I have more sleeping ideas after the anon inspired me to think about it! You can combine them in one little story, you can keep them separate, whatever you like!
1. The all time classic "there was only one bed" scenario
2. Reader asking to sleep in the same bed for the first time
3. Reader calling his name in their sleep
4. Them inevitably snuggling close to him in their sleep🧡
“That Cold” Eragon x Reader
(A/N: Requested! This might be my first ‘there was only one bed’ trope done in a fanfic. Pretty sure. Your friend Eragon said he’d sleep on the floor. Yeah, like Reader thinks that’s a good idea? Warnings: Use of (Y/N). Mentions of freezing. Word Count: 844 words)
More allies. More knowledge of the land. Those were your tasks.
It wasn’t your task alone. In fact it was Eragon’s quest.
You had accompanied Eragon Shadeslayer on a trip further North. Exploring the landscape more. It was important for your current community and the future of its wellbeing.
Heading into an inn, the two of you did your best to lay low. Meaning Eragon’s hood had to remain up to hide his ears. Also most of his appearance, just in case.
Traveling with your dear friend truly was anything but ordinary. All on account of his many deeds and the rumors running about everyday people. It was odd to watch Eragon hide his face, one you saw every day. A reminder of the wider world.
At the moment before you, Eragon’s expression held minor irritation.
“One bed?” He voiced holding open the door of the rented room.
“One bed.” You confirmed and dropped your bags to the floor. “Better than none.”
“True.” He closed the door. “You take the bed. I’ll sleep on the floor.”
“Ah…all right. It’s cold.”
“We’re indoors.” Eragon stated as he started making a place for himself on the cold floor.
Both you and Eragon were aware of your hesitation. You were friends after all.
Yet you did not argue. You were too tired anyway for any stubbornness from his end.
The night carried on. Two of you settled for sleep.
On the floor, Eragon laid still as he heard you toss and turn on the bed.
Rest (Y/N), Eragon thought. He knew how tiring travel could be. He knew hot tired you were.
Why else did he suggest to stay in the inn?
Eventually, your breathing evened out and he felt the calm of the tiny room. Quiet and safe.
Outside, dogs barked, insects flew, and people snored.
He relaxed the best he could. Eragon seemed to have grown accustomed to the sounds of nature without the town ambience.
Eyes fluttering shut, Eragon hugged himself to retain heat.
A few hours and we’ll be on our way.
“Eragon,” you murmured.
Turning his head quickly, he saw you still in the arms of sleep. Yet he heard your irregular breathing. Even from down on the floor, he could see the frown on your face. The opposite of a restful night and with his name in the mix of it all.
Eragon called your name gently to wake you.
No change.
Once more he called for you, louder.
Your eyes opened. Confusion on your face.
“Are you all right?” Eragon asked.
You looked over to the Dragon Rider, tired and shaken.
His eyebrows knit together.
You sighed. “I had a bad dream.”
“Oh.”
“You were frozen to the floor. Stuck. No magic.”
“It’s no that cold.” Eragon stated. “I’m all right.”
Shuffling with the blanket, you had your obvious thinking expression. One Eragon knew all too well.
So he waited.
The nightmare bothered them this much, he thought, or rather me sleeping on the floor did.
“Uh…Eragon?”
“Hmm?”
“Can you—there’s room. If you’re comfortable with doing so, I mean.”
He perched himself on his elbow. “What?”
What are they talking about?
“I’m cold. My fingers ache and my nose is like ice. Can you sleep here with me, please?”
His eyes widened.
Oh. In the bed. He thought as warmth rushed to his cheeks.
“I promise no to steal the blanket and you’ll be the bestest person I’ve ever known.”
Best-est? He smiled at the thought. The best?
Whatever was the Dragon Rider to do?
To refuse his friend would hardly be what he wanted.
“Well,” Eragon got to his feet, “friends do not let friends freeze.”
Lifting up the blanket, you allowed him to join you on the decently-sized furniture. A little  adjusting of the blanket and you two were comfortable.
Neither of you said a word.
What would there be to say between friends? You had both long since bid one another a good night.
Sharing a bed for the first time was normal for people. Surely.
At least they won’t worry about me on the floor, Eragon thought as he sensed you drifting to sleep. A bed is nice in comparison to the hard floor. (Y/N) is better company than dirt anyway. He smiled at his sleepy thoughts.
At any rate, his neck certainly preferred a pillow.
Again, he smiled, but for another reason entirely.
Judging by your breathing, you were sleeping soundly. Also, very comfortable. In you sleep, you had buried your nose into Eragon’s shoulder and tucked your hands into his side.
No uneasiness came over him at your closeness. On the contrary, he was glad for it and even thankful in a way. It wasn’t everyday the Dragon Rider had the opportunity to be close to someone in that sense. A rarity, really.
Perhaps there would be other instances throughout your quest. Either way, Eragon would certainly not mind.
Carefully, Eragon pulled the blanket closer to you.
Stay warm, (Y/N). Even if it isn’t that cold.

A little advice from someone studying extremist groups: if you’re in a social media environment where the daily ubiquitous message is that you have no hope of any kind of future and you can’t possibly achieve anything without a violent overthrow of society, you’re being radicalized, and not in the good way.

A lot of pop psychology gets thrown around and since I already have a headache, here's preventing you lot from making it worse.
Love-bombing: A manipulation tactic of increasing affection and grand gestures before or after doing something abusive, specifically to weasel one's way out of consequences.
What it is not: A streak of affection and generosity towards friends/loved ones.
Trauma-bonding: Knowingly traumatizing someone to take advantage of their vulnerable state, to then act like the "hero" or the one who cheers them up.
What it is not: Bonding over similar traumas.
Gaslighting: *Knowingly* convincing someone they cannot trust their own perception of a situation in pursuit of one's own narrative.
What it is not: Misaligned perception of events.
Narcissist: Someone afflicted with Narcissistic Personality Disorder, a traumagenic cluster B disorder, that struggles with self-obsession, paranoia, craving validity from the public, delusions of grandeur, and social disconnection.
It is not: Your rubbish ex that cheated on you.
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

I saw an otter briefly hop on top of a babirusa at the zoo and when the stranger standing next to me heard my camera shutter click he turned to me with this look of immense relief, put his hand to his chest, and said in a dead serious tone “oh thank christ someone caught that on film”
