I remembered when I used to clown people with a lot of tabs open on their computer. And now I am that person. And now I feel like I'm just making it to the starting line that others were at more than ten years ago. They were free to develop skills for simultaneous processing and I'm having to swim through trauma to unlock higher functions like a video game.

There is nothing more revolutionary than telling a world trying to condition you into accepting cruelty as a norm that you will be kind despite its best efforts.

The mind stays busy.

So busy, in fact, that it leaves no space to heal.

The pace we race is swift, and still

The larger forces hold us in perspective.

Quick is only brisk when you don't look up.

Our efforts, are eclipsed by bodies in systems,

And sirens are hidden beneath beds of production.

What waves will you embrace in the end?

What flow, what vibe, what gentle current

Rocking like the tools of dirtscaped pirates

Robbing our stories of their shine.

Can I claim float life?

Close enough to make waves, but

far enough to breathe.

The water is best

when you can sit above and

ride each passing swell.

Of course, if you so

happen to fall in, it helps

to know how to swim.

But even the best

swimmers would lose endurance

stranded in a storm.
