Oh, friend.

Okay, one time Colin Morgan and I needed to get past each other in one of the fuck-off, labyrinthian, behind-the-scenes hallways every con seems to have for some reason. So I smile all polite-like as you do, and he smiles back which is already a bit of a shock because the last time I saw this dude was in the Merlin pilot episode and he was a gangly NERD:

Instead I’m faced with THIS:

Look at those buttons! Look at them! The only reason you can’t hear their cries for help is I’m groaning louder!

Anyway, here I am crossing paths with this six-foot, blue-eyed, British wet dream and I don’t know exactly what my face does but it must be something because his smile goes sort of playfully knowing—the utter bastard—and then—then—the fucker winks at me. 

I shit you not I nearly fell over.

And that’s the story of how I very nearly swooned like a victorian maiden over an actor whose shows I don’t even watch.
