Transphobes talk about how minors shouldn’t be ‘exposed’ to trans people but then scream slurs at kids they assume are trans

#like if they didn’t know trans people existed before #they do now #and I bet they’ll side with the pro-trans people who didnt harrass them #this was brought on cause I was thinking about when I was called the t-slur by some random people when I was like 11-12 #and then I was thinking about it more and remembered that I actually didn’t know what trans people were at that point #but immediately went home and googled what they called me #transphobes #transgender

I have not been this physically inactive since I was 2

My diet has literally never been worse

I am somehow the lightest I have been since 7th grade

Yet I am physically bigger than I ever have been in my whole life

Once his housemates find out about Jean’s broken magnets they try their hardest to find the closest matches available to buy, they take pottery classes to try and remake any missing chunks, whenever they pass a tacky gift-shop (especially when traveling for games) they drag Jean over to the magnets to pick one out, and of course their fridge ends up absolutely filled with all of them

When Jean officially addresses some of the rumors about him, whether to the public or just the trojans, I genuinely think he should just remind people that he was just a kid.

“How old am I,” he asks the people watching.

Everyone is silent, not a single response is heard. Not even a whispered guess.

“I am” a pause or a breath, no one can be sure, “I am 19 years old.”

A mummer is heard as the crowd tries to do the math in their heads but it’s immediately silenced when Jean starts speaking again.

“My freshman year, I was 16. 14 when I moved into the nest with the other athletes.”

Yet another small break. Jean is looking at the floor, unable to see all the people watching.

He looks back up “knowing that. Knowing those numbers, I want you to ask yourselves if the rumors are true.”

I just... he had a little sister that he loved more than anything. he followed thea around like a lost little duckling. he was in love with his best friend and it almost destroyed him. he uses pain to both punish himself and stave off panic attacks. he survived five years of brutal torture and abuse by the skin of his teeth. his parents sold him. his little sister is dead. he wants to burn the house down. he cannot cook or shop for himself. he hates his old teammates. he loves his old teammates. he quite possibly loves his new teammates even more. he frets for the safety of people he barely knows. he's terrified of water, of being bitten, of being hurt again. he laughed when his worst abuser was dethroned and beaten and then tried to kill himself in solidarity.

he's finding reasons to live, day by day, one step at a time. a cool evening breeze, rainbows, open roads, friends.

he is jean moreau. he knows his place. he will endure.

Seeing neil from an outside pov actually 100% makes it clear why andrew was as intrigued as he was. Because we as readers could see how stressed neil was 24/7 but seeing him from jean’s perspective really helps to see how absolutely off the rails he seems if you don’t have the insider understanding of his character

So during For Her which is sung by Gatsby the first time he meets Nick right as he is asking Nick to stage a meeting with Daisy, Nick is supposed to hand something over to Gatsby towards the end of the song after he tells Gatsby that Daisy is now married and he won’t involve himself and Jeremy Jordan dropped the prop when he went to set it on the desk (I think it was a set of keys or something similar cause it was a loud noise) and in reaction he muttered ‘whoops’

I linked the song but if you don’t want to listen to it for some reason, during this part of the song it is belt after belt so just a high pitched ‘whoops’ right in the middle was very noticeable but hilarious cause he still didn’t miss a single note

I don’t know what theater kid needs to hear it, but making a mistake (or multiple) on stage is not the end of the world and you don’t suck for it

As I was starting episode 5 of X-Men 97, at the same time I also started making a meme on my feelings about a character I loved

Do you know how fucking tempted I am to join a fucking pyramid scheme just so I can take a fucking break

How tempted I am to get a job as those annoying ass people who just walk door-to-door offering consultations and trying to trick people into getting home renovations they don’t need

Cause those jobs apparently pay really fucking well AND I don’t need to go into a lifetime of debt to get the job

Like even at the lowest salary of the range posted on the job listing is a good fucking salary for the area and for what I need

2 weeks ago there were 7 dogs in my family

There are now 5 and the 2 that are gone were the healthiest of all of them and I am genuinely scared at this point because I don’t think I can take anymore

#the one was taken in about a week ago and we were told he wouldn’t survive past the year #so like a dumbass I assumed I’d go up and see him when we were all off on Monday #and now I cant and I’m so mad at myself that I didnt go down to visit #cause excluding my personal dog he was literally my favorite of them all and of any dog my family has owned in my 20 years of life
