on the topic of musical opinions. yes people can like what they like but sometimes i feel like ppl are so mean about certain bands or artists based on just one snapshot of their entire career…. listen the first two imagine dragons albums are good. they’re good. i know they make jeep commercial music now but they didn’t ALWAYS. and i know you all hate ho hey by the lumineers but they have other songs and they have a whole concept album about a dysfunctional family with music videos for each song that connect to tell the full narrative spanning generations throughout the family. forget any other bands this post is about the lumineers now i don’t understand the vitriol towards them and why people imply that their music is too Basic or Thoughtless when they clearly have only listened to like. ho hey and ophelia. you guys know there are whole albums of other songs right. you don’t have to listen to them but why did you just Decide that the artists behind them have no inner thoughts. fuck you
