Can we talk about how at the start Big Red had no idea who Ashlyn was, to the point where when asked about her he called her "Ashlyn Tisdale" thinking they were asking about Ashley, but by the end of the season he's buying her flowers and shining spotlights on her.

“From a friendly standpoint, it doesn’t seem like a genuine connection, and you’re worried about him. But from a jealous ex perspective, you compare the way he acts with her to the way he acted with you, and for the most part, it’s really different.” She pauses. “Honestly, I think he still has feelings for you.”

summary:

He knew this was risky. He shouldn’t have done it, because he knew it’d probably open up an unhealable wound, and he’d come out of it with no good feelings at all, but he did it anyway. He’d stayed up until almost two in the morning trying to craft the perfect set of memes to send to him, ones that would look natural and like a friend wanting to reconnect and not an ex-lover looking for a fight. 

At 10:13 the next morning, he rapid-fired them.

Guys, this is really important. Until now, Google collected your data, but did not attach your name to it. Now, they can, and will. This new thing they’re doing will allow them to collect your data across searches, your email, Youtube, Maps, Google+, and all their affiliates, and build a complete profile of YOU.

If that doesn’t bother you, maybe this will: they own and can sell all that data, including anything you create and send (artists and writers, take note).

There is a way you can opt out of this ridiculousness. It’s described in the link, but if you’re still not sure about it, please ask me and I’ll guide you through how to turn all this off.

This is my wake-up call. I’ll be locking down my devices and scaling back what I put through the big Google machine, which means you may see less of me across social media. I’m going to keep researching this, but it may mean in order to keep the rights to my creative work, I’ll have to keep it out of Google’s hands. And that may take some doing.

hi everybody!

in the spirit of physical ("social") distancing, i've been spending a lot of time going back into my drafts, looking through and editing my works, and just writing in general.

i know i've been kind of inactive on tumblr, and i apologize, but i've still been posting on ao3!

in case you missed it...

i uploaded a few new chapters to the red review, and i'm working on another one to be released soon.

i've also been writing for the long-forgotten tyrus scott pilgrim au, tj kippen vs. the world. yes, the tag is dead, but we just got netflix back, so i figured i'd pick up where i left off!

i hope everyone is being safe right now.

your physical AND mental health is very important, so please make sure you're taking care of yourselves. despite social distancing, you should still remember to take care of yourselves. take showers, make sure to eat and drink water, go outside for walks to get fresh air.
