Oh man, thank you! This was really hard but also fun.

👀 Tell me about an up and coming wip please!

So many!

Currently writing about a character coming up against Dragon Age demons for the first time, greatly enjoying that.

A character study about Michael the Distortion and also Helen.

Oh, and I am also writing about two characters discussing asexuality and relationships.

🛒 What are some common things you incorporate in your fics? Themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc.

Trauma, grief and mentall illness is a cornerstone in anything I write. There are so many things to consider with it, and what it means for your life. Like was it always with you, or did you develop it? Was it a violation and what does it mean now going forward?

Furthermore I get a kick out of really obscure refrences in my work. Like I have referenced Koschei the Deathless, The Killers lyrics, Karen Sundt, Laika, Ivo Caprino jokes… it’s fun not only for me but to see the rare case where people make the connection. I get the enjoyment either way.

😅 What’s a story or scene you’ve created that you’re a smidge embarrassed exists?

Redbark No-Chief.

Let me explain. In the Kahvi comics, which are not considered mostly non-canon anyway, we saw a minor character be pronounced chief of Two-Spears splintergroup of Wolfriders. Redbark, said character, looked to be same age as Kahvi, and his design was similar to Graywolf, who had recognized Willowgreen II. So naturally I concluded that he was their child.

In the comic we had a big Flash forward, and was told that Willowgreen had cleaned out their wolfblood, and that every chief after Two-Spear’s descion had been left wanting.

I was very intruged and was trying to write about Redbark holding the legacy of his mother’s crime… but turns out it was incorrect. It was just a coincidence that he looked like the same age and design. Redbark was no one. Which I discovered bust as I was going to publish the third chapter.

It completely took the wind out of my sails. To loose that familiar connection between them made my story fall apart to the point where it never recovered.

So yeah. You live and learn.

📚 Would you ever want to turn writing into a career?

Writing books has always been my dream, but honestly, the last few years I have heard stories about how publishing really works and. It is really discouraging and confusing? It is putting me off writing proffesionally for the first time since I was six =/

🎨 How do you feel about fan art of your stories?

Love it.

🎢 Which of your fics would you call your wildest ride?

Oh, hmm. I am actually uncertain of how to judge this one. Maybe Shade of Smiles? It is a fanfic that explores a happening that is treated as small in canon but is really anything but just that.

🏆 What’s your most popular fic?

In all honesty it’s a Harry Potter crack fic. 🙃

😈 Has there been a point in a story where you did something just to be playfully mean to your readers?

I used to always end with cliffhangers, but that was mostly because I needed that to propel me forward. I had to finish a new chapter to find out what happened next than being cruel =P

Adventures in Solitude: I have a vague suspicion that you were already thinking a bit of him when you sent this to me. :3 I do definitely have to put forward Mani for this, probably a little time after Deadfire after he burnt out at least a litle bit of his rage.

Stockton Gala Days: This was tickeling my brain so much but I couldn't for the life of me tell who I was thinking of until I noticed it's because she doesn't have a name yet. It's excellent vibes for my as of yet nameless sorcerer girl waiting on my next WotR playthrough who will romance Aruschalae. Gonna be the sweetest dragon girl love around.😌

Say the Word: I spent so much time thinking until my brain just went ah yes of course how easy. It's Aelfi. It's Aelfi having spent a bunch of time with certain boys getting the sort of attention and understandng she never really had or wanted and finding herself more and more drawn there without knowing what Wael thinks about that.

Waterlily: Another one bamboozled me until I went ah yes of course. Yeah Emblyn's not having a good time but I sure am always with your music choices.😌 This does really tingle me tbh, absolute vibe as always I am lost in the sauce.

Okay first of all, have we established the fact that you are an amazing writer? Cause if not, then I'll just put it out there. You're an amazing writer.

I'll try to focus on a few things from the chapter otherwise this will take forever. First of all, did we just get Mr. Petty Hwang in this chapter? Cause I loved it! it gives me the feeling that yes, he may be interested in yn, but he's not quite head over heels yet. He's probably as clueless about where his feelings are headed as yn is at the moment.

He's definitely attracted to her physically (refrence the dozen plus bowling alley moments) and the more time he spends with her, the more interested he becomes with her as a person. We see that especially in this chapter when he gets really surprised that she hasn't googled him and continues to ask him questions, wanting to get the answers from him personally. I think as an idol it's refreshing for him for someone to want to get to know him from him, and he really values that. As they talk and get to know each other more, I'm sure hyunjin will come to realize that yn is really the person he truly wants to be with.

Obviously, with that attraction, he also feels the need to hold back and I think he does that for a few reasons. First of all, Hana. For obvious reasons. The other reason is because of yn and her confusing (to him) signals and attitude. I'm pretty sure he thinks she doesn't like him, possibly even hates him. And finally, Felix. I think this is important because I'm pretty sure he's heard about Felix and how close they are from those around him (Hana and seungmin) and when he saw her with Felix that just made it even more solid for him. The way he hesitated, when she asked him to join her and Felix and then refused after seeing Felix looking at them. This also makes me believe that Felix has feelings for yn even more. It's almost like how a guy knows when another guy likes a girl type of thing. Assuming that's the case, naturally hyunjin would feel threatened by Felix and wouldn’t want to approach yn (especially with Felix there) even if he's not entirely sure about his feelings for yn yet.

It's either that, or hyunjin saw Felix, fell in love at first sight, got flustered, and ran away. And the petty act he let out is because yn is closer to Felix than he is. (let me stop 🥲)

Aside from being flabbergasted at Hana's (can I say shallow?) actions and attitude, I found the chapter to be chill and not very angsty. I genuinely feel like Hana is simply starstruck by hyunjin and that's as far as her feelings for him go. The fact that she just came out of a serious relationship not that long ago and is still heartbroken by it could be the reason why she's acting the way she is. She's just desperate to move on and be normal again. To a certain extent, I don't blame her cause it's a really shitty place to be in, and I'm sure she doesn't even realize she's acting the way she is.

I'm also super excited for the next chapter because of the potential development between yn and hyunjin. I feel like the next chapter will be less intense and more chill because we are slowly getting to see their friendship blooming. I'm really curious as to how you will maneuver the story to bring them together romantically without burning some bridges, and I know you'll never disappoint so I'll patiently wait.

(Sonic Movie 2 Trailer Spoilers)

GOD SO FAR THIS MOVIE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT ASDDAD!!

I know this is a bit late but I still wanted to make amother one of these posts cause AAAAAAAA-

I like to think that this is a refrence to Ice Cap Zone, specifically the part where Sonic enters in on a board

okay something really notable is said here by Knuckles. He says "it is my destiny to destroy you". The reason this has significance is that this implies that Sonic's history is somehow intertwined with Knuckles. We can assume that the Echidna's have something against Sonic as in the first movie they're hunting him as a child. Or it could be a misreading of prophecies, like how in S3&K there is a mural of Super Sonic and Eggman fighting, which could easily be misinterpreted as Eggman fending an antagonistic Sonic off. Who knows, but I'm super excited to see where this interpretation of the lore goes!!
