can't stop thinking about how that whole situation must've been bonkers from Tommy's pov

like, there is this dude so imprinted on you that he hangs out with you 3 days a week, while you both have differing schedules and do 24-hour shifts — oh and supposedly he also has a girlfriend.

and then his boy best friend asks you for a tour at your station and flirts with you, and then he shows up anywhere where he can get you and ends up bodyclocking his bestie like a preteen boy, which you'd think was to punish him, but you later find out that it was a subconscious attempt to get him out of the competition.

that's not mentioning the fact that the guy imprinted on you also introduced you to his son, who is incredibly fond of the other guy and won't shut up about him.

and then you worry that you came between these two friends, so you go see the one who is clearly more upset, to reassure him that's not what's happening, only to find out that he was actually crushing on you this whole time and he is also just realising this as he's telling it to you.

can you imagine the spin all that gave to Tommy's head??

The real reason why Chris is out of the picture is to make sure another salad bowl doesn't get broken when Eddie tries to move Marisol in without his consent! Which is insane!

Because in which universe would Chris come home after a few days, find out that this random woman he thought was his babysitter is gonna permanently move in with them, and be totally cool about it? In which universe would Eddie even consider a decision like that without Chris' opinion?

Love this show to bits but you can definitely see the cracks in the plot and minute loopholes that happen with a rushed script. I'm praaaaaaying that future episodes fix Eddie's ooc arc.

UNLESS. Unless you wanna talk about how him functioning uncharacteristically is a stepping stone to further discoveries about himself... unprecedented territories... like catholic guilt and... commitmentphobia and... you know...

I'm super curious if I'm an outlier here but like are people actually shipping bucktommy, enjoying the bisexual rep, or just vibing with Lou's dork ass personality/tommy as a character outside of the ship?? cause i don't ship them but the other two, yes very much so.

because honestly, i only want buck with eddie. and i think my husband put it best with "you can't go straight to putting buck with eddie, he's the prize".

the way oliver and tim talk about this season is so funny. you’re telling me oliver just decided he was going to be bisexual season and tim wasn’t thinking about it until he needed to bring in someone else bc arielle was unavailable for the air rescue so he called up lou and said hey do you want to come back on the show. also im gonna make one of those bitches gay i think what do you think about that? and lou was like hell yeah brother and then tim was like oh shit but eddie’s with what’s her name (marisol) so he can’t be gay yet. and then oliver walked by tim’s office a few times holding a bi pride flag and tim said oh shit. buck can be bi. lou do you want to make out with oliver and lou said no. i will kiss him tenderly and sweetly though. and tim said. we can work with that.
