Based on new data, the CDC says if we care about the planet we should continue to hold virtual meetings rather than flying all over the world to give talks and network!
🔸️In order to be effective, #sanitizers need to be alcohol-based. They should contain at least 60% concentration of #alcohol in order to be effective. 🔸️However this can leave you with #dryhands or even #eczema especially if you're someone with #dryskin or #sensitiveskin . 🔸️Also, #handsanitizer formulas don't remove harmful chemicals like pesticides! So use a #hand #sanitizer only when outdoors or when you don't have access to soap & water.
🧡Washing hands with soap and water is the best way to remove all types of germs and chemicals like pesticides— even better than #sanitizers at times! 🧡Make sure you take 20 seconds to hand wash, and cover all areas of your hands, including your palms, backs of your hands, between the fingers and under the fingernails.

But they can be very stripping and end of dong the opposite- taking too much oil from the #skin and making the skin overproduce oil to compensate the dryness! Toners, on the other hand, are more balancing and hydrating.
💜 Skin care products I'm letting go of, after becoming a Dermatologist!
¤ Scrubs: abrasive for the face
¤ Astringents: drying and stimulate #oilyskin to produce more oil
¤ Pore strips: the strong adhesive is abrasive and can irritate your #skin!
💜 What skincare products do you no longer use much?

They heighten one's aromatic experience and help in marketing - and that's it. In fact, fragrances may cause skin allergies or irritation. Especially if you have sensitive skin, prefer using fragrance-free products
CBD, also known as cannabidiol, is being added to added to various skin care products for its purported health benefits
However, many of these marketing claims are misleading and not backed by enough scientific evidence. In fact, the FDA warns that CBD comes with possible health risks to the liver.
So, before investing into CBD containing skin products, do think twice!
