I'm officially graduating next week!!!! I'm kinda nervous, but from then on I can focus on doing what I love doing best = tufting!!! (but also looking for a job bc economic stability).

I talked about opening my shop this month but unfortunately I had so much going on that I wasn't able to give it my full focus. I managed to make some new pieces for the various markets I attended, but now most of these works are in a small concept store in Belgrade!

Anyway, I will be opening commission slots in May for international orders, so if anyone is interested, my inbox is open!! I will be posting more info and making an official post later this week 🌷

Can you believe I actually got some assignment work done in England? A delicious scone and pretty flowers were exactly what I needed to get started with my statistics work. I can’t believe I’m almost done now 🌷

Interrupting my hiatus to say I am alive and well! Currently working on my last statistics assignment and an essay on Le Spleen de Paris. I can’t wait to finish all my uni bits so that I could peacefully fly off to Florence for a few weeks to do my painting with ancient techniques course 🎨🌷

-> bought a b-day gift for a friend (also bought some books!! i have talked about some i think, but To Paradise, The Possessed and The War of the Worlds are new new)

-> speaking of books, my Danish book (edit: Complete Danish, by Bente Elsworth) has arrived!! i wasn't aware there was another one i could get for starters so i got the 2nd one 🫠 it'll be fine right? duoling can teach me enough right?

-> went to said friend's birthday party and had a lot of fun (won the uno no mercy game 💪 but lost cards against humanity miserably 😹)

I hate revising/revisiting a topic. I don't know about anyone else, but I constantly want to be learning something new. Going back to a topic feels so tedious. I'll try to get better at this skill.

i cannot emphasise enough how much you need to create something. anything. it doesn't matter if you suck. you don't need to monetise it, or make it your career. you can restart an old hobby; you can start from scratch. it doesn't matter. you just need to hold something and be able to say "i did that". baking, drawing, painting, writing, coding, crafts, whatever. make something ! you cannot have all your hobbies be a form of consumption. it's fun, it's great in its own right. but the single best action to make yourself feel better, to calm your mind, to gain self esteem, is to Create

April 14th, 2024

I took my psychology and pedagogy exam on Thursday. I couldn't be happier that it's finally over and I even got the best possible grade! I'm so relieved but now the stress is still wearing off and I'm feeling really exhausted. Still, next exam is right ahead.
