Moving blogs!!

I have mentioned this a few times already but I’ve decided that I’ll move blogs! I’ve been with this blog ever since I started using tumblr 5 years ago, way before I even decide to try my hand at writing fics. This blog will always be special to me and I have so much good memories on here but I think it’s time I move on from the blog I made when I was 14 and get a fresh start 😌✨

I’ll be continuing kinktober over there (took me a bit of time to transfer my drafts because I’m the dummy who likes writing directly on tumblr) and I’ll also be reposting my first kinktober fic for easy organisation. Yeah so true! I’d have to be honest and say I’ve thought about it but I’ve never considered it fr until now. I’m not leaving tumblr or stopping with fics and I’m not gonna consider that really, but I’ve been sticking with this blog for so long I’m starting to think about starting over again haha

Yes I don’t see myself deleting this blog any time sooner! I’ve been using it for so long that it feels like an archive of my entire teenage years so I’m not ready to say goodbye yet😌as for moving, I’m still thinking about it because I’m not sure if it’s just an impulsive thought I’m having lol either way, if I do move I’ll make sure to put any new urls here so everyone can still find me if they wanna✨✨

You were not prepared for this.

The same street that was filled with people and the bustling noises of daily life was not in complete silence, less for the occasional howl of the wind and the screeches of tires from the distant highway. You shivered when you felt the wind pushing you from behind, the cold tickling your spine and sending shivers straight to your scalp. 

Black clouds, bright moon, silent night, perfect for a hunt.

Every sudden noise that was not from your own feet dragging along the concrete was enough to make you jump, folding yourself smaller in the dark in fear that your fear would expose your whereabouts. You had to make the run as soon as you saw the chance, zooming down the street the moment you made it out the usually locked door unscathed and undiscovered. There was no time for you to grab anything that could shield you from the late-night chills and the goosebumps on your skin only reminded you of how the upper hand in this game was never yours.

Your feet hurt from running, the thin slippers you managed to slip your feet into before dashing out was no support for the run. You knew his routine around the house well enough. There was only so much time each day when he wasn’t around to catch you the moment you even wander near the door and even if you did manage to get out in time, there was no doubt that your speed was no match to his. 

You had failed many times, your will to run getting bashed again and again as he dragged you back. But the yearning to get out always made you try again.

There was no plan, the only thought in your head was that you had to find somewhere to hide, somewhere that he wouldn’t know to find you in. The streets that had looked so wide and bright in the day appeared as if they were twisting and turning, the darkness behind each corner swallowing you whole every time you disappeared into it. You had no idea where you were going and you doubted that you had the time to think, all you could do was to trust the weight in your gut and the last bit of instinct in you to survive that each blind turn when there was a split road would take you to the right destination.

There was no one, you kept repeating it to yourself every time the shadows looming in your head whispered to you to stop running and look behind you. The shadows were lying, you gulped as you picked up your pace once again after stumbling on your steps, lying like snakes who crawled on the garden walls until everything was trapped inside and it was only a matter of time before they got devoured.

But still, it felt like he could be everywhere, watching and waiting for you to make the wrong turn before falling into his trap.
