y/n experienced this before. especially with loki. he's faked his death more times than she's been on midgard (which is one but still). she's done the whole 5 stages of grief thing. but this time, she actually knows he's gone. her love is gone.

the first time loki faked his death, she was utterly heartbroken. y/n never thought she'd get over it. she was present when thor and loki were both hanging off the bifrost bridge. she was begging, pleading, with odin to just bring them both up. she saw the pain in her loves eyes, she saw the realization when he learned he'll never be good enough for odin. she saw him give up.

the second time she was more skeptical. she knew he was good at faking his death so before she actually starts to grief like last time she wanted to make sure he was dead before using up all her emotional energy.

loki then showed up to her room at the palace that night disguised as odin. y/n punched him after he came to her room. she was more relieved than angry but still, he faked his death for the fucking throne for frigga's sake. after the aftermath of the initial anger of it she ran up to him and flung herself at him with so much force he almost fell to the ground. with loki in the comfort of his love, he finally felt relaxed. she was there when the death of his mother actually hit him.

2013

"she thinks i hate her" loki said with an obvious sadness in his eyes. the sight made y/n's heart literally shatter in her heart. she's never seen loki this distraught, not even that pitiful day on the bifrost bridge.

"no she doesn't my love" y/n said with certainty. because she was certain that frigga didn't hate loki. before frigga's tragic death, y/n talked with her about loki. frigga knew he was just confused, she knew he loved her. she grew up with witches for god's sake.

"how do you know? it's not like she can tell you, she's dead"

"well, actually she did tell me. before it happened" loki turned to look at y/n whole still in her embrace.

"what on earth do you mean?" loki had wide eyes, still filled with sadness but now also with confused.

"when you and your mother first had your argument, she came to see me after. she knew what was to come, what was going to happen to her. she wanted to tell me she knew you didn't mean it. so i could tell you. because she knew you'd do this to yourself" after explaining what had happened with his mother and her, y/n saw he was almost relieved for a split second.

"a mother always knows" his mother always said that to him when she knew he was getting into trouble.

"a mother always knows my love" y/n repeated.

this time, y/n truly knows this isn't some misconception or loki playing one of his tricks. no, she watched as her love was strangled and ripped right out of her grasp. she was forced to watch the the life drain from his eyes. she truly knows this time, there's no resurrections.

when thanos and his children finally left, she was released out of there hold along with thor. as she crawled to his lifeless body, she wished this was all a nightmare. a sick, twisted, terrible nightmare. when she finally got to loki's body, it was cold and lifeless. most would say that's how he was before but she knew the real him.

"my love, oh my love" the tears falling down her bloody and battered face were ones of true anguish and depression. she lifted her hand to caress his cold, lifeless cheek.

"i love you, so much. you can rest easy now with your mother. one day we will meet again and have the life you promised me back when we were children." y/n whispered as she closed her loves eyes. thor was next to her at this point, lying on his brother, sobbing.

"we will avenge him y/n. no matter the cost" thor says to her.

"what else is there for me to loose?"

natasha was truly dumbfounded. where the hell did this little fuck nyx go? first she has her against the wall, fingers laced around her neck. then next thing natasha sees is a black fog thing in place of nyx, or now should she say y/n. natasha truly hated her now. if natasha didn’t hate y/n before when she found out y/n was trying to kill her, she sure does now.

nyx or y/n or whatever her name is, truly is something natasha has never seen before. and natasha has seen some crazy shit. she literally say giant aliens come out of a wormhole from space! she’s seen fricken asgardian gods!

natasha, like any child, were told stories either from friends or family about the gods and goddess, greek or celtic, evil or good. nyx was the goddess of the night. when natasha was little and learning about the greek gods while going to that shithole boarding school the red room, she learned even zeus, the all powerful god of the sky, was afraid of nyx. now some wack job with some party tricks and mind control is coming out to kill her and is called the nyx for the exact reason zeus feared her? yeah, natasha has never seen anything like her before.

y/n was used to whole fighting thing. she’s been up against some of the worlds deadliest people, including the winter soldier. she’s been there and done that. but for some reason she can’t get natasha, the infamous black widow, out of her head.

the way she had elegance in the most crude way. even choking her up against the wall natasha had some grace to her. which y/n finds hard to understand given her background, but not really.

after y/n literally vanishes out of natashas grip. she goes to where she was staying. in this old raggedy hotel. she didn’t like staying at the higher class hotels because it wasn’t what she was used too. or what she was comfortable with.

when she was back in her hotel room all showed and clean to some degree she receives a text from a stranger, or so she thought.

after y/n’s conversation with wanda, she started to get ready. wanda was an old friend. they were both experimented by hydra at the same time. while wanda volunteered to try and save her country, y/n wasn’t so fortunate. but they had gotten to know one another and became good friends. y/n was even good friends with pietro. wanda would say they were better then friends because they might have had something going on, but y/n would never admit that.

y/n’s whole world was turned upside down when pietro died and she hasn’t seen wanda since. so safe to say that y/n was surprised that wanda reached out. well, it might have been because she was trying to kill wanda’s mentor.

natasha knew wanda was there, and as backup. she just didn’t acknowledge it. she would rather die by the hands of her hit women then let her mentee clean up her mess. she’s stubborn (she’s a scorpio what do you expect).

once wanda and y/n met up, there was only one thing to talk about. and it wasn’t the thing anyone would expect.

“i just have one question, y/n” y/n was hoping it wasn’t the question that she was anticipating. she wasn’t really up for discussing it.

“well how can i say no to an old friend?” she can. she could just disappear right now. but no. she’s gonna stay and try to be a good friend.

“why did you leave?” well shit, that wasn’t even the question she was anticipating. but she already has an answer. and she already gave it to wanda.

“i already told you before i left. i had an out and i took it.” y/n says without a second thought.

“you didn’t even give me or pietro a second thought. you just left.” wanda might start crying. being friends was an understatement from the both of them. they were like sisters. getting experimented on at the same time can do that.

“i did. i asked you both to come with me. you both said no.” y/n really didn’t want to have this conversation again. she was sick of feeling guilty for escaping a literal nazi organization.

“but we were family. we were supposed to stick together. pietro and i had to fight for our country.”

“and i had to fight for myself! you guys volunteered for struckers shit. i didn’t. i was forced. so excuse me for wanting to leave somewhere where i was held captive.” y/n was on the verge of strangling the living shit out of the girl in front of her.

“you didn’t even stay after i told you what happened to pietro.”

“i couldn’t, and im sorry. but i lost my first love and i couldn’t stay.” that was the first time y/n as ever said that she loved pietro. wanda always suspected it, but now she has proof.

“and i lost my brother!” wanda was yelling now. which is new. y/n never heard her so angry before.

“i know. i wanted to be there for you. but i needed to leave, and im sorry. i wish i never did.” this was the first time y/n was actually showing any emotions since the death of pietro.

the both of them didn’t say anything else after for what felt like years, which it was actually around 5 minutes until wanda put her hand over the table to grab y/n’s.

1. i love marvel (obviously) and have watched all the marvel movies and am in the works of reading the comic. theres so many so it's gonna take me awhile.

- my favorite characters are wanda, loki, erik lensherr/magneto, storm, cyclops, scott lang, t'challa, shuri, and dr. strange, and sam wilson. I KNOW ITS A LOT BUT I CAN'T CHOOSE I LOVE THEM ALL!!!!

- my fav movies are x-men first class, dr. strange, black panther, ca:ws, thor ragnarok, and infinity war.

2. im a cat person. if you hate cats get off my blog, respectfully.

3. my favorite artists are harry styles, olivia rodrigo, taylor swift, mitski, maneskin, sza, zayn, an niall horan. AGAIN ITS ALOT BUT I CANT CHOOSE

4. im really invested in my academics and school.

- im class president, in the student voices committee, ladies club, lacrosse, varsity cheer, swim, and organized a social justice walk for our school (i like to brag abt it bc im proud of myself)

6. i still sleep with stuffed animals.

So, India is dying.

Look, I know a good number of you are from the US and things aren't amazing there either, but my country is literally on the brink of collapse. So I'd love it if we could talk about that for a minute.

If you can't do anything else, please just read and reblog.

A second COVID wave has taken out the healthcare system. There are no more hospital beds. There's an oxygen shortage. There's a critical vaccine shortage. The Central Government has thrown its hands up and is passing the baton to the State Governments to do what they can.

There are over 16 million covid cases. A record 330,000 new cases reported yesterday - comparable to the US at its peak. 187,000 dead as of today.

There is no plan.

Mass cremations are taking place. The cremation grounds are running day and night and they are short on wood. People are watching their loved ones die while waiting for a hospital bed, and then they're unable to give them the proper burial rights.

Hospitals are overwhelmed. Patients are being confined, two to a bed. They're the lucky ones.

We are on the verge of people dying in the streets.

This is the second-most populous country in the world. The largest democracy. A country that encapsulates over 15,000 years of recorded human history and has endured everything from famine to invasion to colonisation.

We might be at the end. This might be the thing that does us in.

People are dying.

People are dying and there is no plan.

More good news? Variants are popping up. A double mutation strain has shown up. It is resistant to current vaccines. This will not go away. This is the devastation they warned of when the anti-maskers were out protesting the minor inconvenience of covering their face in public.

My country is on the verge of an emergency state. Our government has failed us. This is as dire a situation as it ever could be.

Look. I don't do much with my life. I write fics, some of you have read them and that's pretty much it. I spend my days with my head in the clouds because that's where I like to be.

But two days ago, my grandmother tested positive, had to be taken to hospital and the ambulance caught fire.

She barely made it to the urgent care she needs.

So, here I am, using whatever meager platform I have to cobble this request together. Because I have to do something.
