three ducks landed in my mom’s pool with a thunk that lasted ten minutes. One was trying to fuck a smaller girl-duck, or they both were, but the other male duck was absolutely dog walking the one trying to fuck by his ponytail. There were feathers everywhere. the female duck kept getting her head dunked under the water as she was kind of pushed around the water like an errant floatie and I yelled at her through the window, I said “FIGHT BACK!” because they were just bonking her on the back of the head and holding her down and then getting distracted by each other. Like I’d be pissed if I died in the middle of all that for no reason and didn’t even get to find out what that crock screw do. Eventually one of the male ducks succeeded in getting the other one on the ropes and away from the girl duck. He made a sound I’ve never heard a duck make, like “heheheh!” but like a low wheeze and also in such a way that I really wished he had permission to say fuck. He seemed a little unsure with it tho like he was trying to hype himself up. He got real big and flapped his wings like he won something. his lats went crazy and he was just quacking his head off, when the other duck charged at him and the girl and the winner duck flew off. So I’m left looking at the pool duck like “you won the pool but lost he girl, is this a win for ducks?”

a real downgrade this year from the pool duck who had two wives who double-team bossed him around when he got uppity and talked back in extremely spicy tones to my late great pitbull.
