船着き場にいた三匹のハチワレさん。桟橋の手前でひかえています。旅人のお出迎えかな。

Three cats in the harbor.  They are greeting travelers.

横になったまま体を伸ばす猫。ストレッチが終わったらまた寝るつもりですね(笑)

The cat is lying down and stretching.  He must sleep after stretching.

座っまま動かなくなってしまったハチワレさん。表情も変わらない。眠っちゃったのかな。

The cat sits and does not move.  He may be sleeping

シブいクロちゃん。鋭い目、引き締まった口、不敵な表情。迫力があります。

A very cool black cat.  He must be very strong.

静かに目を閉じて休憩中のハチワレさん。まわりに他の猫がいても完全にマイペース。

A cat is resting  He rests quietly despite the other cats around him.

落ち着かないサビちゃんとクロちゃん。遠くを気にしているようです。

Two cats are restless.  They might be waiting for something

何やら地面を気にしているキジトラさん。何かいるのかな。

A cat is looking at the ground.  Is something on the ground?

大きな浮きに乗っているハチワレさん。浮きが揺れるのを楽しんでいるみたい。

A cat is on a float.  He is having fun on the bobbing float.

首をカキカキするキジトラさん。ちょっと太っているけど、かゆいところにちゃんと足が届くのだ。

A cat is scratching his neck.  He's fat, but it doesn't matter because his leg can reach his itchy spot.

逃げても逃げても追いかけてくるハチワレさん。グイグイ迫ってきます(汗)

Cats are coming at me.  Even if I run away from them, they will still follow me.

離れたところからこっちを見ている猫さん。とくに警戒はしてないみたい。近づいてみようかな、

A cat is watching me from a distance.  I get closer to him 'cause he's not afraid of me.

天気が良くてあたたかい日は、猫さんも動きが活発。そこらへんを歩きまわってます。

A  cat becomes active on a sunny and warm day.  He is walking around.

横になっていたハチワレさん。急に顔を上げました。何かの気配を感じたようです。

The lying cat suddenly looked up.  He must have sensed something.

シッポを立てて遠くを見つめるキジトラさん。何かいいことがあるのかな。

A cat is looking into the distance with his tail up.  Something good may come to him.

港のベンチの下で控えている茶トラ。どうやら誰かを待っているようです。

A cat is under a bench in a fishing village.  It seems that he is waiting for someone.

目の前を通りすぎてゆく茶トラ。私には目もくれず、颯爽と歩いてゆく。

A cat walks past me.  He completely ignored me and walked away.

耳だけをピクピク動かしているキジトラさん。人間には聞こえない音が聞こえているのかな。

The cat is twitching his ears.  He may be able to hear sounds that humans cannot hear.
