hi no one probably cares but my interpretation of your lips and me is that marvin is supposed to be trina’s older son and jason is the younger one. ik that the song isn’t canon and it was taken out of the musical and my interpretation doesn’t really make that much sense and they were originally just supposed to have two kids but i think its kinda fun to think about bc in the musical marvin is going back and forth between his childhood and his adulthood. i rlly dont know how much sense this makes it’s midnight and i dont feel like rereading this
