every Killers song sounds like the ramblings of that one incoherently drunk girl in the bathroom and i think that’s incredible sexy of them

I love how all of the Batman villains are like “ah he’s not at the manor, it’s defenseless! and then alfred just racks an AK-47 and is like pull up bitch

question 2 my followers: what’s the most obscure piece of media you’ve ever developed a fixation with? not obscure as in “at one point had a reasonably thriving fandom that eventually faded” but something you feel you were almost entirely alone in your appreciation for

I like those Pokemon variants crossed with other Pokemon as much as the next person but have you considered: Bulbasaur cultivars.
You, too, should learn about the history of selective breeding in the wild mustard plant!

nothing will remind you that eating is good and okay like fantasy books will. “and that night in the valley they brought out the best plum cake and sweet cream, trout and turnips roasted over the fire, mead and goatsmilk and fresh cold water from the spring-“ and it’s like yeah dude you’re absolutely right. then sometimes it’s like “as he slept that night in the woods, he sorely missed the valley, where they brought out the best plum cake-“ and it’s like man that sucks i’ll have some seconds in his honor

as a matter of fact i do think that eddie’s decision to tell buck about being chris’s legal guardian if he dies is part of season 4’s big picture explanation of why buck is reckless/has a hero complex. now that buck knows, that instinct to disregard his life will be curbed. it’s the writers’ way of tying up that part of his story to reach this new chapter where he does see that he belongs somewhere and if his luck runs out at the wrong time, he risks hurting people he’s already shown he can’t live without.
this is probably why the episode had almost all the characters (except for eddie) bring up his behavior—however, they characterized it as thoughtlessness rather than what it really is (extremely poor self worth). more so, this is probably why eddie’s “because, evan” felt like such a shock to hear. it broke the pattern we saw throughout the episode of equating buck’s name with that recklessness we now know comes from buck believing that’s the only way he’ll be seen.
it probably goes without saying, but i’m still not happy they used eddie’s shooting for anything other than the development of his character. however, I do see how it wraps up buck’s s4 storyline as he’s progressed from someone who thought he had no one to someone who is finally seeing that they have a niche in the diaz home that can’t be taken away from him (and that kind of certainty and trust and loyalty is what buck has been searching for).
and now for my fellow eddie fans: possibly s5 will highlight eddie more now that we’ve been in buck’s pov for s4? (this is just me being optimistic bc i need to see it)

literally cannot even begin to fathom why star wars, one of the largest media franchises in the fucking world, didnt feel the need to script out 3 of their movies before announcing and starting them. what the fuck.
