"I had all the characteristics of a human being—flesh, blood, skin, hair—but my depersonalization was so intense, had gone so deep, that my normal ability to feel compassion had been eradicated, the victim of a slow, purposeful erasure. I was simply imitating reality, a rough resemblance of a human being, with only a dim corner of my mind functioning."
- Bret Easton Ellis (American Psycho)

“The sun himself is weak when he first rises; and gathers strength and courage as the day gets on.” - Charles Dickens

It's a new day

My body, my rules and more when it's not about public health like infections, my transition doesn't affect anything in your life, it's not f***ng contagious.
Lately, I've been reading news about what is happening in Idaho (Soon, seems like the new Gilead) and other places too. And it's depressing.
I transitioned in my late 20s due to great lack of proper information and fear, while It's something I knew since I was a kid. Since I transitioned my life has improved in many ways, including my physical health.
Now that there is finally more accessible information and doctors prepared for this, they want to remove both culture and healthcare for #LGBTQI+ people, targeting especially trans kid, and even penalize with jail those who help.
They call our surgeries "mutilations" but they have no shame to do surgeries in intersex babies (yes, intersex people are real too) only with the consent of the parents, and that baby will grow up and may not go according to the gender THEY CHOSE the day of tomorrow and become #transgender too.
Many small advances have been made these last years, so now, we take steps back again in first world countries, instead of looking for a brighter future with less hate, fear and discrimination.
Not forgetting the anti-gay concentration camps in Chechnya that still exist. Like the death penalty in some countries for being gay, lesbian, trans etc...
Accurate and accessible information is power and an important for advancement. The fight never ends.

Because visibility matters, representation matters, some paths are too long and hard to stay in the shadow. From infinity and beyond, keep holding on!

When it's cold in this wild, wild world
Everyone's trying to dig your grave
I carry on
When you're told you don't the fit the mold
Now everybody's got a say
I carry on
When the madness all around us starts to take it's toll
I carry on
It's a long, dark, winding road we're on
Oh, I carry on...

The Cell (2000) dir. by Tarsem Singh
Do you believe there is a part of yourself, deep inside in your mind, with things you don’t want other people to see? When I’m inside, I get to see those things.

I don't know if I'm about to hang out playing little ballads or break into the capitol...
Either way, here some midnight tunes and heavy thoughts.
This life is about trying.
Goodnight, moon.

"They worshipped, so they said, the Great Old Ones who lived ages before there were any men, and who came to the young world out of the sky. Those Old Ones were gone now, inside the earth and under the sea; but their dead bodies had told their secrets in dreams to the first men, who formed a cult which had never died. This was that cult, and the prisoners said it had always existed and always would exist, hidden in distant wastes and dark places all over the world until the time when the great priest Cthulhu, from his dark house in the mighty city of R'lyeh under the waters, should rise and bring the earth again beneath his sway."
Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn.
