Subscribe to my highly hc divergent albedo agenda......

In my characterization of Albedo he and Durin are united. They share a mind, making Albedo part draconic. He is not human. He was made from chalk.He is able to hear Durin in his head, it gets louder the closer he is to dragonspine, and he refers to him as "Brother".This is information only known by him, he doesn't share it unless extremely close to someone.When Albedo grows angry or has any intense emotions, his eyes turn red. Taking in more draconic features and behaviors makes him act less "human" than he usually does, which pushes him to losing control, so he conceals it. Welcome to my dragon Albedo canon.

He also tends to have minor draconic tendencies such as being highly territorial (with his space, partners and sometimes belongings). he has a very very keen sense of smell.

Aether sees Lumine at the end of the entire journey when they’re finally reunited and ready to go and Lumine is fucking yolked from all the physical labor they’ve been exposed to, including: fighting a dragon, fighting thousands of hilichurls, wood chopping, fishing, hunting, carrying around a ton of shit, fighting a white boy, fighting several hundred angry fantasy russians, fighting cubes that shoot out laser beams, among other fun things.
