AA headcannon pt. 18: Klapollo 2/2
• They communicate surprisingly well now, neither can forget the awkward fumbling of feelings at the beginning of their relationship and now they just say whatever it is they need to say, even if it is ridiculous.
• Apollo is soft. Like, in every way you can think of soft. He treads lightly around serious subjects and handles them as quickly and smoothly as he can, always careful around old wounds and sore subjects. He's pretty good with comfort, too, if it's got to do with hurt feelings.
• Klavier isn't used to showing weakness. His brother drilled it into his head that his guard should never drop, not even when he's alone. It's hard for him to un-learn that, but the little praises and kind words when he is able to be honest definitely helps him not dread it when he's talking to Apollo.
• And Apollo is SO willing to help him if he needs to talk to someone else, too, he's as supportive as he can possibly be.
• Klavier tends to be a but smothering. Apollo won't allow PDA, they still banter like they used to (all in good fun, nothing malicious), but the second they're alone the prosecutor is holding his hand or leaning in to sing some cheesy love song under his breath or have an arm around him.
• Apollo might not be able to admit out loud without getting too flustered to speak, but he likes the attention a lot more than he let's on. It makes him feel loved and secure.
• Apollo gets a little scared when people flirt with Klavier, he gets self conscious and fears Klavier's going to leave like everyone else seems to do. The second Athena picks up on it, she tells Klavier and Apollo gets even more smothering than usual and a lot of reassurance that hes not going anywhere
• If they're having a real problem that the other can't properly help fix, it's over Kristoph. Every time. They both still care about and respect him, but he's also done a lot of damage to the both of them. They're stuck in the same spot, handling the subject of the older Gavin is like handling a venomous snake. You have no idea if it will bite you and no idea how much venom it's going to use when it does. It's something they both struggle to cope with.
• But they are coping together, so they've at least got that going for them. It doesn't feel like they're alone with someone who understands it all too well to talk to.
• Apollo absolutely cooks when he can. Dhurke was only good at a few different foods and Nahyuta never got the hang of it so he kind of picked it up to fill the gap as a kid. He's surprisingly good at it, too.
• Naturally, he packs Klavier lunches, and Klavier loves to help him out when he can. It feels very domestic.
• Klavier doesn't like Apollo's apartment. It's not in a great place, it's not very nice, its small, and Apollo is paying too much for it.
• The second he convinces Apollo to move in with him (it takes a while, but he's determined it, so hes not letting up) he has Apollo moved the next day.
• The smothering gets worse, but there is no complaints from either of them.
• They just love each other so much, and the time they spend together is the most wholesome part of their day.

AA headcannon pt 17: I'm dividing this one into two parts, so this is the first part- Klapollo early relationship headcannon
• Before they're together, Klavier's attempts to flirt with Apollo go right over his head. It's crazy how much suggestive commrntary and pick up lines and Klavier can get away with in the first stage of this.
• Though funny, it's tiring. Gets to the point where he directly asks for a date and Apollo looks him dead in the eyes and says "That one wasn't even funny, cut it out."
• Not funny? Has Apollo thought he was joking this entire time??
• Blunt heart-to-heart is the only way to get anything across to Apollo socially, especially with Klavier. He's great with cues about someone's state of mind and mildly empathetic to boot, but whether or not it's Klavier's public persona talking or him has always been a wild card.
• Hearing Klavier grapple with what exactly he wants to say, his face totally pink with embarrassment that he had to say it so directly. He's not exactly used to verbally expressing how he feels, he's used to kind of sweeping serious things under the rug and trying to have a good time.
• 100% Apollo is on board, yes he would absolutely love a date, you'll never guess how long he's had this stupid crush. Apollo's been trying to ignore it because he's always assumed Klavier was out of his league... Now that he's saying out loud its stupid.
• On the first date, Klav insists on taking up a whole day. They go out to lunch somewhere classy, spend some time at the park, go shopping, go to dinner, and then go to a movie before he deems the date over.
• Now, when he asked for a kiss and pointed to his cheek to tease, that was a joke.
• Apollo, in assuming his lesson about Klavier's joking, assumes he's serious this time and gives him one.
• Klavier.exe has stopped working
• The rockstar prosecutor is grinning and feeling like a giddy teenager for the next few hours before falling asleep. Apollo is too good sometimes and Klavier could die, he's not gonna mess this one up.
• Klavier swears he's not gonna mess this relationship up like he's done before.
• Apollo is getting ahead of himself, hugging his body pillow, trying to figure out where this all is going. Is this for fun? Is this just to see if Klavier wants him? What if this is some kind of test-run and he has to prove he's good enough for Klavier?
• What's he willing to do to prove that?

AA headcannons pt 16:
If someone can convince this man 'What's crack a lackin homies' is an appropriate greeting, I'm 100% sure that he's been told various curse words mean something else as well. This being said, he might drop a curse word into a sentence (where it makes sense, but he doesn't know its wrong) but with the most serious, well mannered expression. The person he's talking to will just be in stunned silence that a renowned prosecutor just used the word 'shitty' to describe the defendant's vehicle.

AA headcannon pt 15: Apollo's childhood
• Strangely enough, the only things he remembers of his actual parents are the smell of his dad's hair-gel because he got into it a few times and his mom's singing voice because she was always humming. These memories become fuzzy and distant, but it's why Lamiroir's voice had been so strangely soothing and why he feels the need to put extra hair gel on even though he could accomplish his style with less
• Not that he knows this is why, if you ask him, he'll probably say 'Her voice is familiar, but I can't place it' or for the other, 'it just feels like the right amount'
• Our boy was so slow to develop in the time he was going from foster-home to foster-home that the people that took care of him were legitimately concerned he had other problems going on, so he got taken to the doctor a lot
• When he took his first steps, no one was really there to hold his hands and lead him along so he fell over twice crossing the room to get a toy, but he was determined
• When an older kid tried to take his bracelet from him to tease him, they both quickly discovered that if Apollo was not intending to part with it it would refuse to come off. This thing has a death-grip on little Apollo's wrist and he's just "It comes off when I take it off so it must not like you." >:/
• Believed for a long time that his bracelet liked and didn't like certain people, all based on his own opinions of course because it's his best friend and always has been.
• The main reason Dhurke wanted to adopt is because he ends up not having enough time to play with Nahyuta and is worried his son's going to have social issues later. Plus, he can afford to have another kid, no problem. It might even be fun :)
• When Apollo gets told by Dhurke he's going to be adopting him, he is all starry-eyed and beaming
• It's his turn to go home with someone, and he is sure it's gonna be the best thing ever. Dhurke can only look at him like 'I was here because I needed company for Nahyuta when I go away, and now I'm looking at the most adorable child I've ever seen in my life besides mine, who left this boy??'
• Him and Nahyuta hit it off surprisingly well, but in weird ways. Apollo will see him meditating instead of playing and walk over to sit a little ways away, trying to mimic him and figure out why this is fun instead of immediately judging him like other kids. Nahyuta curiously asks about the bracelet Apollo always wears and respectfully doesn't touch it until he's been given permission to. They're both really careful with each other and it's appreciated
• When Dhurke has to take them to live in the woods, he's very glad he got Apollo. He'd be worried they would get lonely if they didn't get along so well
• It was a whirlwind of confusing feelings getting sent back to America, and it left a bitter hole in Apollo's heart. He didn't understand why his dad just gave him to a foster home across the sea with hardly any warning. It was just him and his wrist-band again, lost and alone. He felt more alone then than he ever did in that new house full of kids than in the woods with just Yuty.
• He was promised Dhurke would come back, but the words were hollow, and he knew it. He turned away any chance at getting adopted by other parents because he couldn't deal with this if it ever happened again, he was okay to just be him
• When he meets Clay and cheers him up, he's a little unsure what to do when the boy keeps pulling him along to go play. Clay seems to really like having him around and who is he to turn down a chance at having a friend, at least?
• Their teachers are always taken aback seeing them play because in class they're so respectful and focused and at recess they are fighting with sticks and screaming
• One wants to go to space and one wants to be an attorney, they're definitely an odd pair, there was no getting around it
• Phoenix Write's name starts appearing in newspapers and Apollo starts reading them. This is the coolest attorney in the world, he hopes he can be half as cool as Wright.
• High school was the last stretch of time before childhood was over and he could go be an adult
• He is so ready for it to end, he sees adulthood as a sense of control he's never had and he desperately want it, he's tired of being swept along by tragedy and loneliness
• Clay's still gonna have his back, though, so he's got that going for him
• His grades are great, he's making all A's, even if he has to study hard in all his free time and do all the extra credit his teachers are willing to give him, his average scores are over 100% and his report cards always say something about 'excellent work ethic'
• Kristoph Gavin, who scouts for new attorneys to mentor, has never visited his school in previous years, but keeps walking in and addressing Apollo directly so he's confused but happy about that. That's a good sign, right?
• Kristoph is, at first, dissapointed his scores are from extra credit and not that he's some kind of genius, but he's testing him anyway just to see if he's got the guts to go with his more than perfect scores
• He passes, much to Kristoph's satisfaction, he does very well and has all the skills he'll need to be useful. Kristoph pays for his college and picks all his classes with the faith the boy will manage.
• "You gotta pick a protege young so you can have that level of control over their career." -Kristoph 'perfectionist' Gavin
• Around that same time Clay is accepted into a college, as well
• So this is goodbye...
• They're both sobbing, they've both lost people before and it feels like this is the last time they'll ever see each other
• They promise to write and call, and go their separate ways. They really should have expected it, I mean one wants to go to SPACE, but it's all tears and sniffles and promises to stay in touch
• When he looks back on it, Apollo's childhood is a jarring mess of feeling tossed around by the whims of fate and losing things that are important to him, but if there's anything he's thankful for, it's that he's getting a chance to tie those loose ends up now

AA headcannon pt 14: Phoenix is next up for a bullet point list of my weird assumtions
• ANY kitchen appliance that can damage you has hurt this man
• Has been burned on the stove, burned on the coffee pot, burned on the toaster, slammed hand in a kitchen drawer, scraped side on the countertop, ect.
• So, naturally, this man won't use a real knife unless absolutely necessary. He cuts anything he possibly can with a butter knife and it takes extra time
• He kept that hoodie he wore all the time when he was disbarred, and made the mistake of wearing it to see Miles one day
• The way Edgeworth paled when he saw him in that thing again made him swear to never wear it around him again
• His favorite color is pink, but if you ask him he'll say blue because he heard Larry make fun of some other guy for liking purple in the second grade
• He was a trouble child. Not breaking rules or anything, just seeming to attract it like a magnet everywhere he went
• He would always come out with little to no actual damage, but the amount of times he was in situations he should have at least been hospitalized for a few weeks but just stood up, dusted himself off, and walked off to ask for a bandaid are too many to be a coincidence at this point
• Because of this, he started stockpiling medical equipment when he got Trucy, assuming all children had the luck of himself and Larry. This is not the case and he is the only one that gets into his first aid kits.
• -He'd be mad if he weren't relieved-
• He absolutely packs lunches for Apollo and Athena when he can, even if they are adults now, they're his lawyer children
• When he puts notes in them, he looks up good dad jokes. Athena always laughs, Apollo is always rolls his eyes, and Trucy just smiles and sets it aside to drink her juice
• The first time he sent Trucy to school, she was happy and excited and hopeful... And he was sobbing in the parking lot for half an hour, he's had his baby a few months and she's school aged!?
• A few years with Charlie has him great at taking care of plants. Does he know the names of all the houseplants and flowers he's cared for? No. Will he make some up? Yes, absolutely, he lives for that.
• Maya: And you watered the Ficus?
Nick: Do you mean Jimmy or Carol? What's a ficus??
• A lot of his faith in people was crushed when he got disbarred, and it got worse when Kristoph, his friend, turned out to be using him. Now his hand reflexively coils around his magatama every time he talks to someone that isn't part of his little family
• Apollo can see the twitch of his hand through his pocket, and the day Phoenix stopped doing it when talking to him, he was struggling to hold their conversation. He'd only worked for him a month and a half and he just has that kind of faith in him?? Apollo would cry if he wasn't trying to look cool
• The one thing that stops him from outwardly calling Klavier his son is that he's certain Klavier will one day be his son in law
• Apollo is following tradition on this one, and it melts Nick's heart to watch them and think of a younger him and Edgeworth
• It doesn't stop him from checking on Klavier, who greatly needs and appreciates all the time the attorney spends just making sure Klavier's doing okay out there. They get along surprisingly well.
• When he told Trucy and Apollo they shared a mom, and then told them who that was, Trucy was thrilled... Apollo was pissed.
• It took weeks of persistent fatherly love and careful evening talks to shake him from the anger his mom had abandoned TWO kids, and was still out there not taking any sort of responsibility for it
• But if there is a man who can be stubbornly kind enough to make sure his adopted don isn't further traumatized, it's Phoenix. He'd go to the ends of the earth for his found-family
• He's sometimes at a loss for what to do for Athena. She's so healthy! Like, health is a hobby for her. Mental health? Doin great. Physical health? She's got abs and that alone makes her a tough act to follow.
• Keeping up with her is so hard, but he does his best. He doesn't realize how touching it is to her he even tries at all, and she'll slow down if he's trying to jog with her and give him the encouragement he needs to feel adequate at the very least
• When she does need him and her stress levels are through the roof, he is there SO fast to return all that encouragement and help, hes giving 110% to make sure Athena is up to the Athena standard
• His family is his world, and he's always going to be happy he chased Edgeworth down all those years. He got more from it than he ever thought he'd have in life and wouldn't change a single thing.

AA headcannon part 13: The lack of Wrightworth on this blog is a crime and today I fix that with a list <(=w=)>
• The first few times Nick tries to get Edgeworth out on a date to make them actually official, he gets rejected
• But it's for weird reasons like "I do not have the time for dating." or "You'd grow bored with a man like me, you know how reserved I am." or "I can't provide the things you need in a partner, Wright."
• Phoenix did NOT chase this man all these years to get turned down for anything less than a lack of mutual feelings, and he calls him on the fact he hasn't heard Miles say he doesn't share the feelings he has
• Edgeworth, of course, is about to say something to the affect of "I'm sorry, but I do not think of you as anything more than a dear friend." but is entirely unable to spit the lie out, making incoherent noises and getting flustered this isn't an emotion he's able to repress on account he has no experience with this one
• When Phoenix wears him down and takes him out on a date, it's to somewhere nice and private, probably a smaller restaurant he knows Miles hasn't been to
• After the first few, Miles insists on being the one taking Phoenix out for a change
• He panics at not knowing what's an appropriate date setting, completely overcompensates by taking him to somewhere really expensive, and instantly regrets it when they walk through the doors and his broke, lost boyfriend is already uncomfortable in the fancy environment
• After every date where Phoenix walks Miles to his door, Pess insists on greeting the attorney the moment the door opens and Nick is happy to pet and baby talk the dog for as long as he's allowed to
• Miles will never admit it, but he smiles the entire time and would let it go on longer if he weren't sure Wright would attempt to take Pess home if they got along any better
• Edgeworth is the first person Trucy calls when Phoenix isn't picking up the phone
• Yeah, usually it's because our clueless, spikey haired, trouble-magnet left the thing at home or forgot to charge it and hasn't realized it's dead, but she does worry
• Doesn't have to for long, Miles is fully prepared to call any number of other people to ask if they've seen him. He doesn't want to go without being totally sure
• With his luck the time he'd assume Wright was doing alright as always would be the time he really needed help
• Phoenix initiates 90% of any contact between them if it's physical, but Miles does 90% of the planning things because Phoenix's time management is awful
• They both clean a lot. Nick is low-key scared if he doesn't clean he'll go back into a depression because he's started linking it together like 'mess = alcoholism' and he can't go through that again, he's come a long way since then
• Miles thinks that theory is without any logic or sense, that he's worked up for nothing, but if a clean house makes Phoenix feel better, he's gonna help clean it. (not like he doesn't already do his part, but he's mindful of the fact it does mean something)
• When they argue over something, it's always something small. An open fit of bickering is never over anything more than a mild frustration or an inconvenience...
• It's when they aren't arguing that there's a serious problem.
• Wright hates conflict. He's bad at dealing with it, it's all complicated, someone gets hurt, wounds take forever to heal, ect. He will take every chance to avoid it
• Will actually resort to overworking himself at the office sooner than come home and suffer through another night with Miles' back turned to him in their shared bed
• Not being able to hold Miles eats him up inside, and he legitimately cries when they aren't cuddling or holding hands or something while they're in bed. He's just so worried Edgeworth is going to be distant and cold again, that they're losing progress
• Edgeworth is great with physical problems he can solve on his own, no help required, just a few hours at most or a project to work on is perfect and clear. Emotions, however, are a whole other level for him
• Does he apologize? Even if it's not something he did would the sentiment be a fitting one? Maybe he should back off? If he tries to reach out will Phoenix shatter under his palm like those nightmares he used to have? Worse, will Wright snap at him like some kind of angry beast?
• After his mom died, Gregory went to a lot of therapy and picked up a lot of tricks for handling difficult feelings, and was always sharing them with young motherless Mililes, but no one's been around to talk Miles through his feelings since Gregory died.
• Overall, it just leads to long bouts of silence from the both of them when things get serious and they are both so lost
• Thank our respective gods for Trucy, she picks up on that shit SO fast and will not hesitate to get her siblings together for some Wright/Edgeworth couple therapy • • • Athena mediates for them by monitoring their emotions and Apollo to make sure they're not lying to get away from each other Trucy glares when one of them is clearly trying to beat around the bush
• Overall, it's a surprisingly healthy system for them a d they're much better for it

AA headcannons pt. 12: Blackquill receives a handful of bullet-point headcannons about him for no good reason <(=w= )>
Also, here's a spoiler warning, be careful.
• He watched the Steel Samurai as a kid, but now when he watches it he can't help but point out all the inaccuracies of the newer seasons. He claims the older ones were more 'well executed'.
• Athena heard him complain once and totally called him out on the fact he still watches them to know that in front of the entire presinct. The man had never been closer to actual murder in his life than the pissed silence that followed before he huffed and left before he made a scene of trying to defend himself over it.
•He has these weird scars on his right shoulder and ranging from his right calf down to the ankle and foot because he was teaching himself how to twirl a katana by reading a book, and with no good examples of how it's done, he ended up nicking himself doing it several times.
•He's secretly thrilled he's able to do it now, and gets a tinge of visible satisfaction when he does it in front of people (doesn't make it any less terrifying, he's still threatening)
•He won't do anything with his hair but brush it and tie it back to get it out of his way to go to work, but when he's at home he'll either have it down just letting his scalp rest or twisted up into a bun if he's cleaning.
• He wears a hair net when he cooks and forgot to take it off once before Athena and Trucy showed up to drag him to game night. They didn't tell him until he got there, and he will never forgive him for that.
•this man is SO mad nowhere in town sells exotic bird stuff. It brings him a lot of frustration to find brushes that will be kind to Taka's feathers and treats a hawk not only is able to eat but actually enjoys. Not to mention nowhere has accessories in bird size, he has to make all of Taka's bandanas so they aren't too large.
•Was offered to get Taka gendered once, a specialist was certain they could find out. Blackquill only had to contemplate it a short moment to realize that was a horrible idea, Taka would tear anyone to shreds that they didn't know. He declined, fine with his bird being simply referred to as 'bloodthirsty' and 'frightening creature' for pronouns
•He doesn't know that the people at the donut shop are actually very fond of Taka, but when he goes to pay the tab at the end of the week for any of the times he's sent Taka over, he does notice the tab is weirdly much less than the amount he expected to pay for his requests
•Being as he's 6'2" and towers over his peers, he's scary when he doesn't mean to be and that shadow over his face is mostly just the fact he's gotta look down to make eye contact with anyone
•After being out of prison awhile and starting to get better rest, the dark circles under his eyes aren't so bad
•Athena is always dragging him out to places, Trucy tagging along most of the time, the both of them bringing Apollo as well for fun, and it's resulted in the three being his closest friends.
•God help anyone who dares lay a hand on any of them, he has no problems tracking people on his work computer and fucking finding them if he has to. He won't tolerate it and he refuses to let anything happen to them like it happened to Metis and Bobby.
•After he finds out Fulbright was killed and replaced because he was trying to prove Simon innocent and he'd started actually finding leads, he takes it hard. He starts to really blame himself for the death of his former friend and partial caretaker.
• His support group doesn't stand for it, and he's shaken from his slump rather harshly when it starts to get unhealthy
•Overall, he's doing really well for himself these days, now that he's past everything and his cold, harsh demeanor has become somewhat of a playful joke about the things people expect him to say. Insults don't hold as much ground among friends, and though he tends to be distant and slow to make new ones, he's getting better about talking to the ones he has and really making progress.

Ace Attorney Headcannon part 11:
One of the reasons Trucy is so independent, even as a young child, is because Zak expected her to be. After Thalassa's incident, there was no one to take care of her when he wasn't home, and when he was it was all playing cards and new tricks. Trucy pretty much learned to be self-sufficient as long as he stocked the fridge and paid the bills.
She went from that -which had been her normal for most of her life- to having a dad that was around all the time, super supportive of her emotionally, fully ready to put his pride aside to get the money to take care of her and do whatever it took to do so. It was a jarring change for her, but a welcome one. She'd never really felt secure with anyone until Phoenix, and she's really glad he chose to adopt her.
All that's left is to pester him into making Edgeworth her mom more officially.

Ace Attorney Headcannon part 10:
A further point on my last one involving Kristoph, Klavier was too young to remember the incident involving Kristoph's hand or the events thereafter. However, in becoming much more mature than hr should be very quickly, Kristoph spent a lot of time making sure Klavier was cared for. He checked on his little brother often, making sure he wasn't hurt and that he had everything he needed. He didn't play with Klavier, but he did watch at a somewhat close distance to make sure nothing happened to him.
Klavier had broken rules on multiple occasions and gotten them covered up by his older brother, all broken things replaced, any evidence of a bent rule swept under the rug, left only to the light scolding of his brother, who would remain the only person that ever found out.
During the trial Kristoph got found to be the killer, Klavier could only struggle with whether or not he should pay him back for that, and the wave of guilt he'd even humored the thought of trying to get his brother out of trouble for murder was intense enough to make him start breaking down from the prosecutor's bench. It would take a lot of therapy afterwards to unravel the damage that did to Klavier.

Ace Attorney headcannons part 9:
The scar on Kristoph's hand was from an accident when he was very young, probably caused by something fittingly childish for a young boy to do like going somewhere he doesn't belong or provoking a notoriously mean neighborhood dog. It nearly went all the way through his hand and took a long time to heal, what's worse, he was in so much trouble when he got home he was hardly allowed to do anything but clean and read for weeks. -unkmowingly worsening his trauma from the whole experience-
From then on he was set on being perfect, the alarming change seen as a good one by his caretaker and not put to therapy even though he didn't act like himself anymore. An intense fear of being in trouble made him enjoy cleaning and reading as a coping mechanism and start to adopt the mannerisms we see him with in the game.
And that's why his scarred hand twitches when he is in risk of being caught, but not his other hand.

Ace Attorney headcannon part 8:
Mia spent a long time without contact with Maya outside of occasional phone calls and maybe a letter with some pictures for a long time after she left home. She'd either been busy or not thinking much about it, maybe even had the inkling Maya felt abandoned by her like when their mother left and the shame made her hesitate to face her.
That changed quickly after Diego went into his coma, and she realized that you never know how much time you have with your loved ones, that even if she didn't care about whether she was outcasted by the village, she did care about Maya. Phone calls became frequent, and visits had them feeling closer. Life may not be fleeting, Feys know what lies beyond it best, but it certainly is hard enough to pull people apart.
In the last few seconds she had of consciousness, she was glad she didn't let it.

AA headcannons part 7: A list of headcannons pertaining directly to Miles Edgeworth so there's prolly some spoilers down there, be warned.
• he went to all his dad's trials, and though Gregory lost to Manfred every time they were pitted against each other. He would always take it in stride and be a good sport to set a good example for Edgeworth, so he'd grown up respecting Von Karma as a hood rival to his dad, always routing for Gregory from the stands, but never dissapointed so long as the truth was brought to light and justice was served.
• He tried not to watch the Steele Samurai after moving in with Von Karma. It was a reminder of his dad and Phoenix a d Larry, all people he'd watch it with it and he had to be separated from now... It didn't last more than two weeks before he started watching it while Manfred was out. Franziska had even started watching it with him, helping him solidify yet another bond.
• As an adult, he still watches it. Reminders of the show like posters or action figures are direct reminders of all the people he cares about, and he finds comfort in knowing they are patient enough to wait for him to be ready instead of criticizing him for being difficult to talk to. The distance doesn't feel so far when he's focused on the samurai.
• When becoming chief prosecutor, his office was moved to a higher floor as was customary. Since he takes the stairs, and didn't want to take his personal problems into account on official records, he switched offices with Franziska shortly after this happened. People who find his office by record who don't know this are always surprised that the silver haired, ruthless prosecutor Miles Edgeworth is so oddly feminine before being whipped and redirected by a very annoyed Franziska. (She wouldn't deal with it if she didn't like the office as much as she does.)
• He's not glaring in the earlier games, he just needs glasses and doesn't realize he's squinting at everything like it has personally offended him. (this is practically cannon, let's be real, the man is cold but not really mean or impolite for the most part)
• One night Phoenix's apartment was the closest place he could get to and he'd been caught in the rain walking Pess. Wright was, of course, eager to invite him in and let him shower while he watched the man's furry companion. He had to borrow some of Phoenix's clothes, and the next day when he was brought his clothes back, now dried and everything, he noticed right off the bat his button up had been mistakenly swapped for one of Nick's... but he didn't tell him, only smiled and accepted the clothes.
•He still gets a weirdly satisfied look on his face when he notices Phoenix is wearing the shirt he accidentally stole from him.
• When Trucy needs help with homework, she skips Phoenix and goes directly to call Edgeworth because he 'looks like he's way smarter than anyone else I know', and Miles will slide that fact into a conversation any chance he gets to watch Phoenix get just the slightest bit offended that she not only said that, but definitely believes it.
• His interactions with Blackquill at work are very limited, but they nod to acknowledge each other in the halls and there's a rumor going around that they swordfight off hours. Samurai stuff is their only shared interest.
• They might just attempt to spar one of these days if the rumors don't let up
•He doesn't like swimming very much, trying to avoid any activity that has the potential to limit his access to oxygen in any form.
• Doesn't like sweets very much, and gets awkward eating in front of people for some reason, but if someone makes something for him, he makes a point to finish it. Even if its burnt or gross or experimental in nature, he appreciates the sentiment and wants to keep the integrity of that in tact
• He doesn't know anything about his mother. Gregory continuously promised he'd tell him when he was older, tell him why she was gone and what she'd been like when she was around and maybe even tell a story or two when Miles was old enough to understand it all fully, and when the wound didn't feel so fresh to Gregory. It was one of the last thoughts he had when he was dying, that he should have told Miles sooner. He looks so much like her, after all...
•He's got her name, he could look up his mom any day now, but it's never a good time. He doesn't let it bother him and he doesn't want it to. Truth is important, but some things are best left buried.

AA headcannons part 6: Bobby Fulbright edition (don't read if you dont want spoilers this has some big ones, boi)
Fulbright had not only always wanted to be a detective, but had always been 100% sure he would be. Even as a young child, he'd introduced himself as "Bobby Fulbright, aspiring detective!", and when he put on his mystery shows he'd always made a point to guess what happened before the characters did, criticizing logic errors in cartoons about stuff.
This led to an extensive knowledge on stuff like stab wounds, bullet marks, blood splatters, ect, which wouldn't have been a problem if he didn't like to info-dump. His parents had to explain that he was just really passionate about law and justice to every teacher he ever had, maybe twice if he'd said something particularly worrisome.
Meeting Blackquill was the first time in his life he'd ever questioned whether justice had really won. Just seeing the lack of actual evidence in his thin case folder had the detective feeling weirdly sick about the whole thing. He tried so hard to prove definitively, and without a doubt, that he was actually guilty, but the more he found, the more he was sure it had to be someone else. He'd almost jokingly started to tell himself it was almost like the real culprit didn't exist before he got a lead that ultimately sent him to his untimely death.

Headcannons part 5 or so:
Godot used to drink a normal amount of coffee and probably grew up with it as a staple in his household, but after waking up from his coma, his newfound fear of falling asleep is what led him to drink it excessively. Soon after, in an attempt to broaden his choices in the matter, he spent a lot of time researching different kinds of coffee so he could feel a certain level of control even if it's gotten out of hand over the time he's been so heavily reliant on it. The research was also a good distraction in the long night hours he spends fighting the need to rest.
Sad bonus headcannon: he's got a clock next to his bed for an alarm plus a second one that has both the time and date on it for some extra reassurance he's not been asleep long. Any more than 8 hours has him in a brief panic, just a rush of fear he's lost control of his life again before he realizes it's okay, he hasn't missed anything.

More headcannon:
Simon does not baby talk Taka out of respect as an adult bird, but he absolutely used to when Taka was a baby and probably well into adolescence. He stopped shortly after he started allowing Taka to make trips out without him, holding his feathered companion with a sense of pride and independence. (If asked about this, he will go on a tangent about respect and threaten the questioner with something to the effect of "Would you like to find out why no one is rude to my hawk firsthand?")
