How does Vamp!Nightmare feel knowing Dream is terrified of him? (right now) To the point he somewhat locks up when facing him. Does he believe that eventually Dream wouldn't be so scared of him in the future or in the back of his mind he is worried Dream's feelings towards him would never change and forever fear him for what he has done to him and continues to do to him.. (aka keeping him from leaving...caged little bat lol) I'm after that angst I know lol

No worries I love that angst 👀

Nightmare blames himself of course, and he especially blames the villagers for doing this to them. On some level he enjoys Dream’s fear, likes the power he has over his brother, but he mostly hates it. He’s consciously trying his best to be better. The thing is, Dream scares him too. Nightmare is scared of his brother as much as Dream is scared of him. He refused to lose him, so he held on too tightly, but lost him in the end anyways. This time will be better. He’ll be better, but he’s still desperate not to lose him again.

Dream doesn’t like that pitying glint in Nightmare’s eyes either, so he tries to cover his fear up the best he can with brattiness. Dream isn’t only scared of Nightmare, but of their instincts. He’s scared that maybe, deep down, he kinda wanted to be kept all along (and that’s scary)

Now all this vampire and dreammare talk has me curious.. What IS their relationship anyways? Is it purely implied Dreammare with all the snuggling and Sire and Fledgling stuff or was there more to it? What happened before Nightmare turned into a vampire? Was it strictly Brotherly love or did some love get in-between the cracks of their relationship? Wait is this even making sense? UH.. What I'm getting at is did they love each other in the not so sibling way in the past before this? Or did that change after? And how was their relationship when Nightmare brought Dream and his pup back kicking and screaming?

Ooohohoho I got you 👀 I personally think they had a romantic and sensual relationship in the past. They were each other’s everything, less soulmates and more two halves of one soul type of relationship. The after is what changed things, shattering their entire dynamic.

Right now, Nightmare is strictly treating Dream like his fledgling. If Dream were to approach him, Nightmare would turn his advances down. They’re both assuming a lot of things about what the other wants. Nightmare doesn’t want to mess anything up, he doesn’t want to break Dream any further. But that leaves Dream feeling lost and angry, having all of his gained autonomy forcibly taken away after years of being independent. Right now, they’re a mess of instincts, and they need time 😌

What happens when the vampire bros are blood drunk do their brain cells go away to turn into only purr purr pur? Id like to know their attitude :3 don't forget to drink water!

They lose every single brain cell in favor of purr purr purr 🥰

Dream gets rlly silly, he purrs a lot and nuzzles anyone and everyone closest to him. He’s rlly clingy tho, and will cry if left alone. At the moment, it’s incredibly easy to throw him into a blood drink headspace, which isn’t dangerous to Night, but can be dangerous when he’s feeding from others. He’s also a very messy eater 😌

Nightmare gets quiet, and sleepy. His purrs are softer, slower, almost like a low growl. He fights for control, so it’s a lot of work (and blood) to get him to actually let go enough to fall into that mental haze. But once he’s there, it’s hard for him to snap out of it. Usually only Horror can manage to get him that far under.
