Hi, everyone. It's been busy recently but spring is here. I love all the different spring blossoms I see around town. Do you have a favorite spring flower? I really like the blooming magnolia trees. They are so pretty with the big blossoms.

there's no greater betrayal than finally starting to read a book you've had sitting for months on your shelf or your desk or your nightstand and then finding out it's bad. like. i gave you a fucking home.

tragedy enjoyers are like if i'm not having the worst time of my life and leaving this story with something stuck deep inside me where it eats me alive from the inside out then that's just not good enough. i need to consume media that consumes me in return like how the ouroboros eats its own tail out to satisfy its hunger or the animal in a trap gnaws off its own leg to escape. or maybe that's just me.

something about foreshadowing being more prominent the second time around reading a story but in a way that the meaning is changed forever and you can never view a story the same as you once did before. do you know what i mean.

28.04.2023 - I had a random day of freedom thanks to a timetabling mishap. So, naturally, I've been out with my undergrad friends for coffee and book shopping! I may need to pick up the reading pace with how many books I've acquired this month...but I have been good and only bought secondhand!
