The past two nights I've had vivid af dreams.

Dreams below cut

One where a guy i got to know a bit last year (he's not in my life anymore) turned up with a woman he was on a date with and like said he never liked me only got to know and flirted with me because no one else was around and then started to leave turned back and said 'but that doesn't explain why.I want to kiss you right now' and did (I was DEAD)

The second dream we were all running away from something then were at a party. My best male friend was stood next to me and I was sat but I was exhausted and kept fighting sleep. Eventually I was really struggling and sort of rested my head against him but he didn't move. My head stayed there and he I guess forgot I was there? He then went to tap his pocket to check his phone was there but tapped my head instead but didn't move his hand and kept it there, comforting me sort of and I fell asleep and my one friend shouted 'oh mu fucking god' at it because she couldnt believe her eyes.

P.s I do not have feelings for this friend. He is in a committed, happy, relationship.

One of the most life-changing things I ever learned came from Mythbusters, where they tested and proved (with cognitive testing puzzles and reaction time tests) that lying down and resting with the intention to sleep STILL provided significant mental benefits over just staying awake, even if a person couldn’t fall asleep in the amount of time they had. 

It helps me to actually sleep to know that just lying down with my eyes closed is still doing me some good, and helps me to not freak out/beat myself up when I stay up later than intended. Any amount of rest is better than no rest!
