MY MUSE’S PHILOSOPHY MEME!

♛ : If your muse were a ruler, how would they use their power?

First things first, FREAK OUT. Morgana’s not so much an obvious, forefront leader as a secondary aid or behind-the-scenes leader, using “a puppet” in front of her to be the face of her rule. Morgana has a lot of ideas, but she also doesn’t believe in mob mentality...given her...family’s history dealing with Monster purists versus Pitchfork-wielding “Normies.”

Morgana feels that enterprise should be 100% free and the harder you work, the more you get to keep, and no one should piggy back on your success...But she also feels that people need help now and then, so that help should be delved out according to case by case. She is a sucker for the most defenseless like kids & elderly, so she’d focus a lot on children’s rights and getting them proper education, medical care if they have special needs that can’t be advocated, balanced meals, and support if escaping abusive homes, etc. Same for wayward monsters and normies alike that need reform or help reentering the workplace!!! She will apply all her advantages to others like her, that switched sides and need a new start. So she’d be very “both sides-balance” driven, but the pressures would get to her, and she’d end up spelling everyone into “silent suspension” until she could figure things out. She’d start a NEW cabinet with both monsters and normies. You can bet she’d be very lenient and play favorites for DwD and crew. Crime would be cracked down on HEAVILY. And that’s all I’ll say about THAT.

She’s also super suspicious of the “normie medical community” and would ruck through that world like a tornado demanding cures she knows they have, but sit on. And if not, dish out magical cures that could help, even if they’re risky to try out on normies.

Wordgirl Crossover Idea #2

So a while back, I watched the old Darkwing Duck series after it was mentioned and a few episodes about the show were featured on the Ducktales remake. (I watched the whole Ducktales remake for the sole purpose of them having David Tennant and Ben Schwartz working together as voice actors who are my favorites.) I also found a while back a few tumblr blogs, one called @darkwingsimonau where this person created posts that have Simon a.k.a, the Ice King from Adventure Time be Darkwing Duck and Marceline be Gosalyn. So since there have been many Wordgirl focused posts and animatics that make a similar connection between the relationship of Dr. Two Brains and Wordgirl with the relationship of the Ice King and Marceline, and Tom Kenny voiced both Dr. Two Brains and the Ice King, I thought, why not make a Darkwing Duck/Wordgirl au out of this. So here is the Wordgirl canon characters put in the position of the Darkwing Duck characters. Note: this idea was a lot easier to make than the O.K. KO Let’s Be Heroes Crossover Idea

Disclaimer: I do not own the characters from Darkwing Duck and Wordgirl. Darkwing Duck belongs to Disney and Wordgirl belongs to Soup 2 Nuts. This post was inspired by @darkwingsimonau au blog.

Note: Most of the Villains of Darkwing Duck I matched with the listed Wordgirl Villains based on the personality similarities I noticed in both shows. Same with the other characters in the show. The most difficulty I had with this au is placing the Muddlefoots. It was a decision between the Botsfords (no relation to Becky in this au, just have similar last names) or the Bests (I found the Muddlefoots, except Honker, annoying characters as well and I don’t particularly like the Bests either.) There personalities match a little more with the Botsfords, and the kids, depending on families may be biological or adopted in this au. So I am just going to leave them out for now. I may come back to this later when I have a definitive answer. There is not much of a focus on other families personalities and functions in Wordgirl so I am stuck with these two for now unless anyone has any other suggestions.

Quackerjack finds out someone has been making bootlegs of his Special Quackerjack brand toys and he is pissed

Morgana Macawber was having a really bad day.

She had been snatched from her home once again by Negaduck. She was tied to an uncomfortable chair. Her wrists and ankles were sore from her struggles against the rope. And now, a door was opening.

"Well, well, well. Look what we have here." And there was Negaduck, stalking out of the shadows, sharp teeth bared to rip out her throat. "It's good to see you again, Morgs."

"I wish I could say the same, but the years of therapy-" Before she could continue, a loud scream cut her off. The sinister atmosphere disappeared as they stared at each other in confusion.

Then there was another scream, but this time she could make out the emotion.

It was pure rage.

"Quackerjack!" Negaduck snapped. "What are you doing, you idiot?!"

"THEY MADE KNOCKOFFS!" There was the sound of movement. "THEY MADE KNOCKOFFFFFFFSSSS!" There was the sound of squeaky shoes being put on.

Negaduck groaned before yelling "What are you doing?!"

There was another yell. "EITHER GOING OUT FOR ICE CREAM OR TO COMMIT A MURDER, MR. BANANA BRAIN AND I WILL DECIDE ON THE WAY!"

The slam of what must've been an outside door finished that conversation.

It’s too early for me to go overboard with the OC designs, but here are some weird half-monster/half-fae elemental witch ducks that are some cousins of Morgana Macawber, quadruplet daughters of her uncle Mattias.

No one in the family knows who their mother is, as Mattias is incredibly adverse to speaking of her. The only one who really got him to actually speak of her is the youngest daughter, and that’s because during an argument, Mattias inadvertently blurted out to her that she was too much like her faerie mother. It was a shock, since the monster and faerie realms detest each other and remain separate (there is some overlap with both worlds having things like goblins and trolls).

Regardless, these girls exist, and they’re a bunch of living blurred lines that have had their monster peers sense something off, but ultimately ignore it because they’re spooky enough... except that last one. She’s weird.

Undine is the eldest, a duck-fish with water magic. She’s a nasty queen bee, delighting in having control of any situation... or any person for that matter. In any group, she’s the leader and brains, though she’s not above going gaga over shiny things, being fashionable, and spa days. Still, she has a way of hitting like a tsunami, and she has a temper like the raging sea.

Ashmay is the second one, a dragon-esque being with fire magic. Ironically, she’s a deadpan ice queen with a penchant for sarcasm. Her showing off is more casual than anything, and when she’s mad, she doesn’t go crazy; she’ll just snap her fingers and set fire to you or whatever you value at the moment. Still, even if she shows little emotion, she is a little willing to share a little warmth in a good mood.

Zephra is the third, a Mothman-type being with wind magic. She’s not a bright one. Although she’s an avid fighter (be it wrestling or with her wind), she’s prone to distraction or missing the point. Regardless, she’s a bold, tough girl who’s not one to take insults lying down (if she can tell they’re insults), and can either be an attack dog or just a big puppy who plays too rough.

Rosella is the youngest, who seems to be just a regular witch with some Gorgon-esque features when she cares to display them (snake-like hair, sharp teeth and claws, a petrifying glare), and has earth magic. However, unlike her sisters, who all embrace their dark, ghoulish society and have ghoulish interests, her interests lie in the bright, cheerful, and natural. She’s a curious, optimistic soul, willing to learn more about others outside monster society and try new things. She’ll do the dirty work of making a colorful, fairy-esque garden bloom, collect items from other realms, and wear colorful clothing because she thinks it’s pretty. She’s also pretty talkative and excitable. It’s for these reasons why she’s considered an embarrassment to the family and is an outcast of monster society. She’s pretty lonely, with only a rock cat for a companion, and just wants someone to listen and somewhere to belong.

ok here’s my circus AU character notes if you’re curious

Townies:

Darkwing is a private investigator. DRAKE MALLARD PI. He has an adopted daughter, Gosalyn who is really rough around the edges from being kind of a street urchan orphan for most of her life

Herb Muddlefoot owns the butchershop next door to Drake’s office, his son Honker is gosalyn’s best friend. He’s basically the same.

Morgana Macawber is an heiress living in town, a femme fatale, who’s come to Drake’s office, desperate, because her father’s disappeared.

Negaduck (I’ll prob have to give him a real name) is the leader of a local gang who shakes down businesses for protection money, robs banks, general mayhem. He loves chaos and cash in that order. He’s not the big crime boss, the big crime boss is taurus bulba, Neg’s is more of a lucky luciano type figure

other members of this gang include ammonia pine, who is famous for cleaning up crime scenes, moliarty, hammerhead hannigan and others

Circus Folk:

Ham String owns the circus, but doesn’t really pay much attention to its daily running, only to the bottom line

The Liquidator is the ringmaster, and really enjoys putting on a grand show everynight to all the suckers who come

Quackerjack is a dissatisfied performer who wants to do really dangerous acts but none of the other clowns will work with him anymore. he tends to get pretty bad reactions from children and he does not get why.

Splatter Phoenix does portraits for patrons, sometimes she gets very frustrated with it and the result is strange abstract portraits that make customers angry

Tuskernini, the announcer for the dramatic shows

The human oddities section:

Bushroot, the amazing half man half plant! He hates being in the freak show, but he can’t really get employment anywhere else, despite his great love of learning and botany.

Cement Head, the world’s toughest, strongest man!

Stegmutt, a living relic

Isis, the Ice Queen

misc circus workers:

Megavolt, a mechanic working for the circus who keeps to himself. He’s obsessed with the tall statue that travels with the show, because it illuminates the night sky with a very large light source. He also thinks he can hear the rides and machinery talking to him. He’s got a secret!

Launchpad, another mechanic who ends up befriending Drake and Gosalyn during the case. His favorite attractions are all the flying rides and the burger stands! Very enthusiastic.
