a little rant but everytime I see any pro nesta type of post and the comments are like “well it wasn’t explained why she did that!! she had no reason to do that other than being a bitch” I feel like screaming

because it is. literally every feeling and action that nesta has done since book one is explained by her trauma — either her trauma before or after the cauldron. she is angry and hurt and she uses mean and cruel words as a defense mechanism. she is deeply traumatized and she is surrounded by triggers that the people who claim to care about her never notice.

and people still don’t understand her…at this point you are just dumb and natural selection will come for you

Although Nesta transforms in more than one way, her embracing life in its entirety, with its ups and downs, as opposed to not caring about her own death as long as she no longer felt anything, will always be my favorite transformation.

To represent this, I asked Pablo to illustrate Nesta in two moments: the trauma of being submerged in the cauldron manifesting itself during the bath and her swimming serenely. Pablo even suggested that we use John Everett Millais’ Ophelia as a reference, because of the colors, but the idea that Nesta, as opposed to Ophelia, ends up alive because she chose to live, warms my heart and I’m very happy to finally share this illustration.

I think that the Slytherin Skittles actually pulled a lot of pranks when they were at Hogwarts, like as much as the marauders, but no one knows because they just were way more sneaky (And Regulus may or may not have pointed fingers at his brother) so the marauders just had double the dententions.

I posted a Rhys is actually fucking weak theory months ago and I’m glad to see everyone is on board with the idea now.

I mean come on, it just makes sense! Why else would he need to split his court to maintain order? He doesn’t even perform Calanmai, Keir does. Plus he’s only half High Fae, not full. It would explain why he needs the “mask,” because if people found out he’s a weakling, they’d kill his ass so fast. It’s also why he surrounded himself with some of the most powerful warriors in the world. I mean we’ve actually seen Tamlin’s power; he annihilated Rhys’s uber powerful dad within seconds of being High Lord. What has Rhys ever done that even proves he’s the strongest? Nothing. It’s literally just Feyre’s word we’re supposed to trust. Considering Rhys can’t even enforce the law in Illyria…it’s giving weakling.
