HIATUS - 1. September.

I am going on hiatus/semi-hiatus from now until ( probably ) September. I simply don't have the time or opportunity to be online. I don't have internet and mobile data is hella expensive. I feel it's better to just put my blogs on hiatus. I probably won't answer my IMs or discord messages.      The one canon fact I will never accept is that Nnoitra supposedly weighs 93kg ( 205lbs ) .

     PLOTLINE / AU / VERSE INTEREST CHECK FOR THE BLEACH RPC!

As we all know, the Bleach storyline is mostly centered around war. It’s a big part of our characters’ lives. Now, for those of us who are not reading the novels / our characters are not relevant there, our characters don’t have anything to do. What if we threw them into a new war? 

The basic idea ( very much open for changes, inputs, additions ect ). 

Soul Society is part of a larger Soul Society. In canon it’s called the “East Branch”. There is also a mention of a “West Branch”, but we know nothing of any “North Branch” or “South Branch”. These seem like excellent candidates for an ENEMY. Soul Society certainly have a lot of flaws, maybe someone thinks it’s finally time to make a change. The North Branch and South Branch come together to overthrow Soul Society and ( the East Branch ) and create a new system. A different policy when it comes to dealing with Hollow, and a different set of ruling over the souls that live in Soul Society. Similar to how, in real life, countries have used military force to overthrow governments they deemed as inhuman. 

What does it mean for SHINIGAMI characters? - Soul Society will be at war. This means powerful, Captain-class enemies to fight. Also there is the moral dilemma - Soul Society certainly has its flaws, do they feel like they are on the right side of history here? A planned part of the New Regime ( if they win the war ) will be to actively hunt Hollow. Which means that a great deal of those who can be considered ‘ foot soldiers ‘ in Gotei 13 will be put into danger. Lower ranked Shinigami might have conflicting feelings about such an eventuality? Captains might not want such a fate for their subordinates?

What does it mean for HOLLOW characters? - The New Regime, if they manage to overtake Soul Society, are planning on frequently invading Hueco Mundo to purify ( essentially kill ) Hollow. Which means that while Hollow are typically not allies of Soul Society... The enemy of my enemy is my friend? There will also be invasions of Hueco Mundo because the New Regime wants to prove a point - that Hollow should be hunted in their own world.

What does it mean for QUINCY characters? - One of the way the New Regime obtain powers for their soldiers is by capturing Quincy. Their Technology department is able to extract Quincy powers and place them into Zanpakuto. After several “copies” of the Quincy’s powers have been made, the Quincy will die. This means that any Quincy is extremely valuable, and will be hunted and ( maybe ) captured?

What does it mean for HUMAN characters? - When Hueco Mundo no longer becomes a safe place for Hollow to be, they’ll start to appear more frequently in the World of the Living. This means that Shinigami will appear here more often as well, to try to save humans from Hollow. For gifted humans, it’s good if they can do their part in protecting their fellow humans.

Is this plotline / au / verse something you’d be interested in joining? If more people join, we can have bigger plots, send each other asks about stuff - write lots of angst - , help each other out with establishing the ‘ canon ‘ in the verse. If several people want to join, I’ll put up a blog to keep all the information on. Everyone will be able to contribute with their own ideas, plots and npc characters that our muses will be fighting.
