अग्नि परीक्षा!

सही हुआ उसके घर बेटी न हुई बेटी पाने योग्य होता वो कैसे कभी

जिसने स्त्री की मान मर्यादा एवं प्रतिष्ठा का मोल ही न जाना कभी!

उसका साथ निभाने के लिए ही तो पत्नी बसा संसार छोड़ हुई बेघर

डूबी उसके प्रेम में बस चल दी उसके संग भटकने हर बस्ती हर नगर!

ख़ाक छानती रही वो पहाड़ों की जंगलों में घूमती फिरी थी हर डगर

क्या मान सम्मान किया पत्नी का उसने क्या त्याग की हुई थी कदर!

पवित्रता की परीक्षा देकर भी अविश्वास मिला बलिदान हुए विफल

बस त्याग दिया उसने उसे किसी के कुछ व्यंग्य भरे शब्द ही सुनकर!

सिर्फ़ औरत ही लटकी रहती है अधर में उसकी साख रहे कसौटी पर

क्यों उसके बेदाग़ आँचल का निर्णय होगा मर्द की मर्ज़ी पर ही निर्भर!

क्यों प्रश्न नहीं होता मर्द से भी उसकी पवित्रता की परीक्षा को लेकर

क्यों मर्द भी इस पीड़ा से नहीं गुजरता वो भी नहीं कोई पवित्र सरोवर!

उसे श्रापित ही कहूँगा जो बेटी से वंचित रहा ये बात चाहे न मानें सभी

कर्मफल भोगना ही पड़ता है देर भले ही हो चाहे तो कभी यूँ बस अभी!

फूल!

दिल के फ़र्श पे बिखरे फूलों का हश्र क्या है

ग़र मसले जाने से कभी कहीं वो बच भी गये

मुरझाना ही बस उनकी क़िस्मत में लिखा है!

ये दिल के फ़र्श पर जो तुमने फूल बिछाए हैं

सारी की सारी ही जगह घेर रक्खी है उन्होंने

अब तुम ही बताओ तुम कैसे बचाओगी उन्हें!

जब कोई तुम्हारे दिल में कभी चला आयेगा

किसी फूल पर तो उसका पैर पड़ ही जाएगा

जाने अंजाने में ही कोई फूल मसला जाएगा!

बेहतर होता ग़र तरतीब से तुमने बिछाए होते

काश कोई पगडंडियाँ बनाती चलने के लिए

ताकि कभी तुम्हारे दिल में कोई आता जाता

फूल न मसले जाते उस शख़्स के पाँवों तले!

यह किसी के भी तो इख़्तियार की बात नहीं

दर्द तो होगा ही तुम उससे कैसे बच पाओगी

किसी से भी तुम्हारे दिल को देखा न जाएगा

जो ग़म में डूबा हो मसले फूलों का दर्द लिए

ग़र तुम अपना दर्द किसी से कह न पाओगी!

कितनी भी कोशिश क्यों न अब कर ले कोई

इन बिखरे फूलों पे पाँव उसके पड़ ही जाएँगे

ग़र इन फूलों के साथ डंडियों पे काँटे भी होंगे

आने वाले के पाँव भी तो लहूलुहान हो जाएँगे!

तुम आने जाने वालों की सहूलियत भी सोचो

क्यों न तुम इन फूलों को तरतीब से लगा लो

ग़र मुमकिन हो काँटे हटा पगडंडियाँ बना लो!

न आने जाने वाला कोई शख़्स ज़ख़्मी होगा

न कोई फूल किसी शख़्स से मसला जाएगा

न उसका दर्द-ओ-ग़म तुम्हारा दिल रुलाएगा!
