3.  Grumpy/Sunshine dynamic, grump being soft for sunshine, sunshine cheering grump up 

4. Accidental child acquisition and no idea what to do with the little gremlins and now they have to figure out how to Adult

5. Flawed parents/guardians/caretakers and how conflict between the adult and child doesn’t always have a right answer 

6. Tragic backstories. I am a sucker for tragic backstories.
