Oh this reminds me of the final fight in Trigun 98, how the angel arms would cancel each other out when both used at the same time! I wonder if this was an inspiration for that part in the fight

Here we go, Livio vs Elendira. I bet this will be an interesting fight! I do really hope that Elendira doesnt actually die here, shes such a cool character but I understand if its the only way to stop her

Man what a good volume, how Elendira fights is pretty interesting. Even though Livio definitely isnt as strong fighting wise as Razlo, its still crazy to see the difference in strength. Shes a badass person. Although the whole thing with the actual nuke worries me a bit lol

I love how Livio has really become his own person and he is such a sweet guy. Such a shame Wolfwood couldnt see Livio like this

Im wondering since there is 3 volumes left, I bet the next one is gonna wrap things up with Legato and Elendira and maybe the start of the fight between Knives and Vash? Something bad is gonna happen for sure between Knives and the spaceships. But who knows, they seem to have seen what Knives is doing before so maybe they have a way to combat it.

Very interesting way to start wrapping up the story, I guess we will see how the next volumes goes

Forgettful Church anon again, back from the library! I Did remember my library card but I forgot my credit card and had a late fee so I Still couldn't borrow their Usagi Yojimbo comic. I still read it, just felt mad. Anyway! Usagi! I read a translated compilation of book one and two? I fricking loved it. He's both heavy(?) and a bit silly, everything is very melancholy and also goofy, I get wiplash. In one he kills seven flies as a power move, another, he visits his home village (angst central)

(forgettful anon cont) like God. The way his return to his old home village was probably the standout part for me. Like, yeah, the ghost and monster stuff is cool, and his rivalry with this bounty hunter is funny but like. *feelings* man! And the end reveal, that they both kept those keepsakes, all those years!! On their person all the time! The thing about how she's better than Usagi at following the code? Duty vs Love? God it was more setup/hints than exploration™ and I Still went coco over it

IT'S A LOT. the love and duty thing makes me crazy. and yeah!! it's SILLY!!! it's a heavy comic set in a time where life is cheap and death is common, and also he fights off some assholes with a couple of fish. issue 1 he fights someone who was once across a battlefield from him and became corrupted into a monster by only cultivating hate and bitterness for the next three years, and issue 2 he runs into a tiny godzilla. the stories where usagi goes home (there are a few different times) and learns all over again that it's not a place he gets to call home anymore is. AGH. those are my favorites. i love mariko and kenichi and jotaro all so much, and how messy that whole situation gets, and how under the layers of all the societal pressures and considerations there's a very deep and genuine care. also mariko defense squad 2kalways. #MarikoDidNothingWrong.

Do I like writing romance plots: fuck yes. FUCK YES. Everything I’ve written so far has had a romance plot; any future WIPs will have romance plots (except for the one (1) I have planned that is solely platonic love- but a LOT of it). I’m kind of a hopeful romantic myself; When I was in fandoms, I was the biggest shipper; novels with romance plots are my shit; my mom force fed me rom com after rom com when I was a kid. My all time fave movie is the princess bride. Who woulda known, am I right?

For the second question, what are your characters motivators...

Victor; seeing how hard his mom works simultaneously motivates him and depresses him. Motivates him to keep up his school work and job so she doesn’t have to work so hard, and depresses him because she works so hard and still can’t have nice things.

Rubelin; something that motivates her is the knowledge that her parents love her; they may be distant and work too much but they care for her; they got her on estrogen, they send her i love you texts half way through every school day; they leave her new science journals on the kitchen counter. What really motivates her is making sure things stay like this, she’s gotta keep it perfect so they don’t leave.

Cecora; art. Seeing art, making art, it’s all the same. Anything artistic shows her that people are important and can make a difference, including her. It shows her that someday, people will see her for her, and love her for it.

Thanatos; doesn’t really have a motivator. He stays alive to stay alive. He does his job because it’s what he has to.

Hades; Thanatos is a big motivator for hades, in the way that he can actually talk to someone and have someone who also isn’t accepted or loved by anyone else. It helps, in a sad sort of way, that someone feels the pain you do.

Persephone; the beauty she creates. Sometimes she feels that her powers are too weak and unimportant, but then she sees mortals smile and laugh in her flowering fields and she feels better.

2. Super Speed that comes with fast reflexes 

3. Enhanced leg strength

4. Durability 

Weakness: She can only run in short burst before burning out can be manipulated by crushes. She has anxiety has a hard time calming down when something bad happens. She usually prefers chilling in the background in big groups. Yet is not too shy that she won't do dangerous stupid stunts. She actually loves dares to do crazy things.

 Personality: She is a moody morning person and only truly wakes up after listening to music on the way to school. She often stay after class to help clean up if you got to know her closely you'd find she has a sassy side and can be good with comebacks. And when around close friends she's really goofy and if she really likes you she'll try to make you smile. She loves motivating other to do their best. cares really for friends and family loyal as hell. She's kinda more on the girly side but is kinda tomboyish and is not afraid to get dirty. 

 Backstory: Dexter wanted a child so he built a machine that was like an artificial womb he tried creating a child using only some of his DNA and a tiny piece of DNA from his ex but was not successful. So he ask Blossom who was a colleague of his. To be an egg donner Blossom somewhat was reluctant at first. And did not really knowing why Dexter chose her but latter on said yes. after thinking it over and having a serious talk with Dexter to see if he truly would be a suitable father. As well as what roll she possibly be in the baby's life. Not that she wasn't already busy raising Alex her own child . but she was willing to help support Dexter if needed. 

Childhood: As a Baby and toddler Destiny was pretty wild in spirit and asked a lot of questions. To both they joy and annoyance of her father. Unlike Dexter she was really athletic and energetic and begged her Dad to let her do a lot of extracurricular activities in school,often times telling him that colleges preferred students who were well rounded and not just intelligent. In school she's somewhat popular since she a star player on the girls basket ball team at school. But surprisingly doesn't have many friends besides her cousin Gigi and Adam. This was mostly due to her lack of self confidence to make friends since she was picked on in school. She often looked to Gigi for beauty tips and sometimes help her make gadget. Even sometimes cheer on her cheerleader cousin at games often filming her. The two of them being as close as siblings. 

Current day: Destiny still has a pretty good life some of that changes when she goes to a party after one of her games. When a guy bets her in to a match her powers from her Chemical X gene activates and when she runs up to dunk the ball she throws herself into a portal which then dropped her in the pool in that back yard. When she got home Dexter then ran test on her to see if she had other abilities. He then placed rules telling her that she couldn't use her powers around the house . unless she was actually helping out doing house hold chores. But Destiny really wanted to try out her new powers so she starts doing test runs, but latter when she sees Tricia's lackeys ganging up on Adam she stops them using her super speed. She latter tells her Dad about what she's been doing and tells him she wants to be a superhero. He helps her to design a costume that would help her conceal her identity and it would warn her if she reached her physical limits.
