random könig headcanons <3

☼ könig takes long showers to decompress after work. he'll be in for about 30 minutes, just letting the hot water beat on his sore back. occasionally you'll come to check on him and just see him leaning against the wall with his head down, the water rinsing away the stress of work. he always smells so good too, like fresh laundry and a hint of versace cologne.

one of his dreams is to have a shower bench so he can sit and relax, but then he won't want to leave the water!

☼ his house is small and quiet. two bedrooms, the 2nd is being used as his home office filled with old papers, files, and books. his furniture is basic, walnut woods with white and grey is his theme. cat toys are strewn about from his little girls, accompanied by large cat trees and scratchers. ambient lighting is his best friend, könig never has the main lights on! he has a nice lamp in every room that he uses instead.

☼ speaking of his little girls! könig has 2 black cats that are his entire world! they're both females around 4 or 5 years old, and he assumes they're siblings. they were neighborhood strays before he went through the long process of getting them to trust him before finally bringing them in. they're the calmest cats ever, spending most of their time relaxing on the nearest surface to observe könig as he moves about life. he takes the absolute best care of them :)

☼ könig wears reading glasses! his eyesight gradually decreased as he got older, a total farsighted babe. it started showing when you would try to show him something on your phone and he'd have to squint and hold it further away to be able to see it properly.

"babe... you might need glasses," you say, watching as he holds your phone back, attempting to read the tiny words but it's blurry to him.

"mm, i can see just fine."

"sure..."

and then he comes home with glasses a few weeks later! see fine my ass...

You did it and you aren’t even dating him, and even if you two never dated you’d still have broken it before I even figured out how to, he’s not even that different from my love why ?!?!

But it was my burden to bare, it doesn’t feel like a moment of celebration…especially because I don’t love him. This isn’t my break through, it’s yours. You broke it, I’m still here. Cycling through. It’s unfair. Why am I even still here? Hehe….they wouldn’t even notice if we switched places…all he would notice is that his annoying little “partner” suddenly became much less annoying and leaves them alone. “Finally!” Theyd think, “I get to do what I want, when I want, whenever I want, just like I wanted to” why am I even still here?

totally self insert but hey why not? (this is more in reference to my 3c hair but i can do other pattern specific ones later)

☼ simon loves your hair so much! it's always soft and smells good, and he likes how it bounces when you move, just adding to your beauty. he loves your hair down and natural, but he loves when you wear it up and try new hairstyles. one thing he likes is when you wear your hair in a loose top bun and small coils hang down in front of your ears, too short to stay in the elastic.

☼ you have to explain to him that curly hair isn't like straight or wavy, and it can't be overly touched or manipulated without becoming frizzy. this breaks him, he just wants to play with your hair and massage your scalp! he takes total advantage of it when you finally let him have a scalp rubbing session before you're due to style it again. plus who can deny it when it feels so good?

instead of actually playing with your hair, he gets into the habit of petting you or just placing his hand on your head. simon doesn't want to mess anything up so he makes sure to be gentle!

☼ now, he likes when you straighten your hair, giving yourself a new look for a few days, but your natural pattern is just mesmerizing to him. the shrinkage is real though, your hair finally showing its true length to him. so don't even think about complaining about it being short while curly! he'll softly pull a strand, exposing the extra length with a shake of his head.

"s'plenty long, dove. just shrinks is all," he reminds you.

☼ he knows nothing about how to properly take care of curly hair, but is always willing to learn when you tell him. simon even helps out on your wash days sometimes, learning how to layer product and style it just like you do. it's just another way for him to take care of you.
