S7 E3 might have been my least favourite episode of them all. Am I secretly unknowingly toxic, or was Dr. Wong just blatantly wrong??

What response?? Him ghosting an ex that broke his heart and dumped him with a note he couldn't even reply to? Rick doesn't have to answer Unity's messages if he doesn't want to. Never answering your ex could perfectly well be a healthily set boundary. And pushing the responsibility of Unity's actions onto Rick definitely doesn't seem right. No one is responsible for Unity's actions but Unity, even if Rick was massive asshole (which I don't think he was this ep).

The only thing that would save that interaction for me was if Dr. Wong actually lied like Rick suggested right before they met Unity because she judged the life of everyone on Earth worth lying for.

Meet Ivory! ☆

~" I get messages from the stars, you must be from another galaxy"//lyr~

Ivory was created from the power of an unknown gem cluster locked away in the cosmos. Sent from outerspace, Ivory traveled through many galaxies in his space pod, forced into hyperslumber. Eventually is crashlanded messily into westopolis, where he was found by gem, sound asleep. He remained like this for awhile before eventually awakening, dazed and confused. As of now he travels with gem, finding joy in exploring new lands. (Gem is @speedyeatsdirt 's sonic oc :3)

Ivory is a rather curious but cautious bat. ilwhile iviry dosnt know much of the simple thibgs that occur in daily life, example static electricity, water flow, wind, and shadows, he still talks in a more advanced sense grammatically. Some examples may be "do you require hydration currently?" "why are you showing signs of aggresion and annoyance in this situation?" "what is it that is making you so jovial??" "my physical form has a current hunger for sustenance".

Strengths: can litteraly take mulfiple gunshot eounds for some apparent reason, bearly even reacting to mist forms of pain. His teeth are very sharo and can basically rip through basic metals, being weak against certain kinds. Rather skilled when it comes to combat, finding it easy to just locokin, almost like an auto mode, not being affected by emotions in battle as he dosnt understand them most times, poker face.

Weaknesses: clueless alot of the time. if someone says they are innocent he dosnt argue, he just beleives them. His opinions and feelings on others are heavily influenced by people around him, mainly being gem since hes with gem almost always. Wings are his weak point, he will scream like a girl if you even do so much as touch them, they are very sensitive for whatever reason.

Boo-Kai Fright Night

After a hiatus we're proud to bring back our annual Halloween event involving out two favorite plucky characters and what better way than seven nights of horrors. Starting on October 24th ending on October 31st.

Themes:

Day 1: Fright Night || The name sake of the event, original or remake, give them a night based on this movie.

Day 2: Monsters Under The Bed || Every person's worst nightmare, literally. What creatures lie ahead? Whatever one's you want.

Day 3: Fear Street || Based on the Netflix trilogy, what past lives do these two have and will it ever end?

Day 4: Twilight Zone || Outerspace horror, what other worldly monsters will they encounter?

Day 5: Hocus Pocus || Based on everyone's favorite Halloween Disney movie, a night of campy horror is just what the doctor ordered.

Day 6: Resident Evil || Based on the video game series, a night of undead horrors created by corporate greed.

Day 7: Don't Drink The Kool-aid || It's definitely not a cult, everything they believe in is real, or is it?

Number of reasons why freefonix was pretty cool

Let's ignore the weird slang and could be better plot (tho the creator was told to avoid an overarching plot)

The music obviously- they literally mentioned there's over 100 songs made for this show and covered alot of genres w different artists; tho honestly idk who done all the singing as the cast list doesn't mention all the characters singing and searching said cast can you get you multiple ppl

I can't remember all of the songs but some of them just has a nice message behind it like do want you want and being yourself which ye typical but still nice

The characters designs I love so very much, from the clothes and general art style. (The episodes are better quality i swear lol)

Especially appreciate they didn't do those ugly black lip that some other cartoons do. Sugar Che is just so pretty and her afro is like those art where people's hair is like a plant or outerspace

Bonus her and Freezone (other black character) is voiced and sung by a black person

Also like expanded on black inspired/based (?) music as a kid who only would hear "those bad raps that kids shouldn't listen too" or that they're the jazz guy + occasional pop song that come on radio; i think I'm more appreciative oh hip hop/ rap partly cos of it

Totally anticonsumerism like prob add on the start of my anticapitilistic views lol

They literally fought with music like the instruments would literally shoot stuff in the sound clashes; also the instruments itself looks cool (the clip is from the first episode so miiight not be the best show of it but ya get what i mean)

The antagonist band Mantyz isn't bad cos they're a rock/metal band, but the fact they just do the same music to keep being rich/famous and don't really care abt staying original

They also used to be free wavers which freefonix is. Which really all abt making your own music (cos they love/really get music) that's against "prepsie" or better known as corporate/manufactured music

Oh ye the other villain Mya who done a contract Mantyz is literally just rich CEO and want to rule the world. Bonus is the accent w/o stereotyping accent and like nothing to do w becoming evil cos of a guy. Plus her suite is cool

I can't remember exactly but there's some interesting concepts around the show like vox, the bigger villain trapped by sugar che that if freed by the "13th note" could rule the world (i mean typical but he doesn't look typical) and destroy sugar che and freefonix

There's also some sci fi stuff idk like time affected by the music powers

General plot is people who are musically talented are one of the guardians of the 13th note which have alot of power

Okay so I just read 16 November 1581 and.......the potential. I mean it’s kind of a snapping point for Bruce. He never wants Tim to be hurt ever again.....obviously he can’t let him still be robin.

At first, it’s just because he’s ‘recovering’. He’s so much more affectionate than he was before, carrying Tim and kissing his face and playing with his hair, and Tim soaks it up like a thirsty plant.

And Bruce is just......enamored with his boy. He loves him so much it *hurts*. His rosy little cheeks, the way he giggles when he makes a bad pun, his wet lips when Bruce lifts a glsss of water to his lips....

He said he’d never let him be hurt again. And he wouldn’t, he thinks. He’d be so gentle, take it slow, hold his hand through it all. He needs to *worship* Tim, make him feel all the pleasure he gives Bruce. Tim wouldn’t need to be scared. Bruce would take care of it.

He could take care of everything.

bruce's trauma response being that he becomes insanely possessive over tim!!!! he's seen what happens to tim when he lets him remain in the care of others. if tim could be hurt by his own father and left to die, betrayed in a way that had him depressed for weeks afterward- then anyone could do it. bruce had run himself near crazy in those days looking for tim and when those words had left jack's mouth- bruce had felt his heart stop. he's heard it break along with something else inside him when he started violently attacking jack drake. no finesse, technique, just hot pure rage to pummel and make it hurt. bruce was half was certain that he'd ripped off a portion of jack's cheek, something meaty and wet had gone flying at one point, landing with a plop somewhere behind him.

the damage to jack had been extensive and there was no way for bruce to escape a charge even with his lawyers and all the connections he had to the judges he rubbed elbows with. community service, parole, and mandatory anger management classes. it was such a slap on the wrist it was almost insulting. bruce would've lost even more of his faith in the justice system if he hadn't had tim to go home to. tim who was still bed-bound and quiet. he'd gone mute aside from the few words he'd exchanged with bruce at the hospital. he got anxious when left alone, when bruce, alfred, or dick weren't there. bruce knew how he felt.

he was the same.

he'd completely moved into tim's bedroom with him. alfred had given up on trying to convince him to return to his room for the night and instead set up a little cot so bruce could be by tim's side always.

dick had been so furious, so devestated at the sight of tim in that hospital room. he'd recently returned from an outerspace mission. he'd missed the messages barbara had sent them, not seeing them until he was racing to the hospital in his car after seeing the news on tv the same night he came home.

'you can't do this shit to me again' he'd hissed to bruce after they'd settled tim back in the manor after some long-winded meeting with the hospital children's services officer and a local policeman.

bruce could understand dick's anger. him returning to earth, seeing the news of his little brother having gone missing and bruce's violent reaction to it. he'd been worried but he'd also been pissed that bruce had dropped the ball again.

'you can't not tell me this shit, you understand me? you can't not tell me that baby brother was gone, you can't-' dick's voice breaks and bruce can see he's holding back tears. tim was in pretty bad condition. he was alive that's true, but the emotional toll was enough to have him curled up in bed and refusing to eat.

something that devastated both dick and alfred. but for bruce...if bruce was the one holding the spoon, gentle asking him to take a bite, just a little one- he would.

tim was a good boy, always so good for bruce. he raises his arms without bruce asking when he needs to be stripped, he sits on the edge of the bed and obediently lets bruce wraps his leg cast with plastic before helping him to the shower.

tim is in such a fragile state. robin is no longer on the table. bruce can't imagine him going off again, him getting hurt again. not after what happened his heart couldn't take it.

tim will stay home. with bruce. because bruce is on house arrest pending the trial where he'll get a slap on the wrist which is fine with him because he has tim with him.

not that anyone knows that.

alfred, dick, and barbara had disagreed with bruce's decision to have tim check out as 'alvin draper'. as far as anyone is aware jack drake murdered his child and dumped in a park like was garbage.

tim turning out to be alive would shine a media spotlight on him, on them. given bruce's trial they may not be willing to grant him emergency custody and bruce didn't even want to think about tim going into a foster home with all his injuries.

they keep the windows shut and they keep tim inside lest one of the media's cameras catch a picture of tim drake alive and in wayne manor.

bruce knows the justice system. he knows it well. he knows jack will get more time is they charge him with murder and not body than if they charge him with attempted murder because tim is alive. because tim isn't. tim drake wasn't rescued by an ambulance that day, alvin draper was.

tim gets better. slowly. with bruce at his side keeping him fed, keeping him warm, keeping him safe. he breezes through patrol to return to tim's side. eager to see him before he drifts to sleep.

tim is clingier now. he holds onto bruce tightly, he buries his face into bruce's chest. he never did that before.

tim was a sweet kid that was true, he joked with bruce and smiled at him. but he didn't try to squirm into his side like he was now. he didn't nuzzle bruce wrap around him to keep in bed when bruce came to see him nod off.

tim is so small so...soft. bruce catches himself stroking the exposed nape of tim's neck and tugging on strands of curled hair. bruce likes the feel of tim's small body pressed to him, like his weight on his chest as tim falls asleep on him again.

likes how vulnerable tim is now, how loving he is.

bruce had tried to hard to keep his distance for him, out of respect. but that respect no longer applied and bruce, when tim reached for him, reached back.

something shifted in bruce that night. that horrible night when he thought he lost tim. something ugly and violent had seeped out of him and stained his hands red. even clean, bruce can still smell the iron tang of blood of his nose, can see that shadow of red stains on his palms as he strokes tim's plush cheek and trails a finger tracing his nose, lashes, and sweet pink lips.

something has shifted in bruce. something that was still there, weighing heavy in his bones and trying to wrap their tentacles into tim's delicate little form.

bruce feels something for tim. a devotion. an adoration. a desire.

he tries to suppress it but it always bubbles back up again, simmering to the surface and emerging.

tim was terrorized by the fear he felt that day. there are nights he gasps awake crying and and heaving for breath. and bruce is there to comfort him each time.

and he stares at the stystal tears streaming down his face, bruce only has one thought.

he'll never let tim feel like that again.

instead of fear, bruce will pump him full of euphoria. it will take time, tim will need to be eased into it before he can accept bruce. before bruce can lay him down on his back, wrap tim's hands around his neck and settle between his legs. he'll let tim feel the protective weight of him and listen to his little sounds and hitches, attentive and caring as he gently fills him with pleasure and bliss to fill the empty cavity in him now is.

it will take time to get to that point. but bruce is prepared to wait as long as it takes.

now that tim is back, he has all the time in the world.

whereas on my point of view, I agree to disagree on Nerdwriter's disagreement. It is indeed incidental, the effects of the program.. up to now. Sometimes a lot of people isn't even conscious that it's affecting them. On the past studies that I have recieved in the past, growing up. It's just a pure curiousity of those inventors to make something that is convenient, which is the Television. Philo Taylor Fansworth, base on our Mr. google, he was the inventor of it since 1972, he lived in a place where there is no electricity, and he was 14 yrs old when he thought of that. Which gave him a spark of idea to create images that are moving using radio waves. He depended on his imaginative ideas by that time, just imagine experiencing what he'd gone through. It was hard for those people who lived in a wealthy life. He did not think about the negative aspects he focused on what could he do to make something possible. He did not expected that the medium would affect that highly to the people. In Philo's perspective he wanted something that would entertain and help him in the midst of his environment. And basically the effects of the medium was imagined after the television (medium) was created. The medium's message was realized later on, when the technology itself have advanced. I agree more on what Marshall McLuhan said, than to Nerdwriter1. But I am not intending to invalidate Nerdwriter's point of view, because I also understand his stand. So the question is : (2) How does the nature of a medium affect our behavior, both individually and as a community? The nature of the medium affected us massively in our day to day activities. As it is said, the medium is the message, the informations we are getting to the new media platforms is either something we enjoy about and entertains us or something we don't know about yet, which makes us intrigued.

Whereas as an individual and as a community, it unconsciously drives us to becoming lazy and unproductive that we forget what we should really be doing. It also affects in our health physically and mentally. Like wearing glasses, not sleeping very much and spending a lot of our time in the new medias. For example is the animated film Wall-E. They became obesse, lazy, hypnotized by vr, from the things that they are watching and not even walking around which is not healthy, because they also have their own seats that have been autopiloted. It caused them to not being able to walk properly. So what I am saying is, the nature of the medium's effects have limited us in many aspects both individually and as a community.

somehow the topic of fandoms came up today at school (professor wasn't there, we were supposed to work but we just played cards, drank coffee, and talked)

one of the guys said something like "yeah fandoms are a weird kind of awesome. like i heard there was a fandom that like...hacked an airport? i think?"

so i went "yeah, that was us. we also figured out their blood types, a bunch of clues they left. i mean, they've been kn hiatus for 5 years and we can STILL break the internet."

he was looking at me like an alien and asked me if i had contacts in the fbi/cia/nsa/interpol/outerspace?

that mostly just got me thinking abt how many people decided to join the fbi or something cause they had fun playing ispy with rbb and sbb

LOL! I mean, some of the shit fans did was really not cool (and closer to stalking than anything else). But Harry and Louis do know how to leave a trail of breadcrumbs for us because they know we're going to solve even the most cryptic clues. We were raised on RBB and SBB, you can't put one over on us.
