ohhh i haven't done that yet but I'm very glad you suggested it!

first of all i need you all to know that all these headcanons are a product of shared effort and @knifemartin has done an enormous part in shaping them. i can't really say which ideas are even my own apart from the visual designs. you should see our chat. it's just chuck full of gobs.

secondly, this is hardly their final form as their personality traits keep piling up every time one of us has a silly little idea. so they might change slightly in the future, but for now, it stands so:

has a rocket engine in his butt

fastest of them all, good at climbing, sleeps like a windmill in a storm. always hits izzo in their sleep

loves izzo but especially loves to annoy them cause they're easy to wind up

very tall, very elbow

Big and Responsible Goblin, can be very naggy

likes order and routine

loves to goof around with plik but won't admit it

they're like twins except they aren't

esk likes making things, likes to help in the kitchen

loves charts and maths and experiments

grat likes cooking and making art

keen on keeping the clutch together

they love to play hide and seek or make things

even i can't tell them apart most of the time

smallest gob in the clutch, weird little girl vibes, their hands are always grubby

mostly incomprehensible, lives in their own world

gets easily distracted by anything, especially bugs

collects all sorts of rubbish and sends little trinkets to grizzop when he's away

never wins hide and seek cause she either starts humming to herself or just goes off to do something completely different

always sleeps with a hand on the cheek

head empty

likes to watch people and things, doesn't necessarily need to be part of them

slow and quiet - unusual for a goblin!

he and frax never get anything done when they're together

i'm sorry i'm back again (knifemartin). i just need u to know that i love the way you draw wilde SO MUCH!!!!! like, your icon??? i want that tattooed on my eyelids so i never have to stop looking at it. he looks so exhausted. he's done with it all, you know??? i have lived and experienced that exact emotion many times and I am living for the way you draw it. Any time i listen to an episode that is exactly how i picture him. ever since i saw your art that has been my version of how he looks. i am obsessed. i could eat him.

He IS Extremely exhausted isn't he! He has a very responsible role and not a lot of combat skills and he's been doing this for a very long time and he also spent a good while in a state where he couldn't even magic and has died two times in less than a month. He is very competent and obviously quite skilled at concealing his own sentiments about these things but he is also just one man. And he must be so tired. I keep thinking about Last words, he explained it to Zolf so well it hurt my kidneys.

They're a canon qpr and have an explicitly stated "non-romantic but deeply platonic commitment" to each other

They've got such a fun arc and in the end open up an inn together and are just. The most (affectionately) bickering married couple. Also the first time they met each other Zolf headbutted Wilde and threatened to drown him in a bucket (and would have done it, too. How things can change)

Propaganda for Barbie^2:

Almost immediately after meeting each other they feel like they're meant to be together and have a whole song asking how they ever survived before knowing each other. Malibu changed schools and relocated across the country so they could be together. They plan their futures together. Epic Road Trip is a Netflix choose your own adventure thing and in every single ending except one incredibly hard to get ending, Malibu permanently moves to New York or London with Brooklyn so they can pursue their careers together once they graduate.

btw it is vitally important to this that wilde has a blank zero in animal handling and has no idea how to deal with cats. they’ve crawled onto his lap and he still doesn’t know how you’re supposed to pet them and he gets trapped there for an hour. they’re in his favourite armchair and he doesn’t know how to pick them up and the last time he tried he got scratched so now he’s standing on the opposite end of the room trying to verbally persuade them to move. they’ve decided that his nice quill pens are the best toy ever and he’s holding it in the air out of their reach while also trying to block them from stepping on the fresh ink and fending them off with his leg but the kittens are just like oh playtime yay playtime!!! and continuing to attack, and wilde’s begging zolf to help me you bastard but zolf’s watching from the doorway laughing so hard he can’t breathe

tonight I am thinking about: zolf “physically cannot stop himself from picking up strays” smith literally picking up and bringing home stray animals. he gets home in the pouring rain and the door falls shut behind him and he freezes and is like oh…hi oscar…you’re home early…..and his raincoat goes meow and wilde is like what the fuck do you have and zolf somewhat sheepishly reaches into an inner pocket and pulls out not one but two stray kittens
