverick can ask one of them where they're going and he finds himself alone with a sleeping and still shivering Iceman. The couch is big, okay? The couch is big, ugly, lumpy as hell but Maverick doesn't know where the blankets are, doesn't have his jacket with him and doesn't know how to turn of the air conditioner, so the next step is the logical one. He's sure of it. One hundred percent sure, he could bet his life on it and it will probably make Ice's sleep less cold and less cold mean more relaxed and a more relaxed Iceman is good for everyone right? Right. Okay. He sits near Ice's head, enough to share a little of his bodyheat but not close enough to actually touch him and he can already feel the other way relaxing a little bit, enough to be comfortable in his sleep. Mav himself is feeling the effect of the day and he's ready to take a nap, just enough sleep to be awake and a little more present to drive his bike home and sleep in his own bed. But Iceman couldn't be Iceman if he didn't spend all his time royally fucking all Mav's good intentions, this time fast enough that he finds himself cuddling him without even realising. Or maybe he does realise but again, he's tired and the beer is comfortably warming his stomach and he's hugging Iceman against his chest, dreaming of flying on the fastest plane every built and to win every competition he is in.

The next morning, because apparently his nap got to be a seven hours long night of sleep, Ice is still against his chest, but this time is his face against Maverick's chest and not his back. Iceman who is very awake and looking at him with a strange soft expression he never saw on his face before. He doesn't know who tries to close the distance between their faces before the other but it's only an almost kiss because Wolfman quite literally screams from the kitchen the coffee is ready if you two love bird don't want Jester to kick your asses seven ways to Sunday you have to get up!

I'm going to kill him is what Maverick says while Ice laughs against is neck, and even if they didn't kiss it's nice, he likes this. We should go on a date and then find someplace more comfortable to sleep on Ice says, or asks?, getting up. Maverick is smiling back and yeah, yeah we should.

(They're late in class and Jester is pissed. The four of them, Goose and Slider too, has to run around the base for an hour but Maverick doesn't think much of it, not when Ice smiles at him, promising to meet him at 8 pm in front of the new restaurant in town.)

Wriothesley is a busy man, he’s the Lord of the fortress of Meropide for gods sake, so the last thing he needs is more distractions.

So I raise you this:

Reader hurts themselves on a commission or something, and instead of telling their boyfriend about it and bringing him even more things to worry about, they decide to treat their wounds themselves and hide their injuries from him entirely.

When Wriothesley inevitably finds out, he scolds them and tells them that their health is always his number one priority, and that he’s more than happy to leave his work behind to take care of them.

It’s safe to say that reader always informs their boyfriend of their injuries from that point onward.

Okay. So it's no biggie to you, really. Getting a little banged up on the job? Just a regular day for an adventurer. There's no real cause for concern— no need to go to a hospital or a clinic, and certainly no need to bother Wriothesley about it. Not when he's already up to his neck with extra work since the court has just sentenced some new convicts to the Fortress.

You're a seasoned adventurer! You know how to do first aid. It's easy!

Until it gets a little bit more difficult.

Applying salve and bandaging up your arms and legs gave you no trouble. Your lower back was just a smidge bit more difficult, but nothing you couldn't do. The main difficulty, you conclude, huffing in annoyance and staring at your reflection in the bathroom of your home, is that stupid laceration between your shoulder blades that for the life of you you just couldn't reach, much less patch up and slap some gauze over. Your arms are already aching from all the stretching they've gone through, all in vain because you couldn't reach that stupid spot on your back. And to make matters worse, all the movement was beginning to make the laceration sting and you worry that any more exertion would make the scratches on your arms and shoulders open back up, which is a whole other can of worms you'd rather not deal with.

You're hyping yourself up, convincing yourself to try just one more time— no, if you're careful your wounds will absolutely not open back up and you'll definitely be able to clean up before your boyfriend gets home and—

You're so lost in your own thoughts that you don't even hear the front door opening. What does catch your attention is Wriothesley's voice from down the hall, calling that he's home and oh shit in your haste to patch yourself up you hadn't closed the bathroom door and fuck fuck fuck he's too close and you're too far from the door to slam it closed and you grimace to yourself when you see Wriothesley appear at the open bathroom door, his expression melting into one of surprise (and not the good kind) as his eyes grow wide and his mouth opens just the slightest bit, taking in the bandages wrapped around parts of your arms, parts of your legs and around your torso.

"...Hi." That's all you can come up with as your eyes meet his in the reflection of the mirror, looking both guilty and sheepish.

"...Hi," he echoes, still staring. Then it breaks, his brows furrowing with concern. You can see the questions on the tip of his tongue. Are you alright? What happened? Why didn't you call?

But instead, he approaches, taking the open salve you've placed on the counter into his own hands. "Arms down. Don't strain them," he says, giving them a gentle nudge until they fall to your side. He scoops a liberal amount of the salve up, gently covering that pest of a wound with it. The cooling sensation feels delightful on the clotted scratch, but you can't help protesting his help.

"I- I can do that, you don't..."

"I may not have to, but I certainly want to. The gauze, please, dearest." You hand it to him over your shoulder, and he takes it with a mumbled word of thanks, tending to the wound that had given you such a headache. He does it better than you ever could yourself, even laying a small kiss on the bandage that has your heart melting.

The he releases you, catching your eye in the mirror as he makes a turn around motion with his hand. "Come on, dearest, let me check on the rest of you."

You do as you're told, spinning around slowly. He helps you sit on the counter of the sink, hands careful to avoid any of your injuries where he grips your waist and hoists you up. He doesn't speak while he checks you over, hands skimming your skin so gently it almost tickles. He checks if you've done your bandages right, if you've missed any scratches or scrapes. To his relief you have not, and the only wound that you hadn't treated was the one he had helped with.

Wriothesley's checkup ends at a scratch on your face that you stuck a bandage on, and his hand gently cups your cheek when he's done. On instinct, you lean into his touch.

"You're all good. Nice job with the bandages, dearest," he says, pressing a kiss to your lips. Then he raises a brow, face turning just a bit more serious, tone becoming more like that of the duke that many people feared. "Now. Can you tell me why you tried to do it alone when you could have asked for my help?"

"Because I could have taken care of it myself." You tell him in a huff, looking away from his eyes. "You're busy and I wouldn't want to bother you over something I was capable of doing myself. It would have given you more things to worry about."

You make a pointed effort not to look at him, and Wriothesley can't help it when he laughs under his breath. "Even if I'm busy, you can always come to me for help. Work or no work, you'll always be my priority."

Before you can even protest, adamant that you would never want to willingly interrupt his workflow, the thumb of his hand comes to stroke your bottom lip, silencing you. "Nope. No if's or but's. Especially when it comes to your wellbeing, I'll never turn you away." He can feel the flustered warm that spreads through your cheek under his palm and has to stifle a smile.

"You're always worried about me, so let me worry about you too," he murmurs, giving you a peck on the forehead, and he can practically see your stubbornness crack.

"Okay," you acquiesce, sighing, but you can't deny how warm it makes you feel to have him dote on you like this. Your boyfriend, the Administrator of the Fortress of Meropide, one of the biggest softies to you and only you. "I'll come to you the next time I need anything."

"You promise?"

"Yes, Wriothesley, I promise," you exclaim, dramatically rolling your eyes, but smiling all the same.

A similar smile is reflected on his own face, and he can't help it when he feels the need to kiss you again.

"Thank you, dearest."

OK, so. Finished my first run. Gotta admit I'm not 100% satisfied with some endings. BUT NO BIGGIE, THAT'S WHAT HEADCANONS ARE FOR, DON'T WORRY I GOT A PERMIT (i'm a Dungeon Master) SO LET'S GO, HC TIME D&D STYLE BC WE STILL GOT 8 LEVELS TO GO: (spoilers for BG3 and Descent Into Avernus going forward)

They'd all stay together and continue to go on adventures, the 8 of them, Tav, Lae'zel, Shadowheart, Gale, Astarion, Wyll, Karlach and Halsin. Found Families stay together. (I do enjoy the polyship aspect too, so just throwing it out there) There's an exchange you can have ingame with an NPC in the Guild and Tav will say the party's name is Wormskulls and I love it. I do also love Tadfools. Maybe they are Wormskulls to the general public and Tadfools to their close friends and allies lol. After the tadpoles are gone I think it would be very useful for them to commission earrings enchanted with Rary's Telepathic Bond. Less invasive than a mindflayer tadpole and just as useful. Also symbolic for Gale. I think the earring would have a pendant of a skull with a serpent coming out of its eye and being bitten by the teeth.

OK SO, my girl Karlach. I haven't romanced her yet, gonna do a run for that. But she's not dying on my watch. She's going back to Avernus, BUT YOU CAN BE SO SURE THAT THE MOMENT THE WHOLE PARTY IS READY WE'RE KICKING DOWN ZARIEL'S DOOR AND KICKING HER ASS. Or giving her her sword back and possibly turning her back into an Angel, something that whatever party of adventurers that managed to save BG and Elturel in Descent Into Avernus CLEARLY didn't do, it would probably not only nullify Mizora's contract with Wyll bc Zariel is now a completely different entity, if you decided to redo Wyll's contract with her, but also would give us a better chance of Zariel taking the infernal engine out of Karlach herself. Maybe turning Wyll into a Devotion Paladin? (more details about Zariel here) I'd ask Jaheira and Minsc to take care of Scratch and Albie (owlbear cub) because the Hells is no place for pets. Even very brave ones. Maybe Halsin's "ending" fits here, taking care of the pets and the kids while everyone goes to Avernus, they leave him with a Sending Stone. And when they are back he's there waiting for them. 🥺

If we saved Duke Ravengard and broke Wyll's contract. (or didn't but are hcing that we broke his contract by defeating/unmaking Zariel) what does that mean to Wyll? I think it be super cool to go more in depth about it. How does he reconsile with his father? Does he accept to be reinstated as heir and becomes the Duke right away or does he think it's best for his father to continue his role a bit longer? Does he even want to be Duke or does he think he can serve the people of the Sword Coast better as an adventurer? If he turns into a Duke, what sort of benefit does that give an adventuring party?

Finding something to make Astarion able to walk in the sun again I've seen people talk about the Ring of the Sun-Walker as if it's from the 5e books, it's not, it's homebrew. HOWEVER, any freaking DM with a heart would create something similar for their player to continue playing without being afraid of dying instantly bc of the sun. The Cloak of Dragomir is canon to the Baldur's Gate videogame universe, so it be a good tie in, but it would be a temporary solution at best since it penalizes the player quite harshly, Strength: -6, Dexterity: -4, Intelligence: -2, Wisdom: -2, Charisma: -4 and Vampire Regeneration divided by 3, to 1 HP per 3 rounds. That being said, I wouldn't make it TOO easy to obtain as there are other ways for Astarion to be safe, like the Darkness spell. It would be interesting to see him (and Tav) struggle a little bit more, really feel the sacrifice Astarion made by rejecting the Ascendance even after they find something to combat the Sunlight Hypersensitivity. Astarion's biological family would be something very interesting to explore in the future. They would be Elves themselves and are most likely still alive, we even have a surname thanks to people analyzing the shit out of that tombstone: Ancunín. As a DM I wouldn't wait for a player to decide to search for these people, I'd throw them at the players! Strolling through the Upper City in a quick shopping trip? You hear a loud gasp, things clattering and bumping into the ground, hurried desperate steps and then someone sobbing "Astarion?? Astarion is that you?!" What do you do?

Visiting Waterdeep and Morena Dekarios. This woman deserves to see her son again, and Gale deserves to finally go back home and see his mom without the burden of an ancient artifact lodged in his chest and a goddess wanting him to kill himself. Would he stay? I'm not sure, he went through an entire Hero's Journey and maybe now home, although pleasant, is not as comforting anymore. Waterdeep is the element of Gale of Waterdeep and he's not him anymore. I think this would be a great premise for a roleplay focused arc. Gale is invited to the Blackstaff Ball for the first time since Mystra shunned him, the Wormskulls are famous now, The New Heros of Baldur's Gate (Gala Episode anyone? All of them SLAYIN with their fits? Poor Halsin totally out of his element). He's once again welcomed into the society of the Lord Mage of Waterdeep and his peers seem to have all but forgotten he was ever a pariah. Is that what he wants? And Waterdeep has many opportunities for more adventure. A paranoid Beholder underground anyone?

Kill the Lich Queen (CLASSIC D&D). Vlaakith IS FINISHED. TIME TO SPELLJAM AND BE SPACE PIRATES YALL. Lae'zel deserves to see this through to the END.

Shadowheart goes through another journey to find out if she wants to truly embrace Selûne or maybe become another thing entirely. Selûne should reach out or Isobel and Dame Aylin would help her out. Or maybe Shadowheart is tired of being a Cleric and following a god. But change and inconsistency is something that is under Selûne's portfolio, she's often followed by those who are lost, so I think she'd find more than fitting for Shadowheart to be a cautious and weary follower of her.

Your Tav's personal stuff. The Dark Urge sounds amazing and I can't wait to do a run with them, but I think most of us got very attached to our Original Characters Do No Steal. So I'm excited to see what people come up with for their Tavs. Otessa, my Tav, doesn't know her dad was a pirate, he never told her, so I expect that his past will come bite him in the ass and she'll have to help him out of that pickle.

When the party has reached level 17, Gale has access to the Wish spell. And I really do think they'd use it to get rid of Astarion's undeath. As a DM I wouldn't let Gale simply get the spell outright, he'd have to research it. Not only that, I don't think Astarion would be totally free of undeath, some remnant of it would linger, he'd probably turn into an Elf that needs blood to survive and is forever locked out of the Call of Arvandor or something. But he'd be mortal and would be able to walk in the sun without that ring, cross bodies of water, wouldn't instadie from pointy wood objects in the chest etc. (i'm writing a little one-shot about this, should post it soon)

there was a knock on spencers door at 10pm, he wasn't expecting anyone, it was weird. but he goes to the door anyway, he looks out the peephole to see his neighbour and a strange man beside her. she keeps apologizing, so he opens the door cautiously, "Y/N?"

"hey, roomie, I'm so sorry did I wake you? I forgot my keys," she says with confidence, knowing spencer would be able to read her expression. she needs help.

he heard her leave earlier, no one picked her up, she was all dressed up and she looked good. she always did. he loved talking to her in the hallway and by the mailboxes, he'd be lying if he said he didn't have a small crush on her... "no, I was working on some files for work, it's no biggy... who's this?"

"oh, this is Neill, he was just dropping me off," she smiles and starts to walk into Spencer's apartment.

"I-" the man reaches out for her. "what the hell?"

"What?" she stands between the two men, almost inside the apartment but not quite, "it was a nice date, I had a good time?"

"I paid a hundred dollars for your meal? don't you think--" the man grabs her arm, frustrated that he's not getting his way and spencer loses it.

he tugs Y/N inside and steps into the man's space, pushing him from the doorway, "touch her again and I promise it'll be the last thing you ever do. she doesn't owe you a thing," Spencer raises his voice slightly, stern and strong and in his face, he towers over the guy.

"Sorry," he cowers and looks past him at Y/N, "I'll call you?"

"don't," Spencer answers for her. "don't contact her ever again, get going."

the man rushes down the stairs and spencer shuts the door quickly, "are you okay?"

she nods, "I knew he'd do that, I told him I didn't want him to walk me home but he insisted and I knew it. I knew he'd want more because of that stupid place he picked for dinner."

"it's not your fault, he's the problem, I'm sorry," Spencer reaches out and places his hand on her arm. "you can stay as long as you need, do you want tea? coffee?"

she smiles, "tea would be nice... and thank you, really. I remembered you said you caught creeps for a living and thought you'd be able to help."

"Always," he assures her. "I mean, you could use me as a cover from now on, pending I'm your roommate to get away from them or I could help you solve this problem altogether..."

"How?" she doesn't catch on right away.

"I could take you on a date and then you'd stop having to try and make it work with weirdos like him," Spencer suggests. "I've been meaning to ask for a while now."

she lights right up, "really? yeah, yes! yes. I'd love to go on a date with you?"

he can't believe it worked, he smiles so big, proud of himself. he places the kettle on his stove and turns it on, "are you busy this weekend?"

she shakes her head, "nope, I'm all yours doctor Reid."

yourusername Thank You so much for the concern! I am not leaving the opener position for LOT due to any kind of issue or rift between me or any band members.(yes, including Harry.) Unfortunately there was a scheduling error on both of our teams parts where my projects will overlap with the tour. Those projects require me to be at home in the US, unfortunately so I will have to say an early goodbye. Still going to make these next few shows the best I can though! Love the LOT band! 😊💞

When you have the (reasonable) fears or doubts about some of his ‘friends’ he just laughs and says that theyre harmless!!

When you ask atsushi about it he tells you about that one time he was assigned to work with kenji and how he absolutely REKT those gange members

You never question kenji about his friends after that,okay maybe not never but you do it significantly less.

He knows your ability is hella strong so he doesn’t really worry about you keeping yourself safe much.

And after you get a bit of training from the agency members he’s even more sure of you!

But if by chance you get captured or are in actual active danger,he loses his cool.

He wants to protect the people he cares about but he also knows he needs a clear head.

So after Kunikida gives the team a plan of action,kenji leads the charge.

If you’re in mortal danger he may not even wait for the agency to give him a plan of action.

Kunikida knows he cant stop him so he just sends atsushi and dazai with him.

For dates, other than the aforementioned restaurant trips i think he’d love taking you to parks or places close to nature.

He’d teach you everything he knows and would tell you all about his family and farm

Loved telling you about his cows tbh.

He also gives really tight hugs!

Like the kid will pick you up and spin you around! I mean he can, so why would he not!

The rest of the agency think y’all are cute af

Kyouka loves that there’s someone else her age too!
